Apostles Update Week 17

Dear Friends,
Happy 98th Birthday to Baba!
On Sunday 2 May 2021 Chitungwiza Zone SADOP comprising of the five Chitungwiza Provinces hosted a “Meet the Director Big Sunday” at Zengeza 4. Our turn up was very good, with 45 in attendance. The Director came and shared with us. After our service we managed to fellowship with one another. We thank God for enabling us to have a successful service and for continuing to strengthen the spirit of love among us as Pastors’ children.
Overseer Morris Gombakomba (Scotland) shared this Sunday on “The Power of the Word of God”. In his opening he quoted our Father Professor Ezekiel Guti in the book The Integrity the Word where it says that, "when do not believe God’s Word it means we don’t believe God Himself." Salvation, healing, spiritual growth and all our needs are fully supplied in the Word of God. God’s Word is God Himself and it contains power and life. It is our source of everything, our Father always encourages us to feed on the Word of God, it is our spiritual food. The Word has undeniable power so learn to read your Bible and to obey so it can accomplish its purpose in our life. It is like medicine to us, it is like water cleansing us, like fire that refines us, it is like a hammer that breaks hard situations - we need to learn to apply it to our situations. He gave a testimony of when his wife had high blood pressure and how she took the Word and declared it to her condition as though taking medication and her blood pressure normalised. He ended by commanding sickness to leave the children of God in the name of Jesus.
We want to thank God for a blessed week. The God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti continues to keep His church. The country has gone on another lockdown again but the church continues to meet online and getting stronger and stronger. Mid-week services were held with powerful teachings on Discipleship. The pastors taught from the book written by our Father “A Disciplined and Teachable Spirit”. Sunday we had time to listen to the international Sunday service and we were indeed blessed.
The week opened with our Pastors doing home visitations. One a lady was delivered from the spirit of witchcraft after she confessed that she was a member of a witchcraft church. She confessed her sins and asked for prayers that her children may forgive her and accept her back into the family. Then on Thursday a man who had a swollen leg was healed after he received Jesus Christ in his house. Friday attendance was 57 while Sunday's attendance was 62. Our God is an awesome God, for many deliverances took place after our Pastors preached messages from our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti’s book "Respect that brings Godliness" during Bible Study followed by another powerful message on what Jesus accomplished for us. We had 2 who got saved and many lay on the ground as they were slain and set free by the power of God. We also had one child dedication. We want to thank God that the mood for Church Anniversary is already brewing up in the atmosphere in Guyana as we all remember seeing the man of God in our nation in 2019 when FIFMI Church was planted here by our Father himself.
Nevis - Our Sunday worship, though fewer in numbers with 18 Adults and 4 Children was rich in substance and filled with our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti teachings. Bible Study was covered from his book "Two Ways of Knowing God”, where our Father teaches that you either know God through theology or through personal revelation. Believers nodded their heads as they listened intently to this teaching so aptly delivered By Elder Althea. Our Praise and Worship Team did an awesome job in preparing us for the Word by Elder Cheryl who admonition was for us to keep our eyes upon Jesus. Our Pastor Ahmed then dismissed the church. Glory be to God. We give God thanks for what he has done thus far.
Mango Creek - This week was an amazing week. We met as usual for our Monday night prayer and Bible study combined with PGCC the attendance is going up for all our weekly online programs. Our morning Glory at 5am we see the numbers increasing. On Saturday Mango Creek ladies hosted our first Belize National Ladies meeting online it was amazing we had 36 devices connected. Our National Leader Pastor Margaret taught on self -development. Belize ladies will never be the same. Children’s service was great as they were taught on ministering with their substance. Our general service had 11 adults and 4 children. This week 2 people received Jesus Christ and after Pastor Helen taught them that Jesus Christ is the only protection and they were delivered. We also destroyed some protection charms. Some testimonies:
  • One lady thanks God for the ladies meeting that she learnt how to treat her children and grandchildren and love them. She is really thankful for FIF.
  • One Person testified that she sees her ill niece regaining strength daily and she knows it is because of FIF morning glory. She gave God thanks for all He is doing through FIF.
Montego Bay - Praises be to our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us safely through another week. Our Morning glory devotions and evening services continue to get good support as members develop a habit to pray and seek God daily. This Friday we had an extended service so we could have more time to praise and pray. Persons also took this time to confess and pour out even the visitor that joined did so as well. By the end of the night she gave her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. What a mighty God we serve. On Sunday we had a wonderful service with a powerful teaching from Deacon Joshua Dillon. Though we met online we were also able to participate in Holy Communion led by our Overseer BF Mhundwa. There was a joyful and sweet spirit throughout the service. Thank you for always praying for us as we pray for you also.
We hosted our first ever virtual National Deeper Life Conference from the 21st to the 25th of April. The attendance ranged from 2600 delegates in a single session to a peak of over 3500 delegates per session as elders, deacons and pastors were logged on from all over South Africa. Some were gathered at their local churches where they connected as “mini conference” groups. This year’s attendance was the highest ever recorded attendance for a Deeper Life Conference, thanks to the power of technology and expert programing of our SA Ezekiel TV crew. The leaders of FIF South Africa were surely equipped and empowered to take on the work of God as well as being revived in their spirits through the speakers who were all mightily used by God. A variety of topics were covered including Discipleship and Character. We also managed to hold our conference session and official opening online. The evening sessions were dominated by evangelistic speakers, with Evangelist Reuben Guti ministering to the delegates on screen and many sick were healed and the demon-oppressed set free. The Word preached being accompanied by signs and wonders demonstrates that distance is not a barrier to the move of the Holy Spirit. The Conference closed with powerful words of encouragement and a prayer of blessing from our Father, Apostle Ezekiel Guti. We thank the God of Ezekiel for the success of this conference and believe that the church in South Africa will never be the same again. Hallelujah to Jesus!
FIF Namibia had its 3rd Deeper Life Leadership Conference however, this time it was decentralized to four centres due to COVID restrictions. The conferences will run throughout the month of May. Windhoek Central and Southern Provinces started with 200 delegates split into 2 one in the church with a maximum of 100 delegates and outside tent with a capacity of 100 Delegates also. All outside Windhoek assemblies were gathered at their church venue and attending the conference on zoom with others. We also had leaders from outside nations logging in. Bishops S and S Msiza from Zimbabwe were our speakers. Delegates were helped and the default decentralization came as a blessing in disguise as now the conference is going to where the people are resulting in more leaders being reached especially those who were never able to come to Windhoek all the past 3 Years. On the last day of the Conference we witnessed 22 AMFCC part-time students graduating and a charge given by the International AMFCC Part-Time Director Dr. Charles Mbisa. The conference then ended on a high note with a prayer and encouragement from our Father Archbishop Ezekiel Guti.

Many people are born again but they are not good people, they cannot be trusted.
You have to decide to be a good person. I decided to be a good person. Some people are born again, intelligent but have no self-control. To be male or female is not by choice but to be a real man is a choice. Be my disciples. Be moving along with me so God can be glorified. I’m asking you to choose to be a good person. God already bore u again, you are born again but you need to choose to be a good person. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
