Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 17

Dear Friends
From humble beginnings under a gum tree to 150 nations and states after 60 years, this is nothing but the grace of God. This week we celebrate 60 years of advancing the kingdom of God - Diamond Jubilee. God has been faithful and continues to be faithful to the covenant He made with His servant Ezekiel many years ago. Although in lockdown, we will still celebrate this milestone in our homes giving glory to God for “no man can do these things unless God is with Him”. We also want to thank God as Baba celebrates his 97th birthday and 72 years of non-stop preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ! This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.
We thank God for another powerful international Sunday. Once again ZAOGA FIFMI was united and we received a powerful word of encouragement from Pst Daniel Makuwere (UK Admin). Several thousands of viewers watched on Ezekiel TV in their homes (Africa), many thousands on our websites and, while 23 100 watched via Facebook and YouTube with 41100 engagements. The new broadcast on Ezekiel Radio station had 101 listeners. Many people from around the globe were healed and delivered through the word and others blessed and strengthened by the power of the word. This has brought the global family together. People felt encouraged as the lockdown continues. Some of the testimonies include someone who was about to commit suicide but after the word of prophecy the person now has hope in the Lord. Glory to God.
We want to thank God for this week as the pastoral team continues to make a strong one on one follow up on all believers strengthening and encouraging by giving them scriptures online and also praying for them, we have witnessed healing and restoration taking place in few individuals to God be the glory. One woman gave her life to the Lord during the counselling sessions. We thank God as we see these sessions changing lives. Families continue to meet for prayers. We give glory God for such a powerful international big Sunday that is indeed giving hope to the believers. Continue to pray for those who come to Lord that they stay.
We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for being faithful in our nation as the number of people is increasing on our online services. This is through testimonies which the believers are giving to their friends and relatives. As we continue with our midweek services we had a very good interactive Bible study as people are getting used to online service. Friday we had a powerful service and the preacher was Pastor Masimba Vilika from USA. After the preaching people were overwhelmed with joy they tool time to thank the pastor for allowing God to use him as he was still online. We continue to thank the Servant and Apostle Dr. Ezekiel Guti for the International Sunday services people were blessed such that some who were losing hope about the situation were rejuvenated again. We are seeing the power of God as many people from other churches are joining to watch the international Sunday Services. As we end we want to wish our father the Apostle and servant of God a Happy Birthday and also to say to the ZAOGA Forward in Faith family a happy 60th Anniversary of God grace. Thank you for your prayers as you keep on praying for our nation.
We give thanks to the God of our Father Ezekiel for his goodness and mercy that endures forever. On Thursday, the worship team had a Worship Seminar and the guest speaker was Pastor Faith Sande, the National Worship Leader( UK). The teaching was powerful. It was indeed a learning experience for the team. Friday, we had an awesome service called: The Word Feast Day. Where we had our own conference with different speakers from the Leaders ministering the word. Sunday Service was spectacular. We had a great time in the presence of God. There were powerful testimonies of God's miraculous provision in the lives of believers. A brother testified of how he did not have money and God through a friend provided a carpentry job and he got paid well and was also able to bless his friend. We had the privilege to hear the Word from the National Administrator (UK), Pst Daniel Makuwere. Indeed the Word was so powerful so much so that believers could not help but express themselves in amazement! Many received healing and deliverance from depression, stress and fear during the altar call. We were truly blessed by the Word. We are also coming together and helping those who are in need in our midst. We also thank you for your Prayers.
All Glory and honour to the God of our Father. We had a wonderful three days leadership conference under the theme: Going back to the basics. The speakers were used by God mightily as they taught the word of God, moulding leaders and grounding us to the foundation of Forward In Faith. Ladies managed to have their Tuesday ladies prayer meeting with pastor Debra as the guest speaker. During testimony one sister testified about a promotion which was to take place a few months ago but had many challenges but after asking our Pastors to help her pray saw God move in a matter of day with full confirmation of the job and a back pay of eight months’ salary at a higher rate. What a God we serve, Glory Hallelujah! This week we have our Anniversary celebrations and to celebrate we will have 3 days of Special Speakers to bless us during our celebrations. All are invited to join us. We continue to praise our God who has kept us during this time of Covid-19 and Lockdown.
On Monday Prayer we had a total of 39 with 29 Adults and 10 Children. With our lockdown and social distancing one good thing is we have seen families coming together in prayer and even neighbours as we have seen with Deacon Lucien in St.Marten bringing together neighbours to his prayer group. Our members have testified of seeing the goodness of God in these difficult times. One member testified of no longer being able to work but God miraculously provided her with food and some money to get through the lockdown days. Through fervent prayer and breakthroughs some members were able to pay tithes for the first time in a month with hardly any business performing or people working due to the pandemic. Elder Paul from South Africa delivered a powerful discussion to the ladies on Making Your Business work in today’s challenges. Out of this exercise the Ladies were moved to start a Ministry - NCBF - Nevis Christian Business Fellowship. Sunday's worship Pastor Chris and Sessie delivered a powerful word ‘The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength’. We continue to pray for everyone during these tough times.
We give thanks to the God of our father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti for his continued protection. Last week was power packed as we heard from our Jamaican Pastors who are currently in Zimbabwe. God mightily used Pastors Dwight and Latoya Steadford and Pastor Lydia Isaacs to remind the Jamaican assemblies to be strong during the pandemic. The Montego Bay assembly joined us for our midweek services and we had over 25 persons in attendance each night. People from USA, Jamaica, South Africa and Zimbabwe tuned in to be a part of this week's service. Here are some of the testimonies:
  • A Deaconess testified that Pastor Latoya encouraged her about true faith in God, so she will be exercising the true bible faith more.
  • An Elder testified that she now understands that when we abide in the Word of God we are able to benefit from the blessings that are in the Kingdom of God.
  • A believer from the USA testified that after Friday’s message she was able to overcome the spirit of unforgiveness as she squashed out an issue last week with a family member.
We thank you for your continued prayers as we remain protected by the God of Ezekiel.
We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti so much for His faithfulness in our province. The women embarked on a daily intercessory prayer 2pm to 3pm for our nation, families, our church members, our frontline workers, leaders in Canada. We also held a life changing Prayer Retreat via Zoom from Thursday April 23 to Saturday April 25th with Saturday recording highest attendance of 51. About 4 ladies joined us from Alberta Province including our Bishop Dr Gertrude. We had chain prayers from Friday to Saturday night. Our Speakers were Pastor Judith Kwaira, Pastor Jackie Chuck and local 2 elders. The women poured out their lives to God and many repented and were transformed and encouraged. In Ontario and Quebec the girls held a Zoom online fellowship with guest speaker Elder Bertha Chiringi from South Africa on Saturday 25 April. Attendance was 28 of these, 3 girls were from Germany and 1 from Switzerland. The girls were taught on having a purpose in life and not to allow anything to derail them but to live God’s purpose in their lives. Later that same day the first Canada National Girls fellowship was held too. The girls testified that their lives were really transformed and felt encouraged. We thank God for His faithfulness. Please continue to pray for us.
We want to thank Our Father and Mother Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti and all the saints for the prayers during this coronavirus pandemic. Surely we have seen and we are still seeing the hand of the of God of Ezekiel. This past week we had a power-packed week of the Word of God and we were honored to have the following speakers; DP Mushangwe, Pastor Christmas, Evangelist K Gwarimbo, Evangelist P Saungweme, Apostle Overseer Msiza and Bishop Zhou. To cap it all, our father Archbishop Ezekiel Guti prayed a special prayer for China and our Mother Dr. Eunor Guti delivered a special message for China. What a privilege we had as China, we had over 100 people tuned in during the 6 days Word feast with some tuning in from other countries like UK, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Russia and UAE. People testified during the services of how God has been providing for them and keeping them during this pandemic. We believe that after the Word preached and the prayer and message from our father and mother, China will not remain the same.
We want to pay tribute to the God of our Father, Apostle E.H Guti for the opportunity that all church leaders in the Middle East had to get empowered through the first ever virtual Leadership conference. The conference was held from the 30th of April to the 2nd of May 2020. We had Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, all in attendance. Speakers included the Secretary General of FIFMI Rev M. Nyambo, Bishop Angelina Chabarwa, Bishop Stanley Masaka, Apostle Kapandura, Dr. Catherine Marurama and Pastor Shami Mwale. We praise God for the seasoned, up-to-the minute and transformative word that came to revitalize the lives of our leaders and for this reason. The attendance was incredible on the last evening we recorded the highest attendance. We glorify God for 30 people who committed their lives to Christ over the conference. In conclusion, we continue to acknowledge and thank the God of our father, Ezekiel Guti for the teachings helped to bridge the gap between the old generation and the 21 first century generation of leaders in our church.
Harare - We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti who has been guiding and protecting us here in Zimbabwe at such a precarious time in the world. The national lockdown that was put in place in March, banning public gatherings has not restrained the sharing of the gospel in the Greater Harare Chapter. The Gracious Women and Husbands Agape Ministry hosted an exceptional online three-day family conference from April 30 to May 2. Running under the theme “Understanding our family roles and the importance of God’s presence in families at such a time as this”, The seminar was broadcast via several WhatsApp groups. Six powerful speakers shared on a variety of subjects on families. These messages managed to reach over 535 individuals with more people still receiving the teachings to date. This has ignited encouraging testimonies of revival and restoration of the family institution. As it was a success the team has also committed to continue with similar online sessions until physical attendance of services resume. Praise the name of the living God.

A reminder of part of the letter written to us in April:
With reference to what is happening in the world today, we don’t have to be afraid. During this year’s ten days of prayer and fasting, we prayed to God to protect us during the year. I want to say to all members of ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries International, do not be afraid. As I have already told you in the ten days letter, that the year 2020 is different from all other years. We need to be strong as never before, because there are things in the spiritual world that I cannot be able to explain except that I encourage everyone to make sure that your relationship with God is right. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
