Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 16

Dear Friends
We thank God for another powerful international Sunday. Once again ZAOGA FIFMI was united and received a message of hope through the word by Apostle Dr. Steve Simukai. Tens of thousands of viewers watched on Ezekiel TV in their homes (Africa), many thousands on our websites and, while 30 000 watched via Facebook and YouTube. while about 61 000 were reached via online live-streaming and 39 000 engagements. Many people from around the globe were healed and delivered through the word and others blessed and strengthened by the power of the word. Some church groups experienced the service as they watched together. This has brought the global family together. People felt encouraged as the lockdown continues.
We give praise to God for 3 souls that were saved during the broadcast last week. Glory to God.
We thank God for a fruitful week. The pastoral team continued to minister to home churches through prayer and counseling. We are getting a resounding response with powerful testimonies of God's healing and provision. One believer referred a relative for prayer and counseling who received a tremendous touch from God and a word of prophecy, indeed we thank God for drawing people to Himself. What a life changing Sunday we had. More than 8 families gave a feedback on how they were so blessed with the Word. Help us to pray that believers may continue to grow.
We thank God for His faithfulness in our nation as we continue with prayers as families. We are really seeing His grace through the Bible study as the number of people online is increasing. We give glory to God for the Friday service as many people managed to connect for the service. We had a powerful word about the Kingdom of God from our Pastor. The church was blessed. We thank God for the international service, these services are proving to be very fruitful in Guyana. This Sunday a lot of believers listened to the Word and they were blessed so much. Some of the feedback from our international service from the believers:
  • Thank you very much the service was intriguing, a message of the times.
  • The message was inspiring and powerful.
  • We thank God for an awesome message.
  • One man who was suffering from kidney problems, when the Apostle Steve Simukai was praying he mentioned it through the Holy Spirit when he spoke about kidney stones. We thank God for healing him through prophetic prayer.
We thank God for a powerful and anointed service the believers enjoyed and were blessed. Thank you for praying for Guyana the believers are protected through your prayers.
We indeed thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness. We had a wonderful week with our online services still intact and many believers joining in with their families. We continue to meet for morning glory prayers on Monday to Friday. The sessions have been remarkable with amazing results in our spiritual lives evident. The believers now experience the peace of God, no more fear. We continue with our Tuesday evening prayers. Our Pastor encouraged us from the Word given to us through Archbishop Soko: emphasizing on the Word of God. Wednesday evening, all the cell groups joined together and we had a wonderful interactive Bible Study session facilitated by our beloved brother Richard. We had an awesome Service on Friday night well attended. We also thank God for amazing and powerful testimonies of restoration, healing and provision during this time of lockdown:
  • A believer testified of her marriage being restored and together they now join in for the services and prayer on line.
  • Another believer also testified that her whole family has been restored and they are enjoying a wonderful time together.
International Sunday for us in Barbados was special. We had the privilege to hear the Word delivered by Apostle Dr. Steve. Indeed it was encouraging and many were healed and delivered as he prayed. We thank God for our lives and the marvelous work He is doing in our midst. We thank you too for your prayers.
We give thanks to the God of our father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti for continuing to protect us. We are able to meet through Zoom and God is blessing us through His Word. Last week we were able to host our Bishops Dr. Jonathan and Greater Chikwawawa all the way from United Kingdom through online services. God used them mightily to encourage the church in these times of Covid 19.On Monday majority of the believers failed to join in because of an electrical problem that affected almost 3 Parishes (provinces) but 9 people managed to attend. Wednesday we had an attendance of 22 people and Friday recorded the same number. Montego Bay assembly also attended. Of note is Sister Karen who joined the services from New York.
An Elder thanked God for using Bishop Jonathan to remind people that God has a covenant with our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti. She said she was living in fear but after the preaching all her fear was gone. She now believes that God can never betray His own servant. For the second week running we managed to join the FIFMI International Big Sunday. We thank God for using Apostle Dr Steve in such a might way 15 people managed to attend the online service. Here are some testimonies:
  • A Deacon stated that the Word was so profound at such a time as this. She was reminded about the 10 days letter and promised to continue to mend her relationship with God.
  • An Elder testified that the Word was full of power and the preacher was used to speak into her life. She used to concentrate in one area and now after the preaching she is going to make sure she develops herself in every area.
  • Another sister thanked God that she now understands the importance of keeping our pattern. She was touched when Apostle Dr. Steve continued to refer to the 10 days letter written to FIFMI by our father through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We thank you for all the prayers for Jamaica. All our members are safe including one who is the right hand man of the Minister of Health. God has continued to protect him considering the places he visits with the Minister.
As we continue growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through our online weekly night meetings, we thank God for having attendance of most of our members each evening. Our Pastors and leaders reach out to the other members who are unable to connect with us via the internet. Prayer meetings, women’s fellowship had a powerful Tuesday Ladies meeting with Pastor Sylvia Munemo as our guest speaker. Bible study has been successful with best online attendance. Some of our members were also able to join the International Big Sunday service although it is held at 5am local time here. We continue to have our Sunday service, where the other members who were not able to join in the International Service were given the privilege of hearing a replay of the service. With a strong attendance, our members testify of the faithfulness of God answering prayers and providing for them during this dry season, as we continue to bear each other up in prayer. We give God all the praise, honour and glory as He keeps us during the pandemic. May we continue to obey the word and encouragement of our Apostle and father Ezekiel Guti to Fear not and sin not, and make sure that our relationship with God is stronger than ever before.
Corona Virus has not stopped God’s work in Nevis as we are seeing our numbers continue to climb as our Members encourage other Family Members and Friends to get on board for Jesus. We continue to focus on Apostle Ezekiel Guti's 10 Days Letter at the beginning of this year where he revealed to us the year 2020 will be different and it has been. The words ‘Fear Not, Sin Not’ continue to be the motto to live by. Nevis is still on lockdown but God is not locked out of our weekly activities online as Monday's prayer saw one of the largest attendance with a total of 31. Many members expressed how refreshed they feel after prayer and what it is doing for them. On Tuesday we had had 17 Attendees at our Ladies Meeting on Zoom and Whatsapp. Wednesdays Bible Study saw 13 Attendees with a powerful continuation of the WORD from Pastor Michael encouraging us to continue "Advancing in the Kingdom.
We welcome our newest group from St Marten led by Deacon Lucien. Brothers and Sisters who were hungry and expressed how long they had been waiting for something like this- to God be the Glory!
For Saturday's Worship night there were 15 in attendance and expressed how much they felt the presence of the Lord sharing with the Worship Team. Sunday service we started out by joining the International Service on Facebook and youtube and for local church a total of 29 (20 adults came together with 9 from Deacon Lucien's Team in St.Marten) to share the word delivered By Pastor Ben
Our Children's Church immediately followed with 10 Children online. We continue to pray for a safe and timely delivery of our church Bus which is scheduled to be delivered in early May. We thank God for our father’s teachings that have prepared us to better deal with this global crisis as Children of God.
It’s with great joy that we report the success of our first-ever online national conference for FIFMI USA and Belize Pastors, held from Thursday, April 23 to Saturday, April 25 using ZOOM. Led by our Deputy Administrators Drs. Zenas and Cathy Marurama together with our Bishop Ed Bianchi. This conference was one of a kind, with all the 36 pastors from all the states in attendance on Thursday. We also welcomed Pastors from Canada who joined on Friday and Saturday, bumping the attendance to 43.
The Lord was present as evidenced by the spirit of joy and unity among us and we were blessed to have Bishop Washington Rupapa of FIFMI Canada, who shared so powerful deep insights from his vast experience. We were also greatly uplifted by the powerful ministry of the young and dynamic Pastor Shami Mwale from FIFMI Cyprus who also shared passionately and so powerfully too. God once again highly favored us as our father sent Apostle Dr. Steve Simukai who ministered to us in the power of the Holy Spirit and it was an anointed message full of great wisdom, taking us to another dimension as USA pastors.
We had a successful business meeting. The conference ended with a much-anticipated Blessing from our father Apostle Dr. E.H Guti which not only uplifted but reinvigorated our Spirits , as God affirmed through His servant that God wants to do something Big in the USA church. We believe USA will never be the same again, as we continue to push in prayer. We bless the Lord God of Ezekiel who is doing great things amongst us. Amen.
The first ever online prayer retreat was hosted online in Sydney, NSW, Australia from Friday 25 April to Saturday 26 April. In attendance were 4 pastors; our overseer and our Bishop whilst our guest speaker was the National Administrator Rev Emily Marango. Attendance was very encouraging we had 59 Logins on Friday and 60 Logins on Saturday (Please note in some rare instances one log in represented 2/3 attendees.
On Friday night we had a mighty move of the Holy Spirit as our speaker ministered powerfully and encouraged us to be prayerful and to make our lives right before the Lord. We were taught to pray strong prayers in order to achieve breakthroughs in our lives, marriages and for our children. We continued in prayer till early hours of the morning. Though we were all in different places it was very evident there was a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during the prayer session.
Saturday started with hourly prayer bands from 6am-12pm followed by discussions with 2 of our local elders highly qualified and experienced in Mental health (to help ladies navigate their new reality with a sober mind and hope) and Early learning Education (most of the schools have been closed and homeschooling is in place).
We then received a word of encouragement from our speaker encouraging us to minister in the house of the Lord, to our pastors, the church, to one another as a family in Christ and to our own biological families. We want to thank the God of our father Ezekiel for His faithfulness and that He has no limitation to touch lives even as we met remotely. We were revived and a sweet spirit prevailed after the retreat it was hard to log off as we felt like we wanted to continue to fellowship together as ladies. We praise God for a time of revival and great encouragement.

  6. Thanking God for your nation.
A reminder of part of the Ten days prayer letter:
We won’t lose people in the time of spiritual dryness when the Love of God is full in the church. Be not afraid when you see the ungodly coming to your fellowship. Wherever there is eating it invites even wrong people. When Jesus saw wrong people coming He warned the disciples.
Luke 12:1-5 "In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!"
People do not stay in church because of anointing only and preaching, but because of the love of God in the church. The key is the Love of God. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love". Continue in the teaching of FIF, fellowshipping, eating together and in prayer. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
