Apostles Update Week 10

Dear Friends
We want to thank God for what He is doing in our midst indeed He is giving us grace. The believers are growing and loving their church and they are full of joy. Midweek services have been successful; our members are attending the services. During the week attendance was between 2 and the maximum 4. We held a powerful Sunday service, despite the rains we had some believers coming to attend. After a life changing Word on the name of Jesus and we saw God healing His people, to God be the glory. We had 9 locals who came for services. Continue to pray for us that we be kept from the coronavirus and that believers may remain strong.
We bless the name of the Lord as we continue to thank God for His faithfulness in our nation. In all the midweek services the attendance was good as our 4 home cell groups are functioning well. Friday we had 36 people who attended the service and the praise and worship was powerful. We had time to pray for our nation as the church as the things are not back to normal since after elections. We need the Will of God to prevail in our nation. Sunday in our service we were being encouraged to continue having faith and not to be defeated by fear because of the virus as we have 4 people tested positive in our nation. Our faith is in God as we continue to hold on to the teachings of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti. 41 People attended the service. We ended our service with fellowship. Thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for peace to prevail in our nation.
We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel for the powerful Sunday service. 35 adults and 12 children attended and 9 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In February we were excited to receive our Elder Denmark from the USA, God used him powerfully in deliverance and healing and miracles and there is a great revival in the church.
In a period of one year God has enabled us to pay the electricity services, water, rent, and transportation sustaining the church and for that we give Him the glory. We also thank God that although there are cases of the Corona Virus in our country there has been no deaths. We need a lot of prayer for stability and health of our economy and for God to continue providing the funds to sustain the church.
We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel for His grace and faithfulness. As usual we continue with our Prayer meetings on Tuesday evenings. And indeed we thank God for powerful testimonies as the prayers continue to yield results. Our Deliverance & Healing Service on Wednesday morning is becoming popular, with quite a number of people from all across Barbados actually attending the services. The Believers are excited about the Bible Study Home Cell groups on Wednesday nights, as the numbers continue to increase. Friday night, is sought-after with the believers turning up in large numbers for the service. Men of Integrity also had a meeting on Saturday evening with 3 visitors attending. Sunday we welcomed our beloved Pastors Newman & Alice Kuzamba from the UK. We thank God for bringing them safely with no problem. During the service believers shared testimonies of miraculous healing and provision. Pastor Newman was on fire as he preached a powerful message and many received healing and 4 people gave their lives to Christ. Attendance was 47 Adults and 5 children. We thank you for your prayers.
We had such an exciting week as God has been using us to spread His Word and love. Our weekly services were well attended; Wednesday Bible study we concluded our topic of the Christian nature and seven believers attended. The Young Generation had a powerful service learning about the love of God, six children attended the service. Pray for us as we will continue to teach and encourage them in the Lord and His Word. The Friday evening prayer session was attended by sixteen believers, who came together to pray for our ministry and our country. We had a wonderful Sunday service and we thank God for His faithfulness, we had one visitor who later gave her life to the Lord. The presence of God was so rich and members were touched with the Holy Spirit. Other weekly activities included hosting and ushering seminars; please pray for us as we will be hosting two upcoming events, our Marriage Enrichment seminar and our Ladies Big Tuesday this week.
We continue to see our Pastors and leaders encouraging us to fellowship with one another not only on Sundays but throughout the week at our weekly activities. Attendance has risen with weekly activities reviving and renewing especially on our Prayer nights on Monday and Friday where we are seeing close to 20 in attendance each night. Wednesday home cell groups are also growing as people are hungry and eager for the Word of God. Our Sunday service had a total of 33 in attendance. Our Worship team set the pace for the delivery of the Word that the solution is in Christ Jesus and we all left filled with hope and joy.
We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti that we are continuing to grow as FIF Mauritius, both in numbers and spiritually. Last week we had a week of prayer and fasting coupled with constant teachings from our Pastors. We are continuing with leadership seminars every Friday evening. Our Sunday service was attended by 37 people and the church was full of joy as we received new visitors, two sisters from Zimbabwe. The atmosphere was charged during the service, with an exciting Bible study, a powerful Praise and Worship session, a life-changing teaching of the Word and Holy Communion. After service, we had a wonderful fellowship for the whole church. Glory be to God. Continue standing with us in prayer for our believers to grow spiritually and to be grounded and rooted in Christ.
We are truly thankful to the God of our father Ezekiel for showing Himself in a mighty way at the Elders Seminar held in Perth,Western Australia on 14th March 2020. A total of 42 elders attended and we were sharpened by powerful teachings. The Seminar was very interactive as it sought to equip the elders to bring the church back to the original with elders from the older generation sharing their experiences with those from the emerging generation.

  8. Thanking God for preservation of the church in China and around the world from the Corona Virus and that the saints may know that the God of Ezekiel is protecting them. We need to put our trust in God.
  9. Thanking God for your nation.
People are angry because they are hungry. If you feed people you will become a friend to them. The message as we enter the new year is the love of God.
If you are a member of ZAOGA FIF, this time don’t play with sin. If you keep on fearing God, but if they try to bewitch you scripture says
Prov 26:2 “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.”
I want you to have spiritual eyes. The year 2020 is different from other years. I encourage you to be strong because there are spiritual things I cannot tell you but only to encourage you to be strong in the Lord. If you are a member of ZAOGA FIF, get away from wrong people. Don’t mingle with people who don’t fear God. Like the people from Germany who did not confess their sin - where are they now? Dead. Don’t listen to people saying you will have no place to stay, your spouse will divorce you, this and that. Listening to people who say suffer in silence, it’s wrong. This is not the church to do it. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
