Apostles Update Week 10

Dear Friends

We thank God for those who survived Cyclone Idai. Our hearts and prayers are with the families of those who did not make it. May we continue to pray for the people that were affected and that relief and help is able to reach them on time. Let's thank God that rescue efforts are fruitful.

Waterfalls EAST 3rd Edition Word Festival.
From Wednesday the 13th of March to Sunday the 17th of March it was a hive of activities as believers gathered for five consecutive days hearing and dining in the word of God for two hour Word sessions every day. Attendance was 350 on the first day and rose to above 900 on Sunday as the auditorium was filled to capacity. Our speakers DP L. Mahaso, Evangelist F Phiri and Overseer A.Gudyanga all taught powerfully.11people gave their lives to Christ and about 10 people where healed from operations. In attendance were believers from other districts as people enjoyed the Word of God. On Sunday the presence of God was so thick to the extent that even children heard God audibly speaking to their lives as we were being taught on the kingdom of God. Many people saw visions of the Apostle and Servant of God in various forms blessing the church. Surely Waterfalls East has been transformed by the word of God and will never be the same. We give all the glory to the God of our father Apostle E. H Guti.

Child Evangelism
The 2019 Annual Young Generation Leadership Seminar (11-14 Years Olds) entered its fourth week with conferences held in Bulawayo, Checheche and Chitungwiza zones. Bulawayo zone recorded the highest attendance this weekend with 308 young leaders in attendance followed by Chitungwiza with 92 Children and Checheche with 54 children despite the challenge of cyclone disaster in the area. In all conference centres speakers took turns to teach the young leaders in subjects which include Salvation, Holy Spirit, Leadership, Communication, Grooming, Team Building, Giving and Church History. The C.E Ministry has seen the hand of God through these leadership seminars, the young leaders were happy to learn the fundamental principles of our Church and also to be equipped and become leaders in the house of God as well as in their own lives. Glory to God who gave His servant, Professor E.H Guti, the vision of Child Evangelism Ministry.

Nashville
We had a special 'Testimony Sunday' service due to the hand of God being experienced in believer’s lives. Pastors Mariano opened up a platform for the church to share the greatness of God in their lives. In attendance were twenty people of which six were children and one adult visitor. It was indeed a great day as members grabbed the opportunity and related how God changed their lives. Some testimonies were such that people broke into laughter, and as the testimonies progressed, they broke into tears and ended with tears of joy. Different types of testimonies were shared, from salvation, deliverance, intervention in difficult court cases, immigration cases that seemed impossible approved after 20 years and provision including provision from being homeless to having a ‘permanent address ‘ as one member expressed, saying God provided a roof over her and family. These testimonies also moved the visitor to share his own. We give all the glory to God.

Philippines
We had a wonderful service on Sunday as the church was very excited to receive their Pastor. We had an attendance of 13 women, 3 men and 4 children. Overseers Luke and Mabel taught from the African Apostle and the hunger for the Word in believers was very notable. After the service, we launched AMFCC part time lessons to ground the memebrs in the word of God and doctrine. The joy in receiving a pastor was evident in that after all this some members were glued at church such that the last couple left at 20:50hrs. We really need to thank God for this first service which determined the direction and also the spiritual needs of the church.

Jamaica
Portmore Assembly.
“Revival Greetings” from Jamaica to the FIFMI family around the globe. We had a wonderful revival and gospel concert. The whole week was power packed and well attended, Monday prayer had 11 people in attendance and Wednesday prayer and bible study had 12 people. The revival started on a high note with record attendance of 55. By Sunday the morning and evening services had 49 and 43 people respectively. 5 people gave their lives to Jesus and 3 made FIFMI their home. One person was baptised while other new members are still to be baptised too. Below are some of the miracles:
  • A couple reconciled and gave their lives to Jesus.
  • A woman who had pain on her cheek bone was healed after she had been going to the doctors since January but they could not tell the problem.
  • Another woman was having stomach pains and got healed and many were delivered and spiritually uplifted. Glory to God!
We want to thank our father and mother for sending Evangelist Phil we have truly been revived. Thank you all for your prayers to the success of our revival and gospel concert.

Montego Bay Assembly

Nevis
Nevis experienced a BIG SUNDAY! It was Big in numbers with a total of 55 people attending (36 Adults and 19 Children which included 3 First Time Visitors). Our Praise and Worship Team brought many to their knees crying out loud to God, speaking in tongues and shouting Hallelujah and prepared us for the Word. Many approached the altar for prayer and 3 people received Christ as their Saviour. There were some notable miracles:
  • A lady who was hearing strange voices was prayed for and delivered - her itching body was restored.
  • A girl who was prayed for because of a recurring pain on the cyst in her body cried as she received Jesus and felt restored. Our God is an Awesome God.
  • A lady who was feeling heaviness and bound was laid hands on and received her deliverance.
The God of Ezekiel was at work with Kingdom Power demonstration visible throughout the entire service. Praise Jehovah! We continue to pray for securing of a Church Bus, and our upcoming Leadership Seminar.

Barbados
We give thanks to the God of our Father Ezekiel Guti for the tremendous transformation in the lives of the believers in Forward in Faith Ministry Barbados through the powerful teaching of the word. Indeed we have got the joy, the love of Jesus, the peace that surpasses all understanding down in our hearts. And we are so very happy. Our Sunday Service was spectacular with 46 in attendance thanks to our powerful Worship Team who took us to another level. We experienced the mighty move of God in our midst. Our beloved Pastor David Simango unleashed a powerful sermon and believers received peace in their hearts, marriages, homes and families. Two young Ladies Shanaya and Tamara received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We give all glory and honour to God and thank you for your prayers.

Mozambique
Thanking God for the successful pastors Deeper Life held in Niquadala, Zambezi province. All the speakers were mightily used by God. The cyclone that was expected to pass through where the pastors were gathered for the conference changed the direction after a prayer of faith was done. The God of our father heard the prayers of his servants and the Deeper Life went on without any disturbance just as it happened in January in Harare after the man of God prayed. Pray for safe travel of our speakers as they are still closed in Beira where there's no communication and roads were destroyed.

Botswana
We thank God for His Servant and Apostle Professor E.H Guti who sent us our mother, Apostle Dr. Eunor Guti during the Ten Days prayer, our nation has never been the same again. We had a Prayer Retreat from the 10th to the 12th of March 2019 for Greater Gaborone ladies; attendance rose from 39 on the first day to 130 on the final day. On the last day great deliverance took place and the thick presence of God covered the Block 8 auditorium which had on the very day an attendance of over 130 delegates including some from AFM, Christ Embassy, Spirit Embassy Ministries, United Methodist and Bible Life. Some of the testimonies were: one lady was under medication but managed to fast day and night for 3 days without it but God strengthened her. Glory to God!

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

In the church there’s a period or season of temptation, gossiping and spirit of lust (especially when top leaders are fornicating). When you are not strong, you will suffer during that time. The period will end but know that it comes. There’s a time a certain spirit moves and sometimes you find yourself doing things you did not intend to do. Another time it can be the spirit of jealousy and people can get lost. Everyone gets tempted. There also comes a time for greed of money.
Heb 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
It takes time for one to have discernment. During those periods or seasons, one needs discernment. The purpose of ten days’ letter is how we can fear God. When the fear of God is there, you can be tempted but you will not sin. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
