Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 18

Dear Friends
HAPPY 59TH ANNIVERSARY ZAOGA FIFMI. We thank God for 59 years of grace. Millions of lives have been touched and changed by this powerful seed of the undiluted word of God. We also continue to celebrate the 96th birthday of our father! Thank you for preserving holiness and now are enjoying God's blessings in this ministry.
Please share what God did during the 59th anniversary celebrations in your churches so we can join you in giving glory to God.
On Wednesday 17 April 2019, Chipinge City District hosted a luncheon at the Chipinge Prison Facility. Elder Mr. & Mrs. Sibangani provided all the food and drinks on behalf of Chipinge City District led by District Pastors A & J Mudukuti. All Pastors and Prison Chaplin Rev Morris Simango graced the occasion. 40 Prison Officers and 460 inmates received lunch and soft drinks. The prisoners were happy because of the opportunity to eat a good dish. Evangelist Mapfumo then ministered the Word of God and 123 inmates gave their lives to Jesus Christ. 54 inmates were later baptised in water. This is all by the grace of God. We are thankful to the God of Ezekiel who opens doors to minister even in prison facilities.
On 5 May 2019, two churches were officially opened in Chipinge City District. The first church which was purchased by the Founder and President of FIF Ministries Apostle E.H. Guti was opened by our Mother, Dr. Eunor Guti. This church was given the name Ezekiel Guti Chapel. It is situated in the city centre. Moments later, the second church was opened by Bishop Nelson Guti and it was named Eunor Guti Revival Center. We thank God for this historic event which saw two churches being officially opened on the same day in Chipinge.
Mothers’ Day at Maranatha Gardens
12 May 2019 the International Mothers’ Day, marked the 2nd annual Mother’s Day Dinner at Maranatha Gardens hosted by our mother Archbishop Eunor Guti. We witnessed ladies coming from all walks of life including Today’s Woman ladies to have quality time of learning and fellowship. Mbuya Dorcas Hospital offered free breast exams, BP checks and sugar (gluco-) checks which was appreciated by several women. What a glamorous event it was with life changing testimonies and relevant teachings to a woman of today. A powerful teaching was given by Dr. Eunor on the importance of relationships as a mother with your children or step children and also with your own mother and mother in law (mother in love). This was followed by a prophetic prayer that was given by our father through a recording and after this there was reconciliation as the ladies hugged, forgave and loved each other. The message and prophetic prayer was so powerful that it left some ladies in tears as forgiveness and restoration of relationships was taking place. We give glory to God for a very refreshing evening.
Abu Dhabi
We thank the God of our Father, E.H Guti for jubilant 59th Anniversary celebrations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With seasoned speakers, Apostle Sebenzile & Overseer Sithabile Msiza from Harare East South Province. The church was strengthened and grounded by the Word as our speakers taught about preserving ancient landmarks which have brought this ministry this far with the undisputed manifestation of the presence of God. The teachings also proved that our father is a true man of God, who has maintained his integrity and consistency, despite the challenges and trials he went through. Through him, God started this church. We had 80 people on the first day, 109 on the second day and 168 on the main and final day of the celebrations. There was great joy as the saints had a barbecue fellowship on the final day of the celebrations. Congratulations ZAOGA FIF ministries international and a joyous happy 96th birthday to our Father, Prof E.H Guti.
Portmore - We give glory to God in allowing us to celebrate with our father his 96th birthday and 59 years of the undiluted Word of God. We thank God for sending his servant and Apostle of God to Jamaica with the seed of Forward in Faith. During the celebrations many people testified how their lives were impacted and transformed because of the God of Ezekiel. We reflected on the history of the church, where it started, where we are now and where we are going, Let us continue to pray for our parents for God to give them many more years.
Montego Bay - Happy 96th birthday to our father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti and a happy 59th anniversary to FIFMI. We had a blessed weekend commemorating the birth of the founder of our church Apostle E. H. Guti and the 59th anniversary of the church. 10 people attended Friday service and 13 people attended Sunday service. One person received the Holy Spirit Baptism evidence by speaking in tongues. One lady gave her life to the Lord on Sunday. Some of the testimonies:
  • An elderly lady testified that since coming to FIFMI her Christian her life has totally changed and she now understands the Bible much better and her prayer life has greatly improved.
  • Many people expressed their happiness to be in FIFMI where the truth is taught and where everyone is given an opportunity to exercise his or her gifts.
  • A young girl who came to church sick on Friday and was prayed for received her instant healing.
Continue to pray for us for spiritual and numerical growth.
Sunday 5th May saw Believers throng to witness the first FIFMI wedding on the island. A white wedding in Nevis is a miracle, we thank you Baba for your teachings. Sunday 12 May’s worship was preceded with an all-night prayer on Friday night where Leaders prayed for the church and our worldwide Family. Sunday was a continuation of praise and thanksgiving blending our Church's Anniversary and Mothers’ Day Celebrations. Our members listened in amazement as our Father's writings on how ZAOGA FIFMI began were read and rejoiced as we sang the Old Songs. Many thanked God for being a part of the FIFMI Family and testified about how they came to FIF and the changes that have been brought about in their lives through Prayer. The Miracle of the day was when one member who had been encouraged repeatedly to come and join the church, decided to give her life to God. All of the Mothers in the church were presented with Roses and Carnations while the Children's Ministry presented a special gift to Pastor Alice. We pray for a continued growth in the church and the soon to be launching of a Youth department. We also continue to pray for a new church bus and a permanent home for our church.
We would like to thank the God of our father for his faithfulness as we are a witnessing a great move of God and exciting things happening in our church. The church is growing. We had a wonderful Friday night prayer, attended by 8 adults and five children. Sunday we were so blessed as it was a special day for us celebrating the FIF Anniversary for the first time in Mauritius. The service was attended by 16 adults and 4 kids and a baby. We had two visitors, one lady from Botswana who promised to make FIF her home, and one Brother from Ghana. There was so much excitement as people shared their journey in FIF. We also had a time to sing old songs, and worship was rich and spiritually charged. We also learned a brief history of the Life of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti through the reading of the Book of History. The Pastor spoke on the importance of the church history and encouraged us to keep reading the books of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti. On the other hand it was sorrowful to bid farewell to our loving Pastors Mr and Mrs Dope, who were our first Pastors here in Mauritius. It’s been a great time having them and we wish them well. We request your prayers towards registration of our church and a suitable venue. We continue to pray for more souls and strengthening of current members. We thank you all for your prayers.
Praise the Lord for what the He is doing in Barbados. Last Tuesday 19 women met for their prayer meeting. The Anniversary Celebrations were well attended. The reading of the history of the church was uplifting. People thanked God for His mercy in sending the Apostles and Servant of God Baba and Mama Guti to Barbados with the incorruptible seed of the Word of God. Over 54 people attended the Sunday service which was concluded by partaking of the Holy Communion.
The God of our Father Ezekiel Guti keeps on doing great work. We had wonderful Anniversary celebrations in Rome. We were visited by Rev Lawrence Vheremu and Pastor Knowledge Vheremu. On Friday 5 people attended prayer. Saturday we had celebrations with 13 adults and 1 child in attendance. Sunday church service 15 Adults and 4 children. We have been blessed to have the vice ambassador with us and after church we had fellowship.
We would like to thank God for allowing us to celebrate our father Apostle E.H.Guti 's 96 birthday together with the church Anniversary - Celebrating 59 years of God's grace. The church history was read by different readers from the blue History book. One lady cried as she was touched by the testimonies of our father on how he suffered, for example when the drunkards were vomiting on him in Marondera. Many people were touched by the authenticity of our father’s testimonies and many testified that this is a true man of God and expressed their gratitude for being allowed to know such remarkable history. Everyone was invited to know Jesus and to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Fellowship involved enjoyment of the Anniversary celebration cake and appreciation of Mothers through presentation of flowers as a form of gratitude for their sacrificial and selfless love. We thank God for walking with our father and giving him wisdom and love to lead, teach, inspire and mentor many. We pray that God continues blessing His servant with more years and good health.
Nashville Tennessee had a great day of jubilation, celebrating our father Dr Ezekiel Guti’s birthday, 59th Anniversary of FIFMI, Mother’s Day, and May Big Day for Talents. Student Pastor Pheim and Elder Steve presented a very informative, interactive, power point presentation of the History of the church. The church was well educated and information retained. Pastor Priscilla was so powerfully used as she delivered the Word such that many people came forward to be prayed for including the 2 visitors. People testified about how they came to Forward in Faith Ministries and how their lives have been impacted since they became part of the church. Pastor Jill helped us to honour mothers by handing out roses to children to present to their mothers. The ladies also honoured Pastor Priscilla and Pastor Jill by presenting them with large gift bags. We had a great time of fellowship and dance after the service. In attendance were 25 people, of which 2 were adult visitors and 7 were children. Tuesday ladies prayer at the mission house was powerful. 14 adults and 7 children attended Friday fellowship held at one of our Deacon’s house. Nashville is growing in the right direction in terms of their love for God. We continue to pray for more souls, deeper commitment and a more permanent place of worship.
We celebrated with the rest of FIFMI family 59 years of God’s grace and also the 96th birthday of our father. Our celebrations began on Friday evening throughout the weekend where we had testimonies from those who were there when baba came to plant this seed of FIF. Many miracles which happened when baba was here marvelled many people and they praised Jesus. Sunday we had 71 adults and 6 children with many dignitaries from embassies in Africa that joined the celebrations in which FIF Malaysia was also celebrating 10 years since the servant of God planted this unique seed in our nation. The deputy ambassador of Zimbabwe and staff were present and the wife of the Ambassador of Zimbabwe testified how FIF has helped the community in Zimbabwe and internationally and thanked baba Guti for preaching Jesus non-stop. We had several countries represented including Kenya, Swaziland, Guinea, Zambia, Tanzania, Malaysia, Botswana, Zimbabwe including one local Malaysian lady who was looking for a church and came early. God is adding more and more people to the church ever since the short term missionary pastors arrived. Praise the Lord.

Matt 15:17-19. 17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
Sometimes the feelings that we feel they make us feel like sinners. The feelings of nature such as lust. Nature comes from the flesh. Nature in itself is not sin but nature becomes sin when I yield to what the nature is saying. When I give myself or give room to the nature to do what it is saying in my body then it becomes sin. But if it is just nature and I don’t yield myself to it, I am not a sinner. We see some people, today they are on fire tomorrow you will see they are down in the valley because of nature that is troubling him then they begin to say, “oh I am a sinner, I think my Jesus has gone out, I’m no longer a child of God”. Your spirit was saved. What is happening in you is in your body and flesh. What is happening in your flesh is normal but it becomes abnormal when you yield or when you do what it says. Nature can trouble you and as long as you say no to it, you are not a sinner. You can even tell nature that I am not flesh, I am spirit and I am born again, I am a child of God and I will not listen to you.….TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
