Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 24

Dear Friends
As we are going into the last weekend of prayer conventions in all the FIFMI churches, we believe we have been having a great time in the presence of God. Don't miss this last weekend to seek and worship God with your brothers and sisters all over the world.
Praise God for the planting of the Church in Guyana by the Servants and Apostles of God our father and mother, Drs. Ezekiel and Eunor Guti. Last Sunday we witnessed more people coming to the service and a new Assembly being opened in the City Centre where one person gave her life to the Lord. During the Golden Groove service which is a 40 minute drive from the city assembly there were 4 new members added. Saturday witnessed 10 ladies meeting for prayer as ladies. Continue thanking God for the church registration in progress and also Overseer Prosper Mutumbwa and Pastor Truth Phiri to continue teaching and grounding the believers.
USA 2019 Leadership Deeper life Conference
We thank God for a very successful, powerful and peaceful Deeper Life Conference. The conference started on Thursday the 20th of June. Leaders flew and a few drove from different States here in the USA. Thursday kicked off with a Pastors meeting and then National Council in the afternoon. About 180 leaders were in attendance with the maximum number of attendance at 230 people on Sunday. Although the Servant and Apostle did not make it because of the work that is in his hands at the moment, we would like to thank him for sending us powerful speakers. The guest speakers were the Deputy Secretary General Drs. Steve and
La-Verne Simukai, Overseers Dan and Rumbie Makuwere, Pastors Enock and Virginia Tigere and Pastor Ethanim Guti.
All speakers were used very outstandingly. There was encouragement in the Word, prophetic healing, and deliverance. On Saturday night the Holy Spirit visited us in a great way and people were still laughing in the Spirit and bubbling in tongues even in the elevators as they went back to their rooms. Sunday we experienced once again the great presence of the Holy Spirit as Dr. Steve ministered and prayed for the people. Three people received Jesus as their Saviour. We were even more blessed that our father Professor Ezekiel H Guti took time to bless us at the end of the conference. The leaders were encouraged, imparted and equipped at the conference. We thank the God for his faithfulness and thank you all for praying for our conference.
We had a powerful week of prayer and fasting with an average attendance of 10 members in midweek evening services. We also had some prophetic messages from the Lord. On Saturday we had time to pray and go through a leadership refresher course learning from our Pastors Dirk and Aquinata de Haas. The teachings were very powerful and transforming learning from the books of our father Apostle Ezekiel H Guti. We also had quality time of braai fellowship after the fast on Saturday. Sunday service was very powerful with an attendance of 25 adults and 7 kids. We received a powerful Word on “Re-digging the Wells”. We had 4 new people who were very happy and indicated that they wanted to come more often. One visitor - a Romanian student received Christ Jesus as his personal Saviour and one member was delivered. We kindly request prayers for more new people to come and that there be personal encounters with God among our believers so they can be more rooted to form a firm foundation for accelerated growth. Thank you for loving and praying for us
St Kitts
We give all the glory and honour to the God of our father Professor E.H Guti. On Sunday the Spirit of healing was among us touching our hearts and souls. The praise and worship pierced through our hearts with songs of healing and trusting God in all circumstances and we also received a powerful Word. Our membership this week was 14 in attendance with one visitor while last Sunday we were 18 adults and 3 children. We ask for your continued prayers as we do the same for you.
Cayman Islands
We thank God as a church for what He is doing in our midst. In this month of prayer we are grateful that we are not left behind. On Friday and Saturday we experienced a mighty visitation during prayer and we are expectant of great breakthroughs in our nation. Our powerful Sunday service had 30 adults and 7 children in attendance.
We want to thank the God of our father for showering us with His presence at the Prayer Retreat organized by the “Go Quickly & Tell together with the “Girls on the Move”. The prayer Retreat started on Friday Afternoon and was held at Charis Camp & Conference Centre in Chilliwack. Evangelist Carol Guti and Pastor Regina Mbizvo ministered to our lives in a powerful way. The presence of God was so thick throughout the retreat and many people were delivered from marine spirits, retrogression, poverty, chronic illnesses, anti-marriage, anti -progress, unforgiveness and many more in every session. Evangelist Carol, under the influence of the Holy Spirit taught about prayer, revisiting the 10 days Letter from the Servant and Apostle of God Professor E.H Guti throughout the prayer retreat focusing more on the theme for this year. She also taught on how to effectively pray for the Servant and Apostle of God using the Word of God. On Saturday afternoon God mightily used her to minister to the married women while Pastor Regina ministered to the single girls which was followed by great deliverance on Saturday night. On Sunday morning during our early morning devotion, the auditorium was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit as we received the oil of joy. There was great joy and laughter as the Holy Spirit ministered to people. The attendance on Friday was 22 and grew to 40 by Sunday. We give glory to God for the prayer retreat we are now refreshed and revived.
Western Australia
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel for two very powerful prayer conventions that we have had in the past two weeks. Firstly we had the Elders Prayer Convention from Thursday 13th June to Saturday 15th June in Perth Western Australia. An average of 40 elders from Perth Metro and Bunbury regions attended the day and evening sessions and earnestly sought the face of God. There was a mighty move of the Holy Spirit and prophesies about the new direction that the church is taking in Western Australia. Our State Overseers Dr. Norman and Nerisa Musekiwa and the regional pastors for Bunbury Pastors Ken and Susan Phiri backed by a team of elders taught the Word of God powerfully. Elders were revived and there was a big breakthrough especially to work talents for the state centre. The deacons also could not be outdone as they received the baton from the Elders and came together for the Deacons Prayer Convention from Thursday 20th June up to Saturday 22nd June in Perth and they averaged 28 in number. Dr Norman explained clearly at the beginning of every prayer convention that it pays to follow the pattern of the church as laid out by the visionary. Demonstrated by the incredible flow of the anointing during prayers, surely it gave us connection, guidance, revelation, deliverance and equipped the leadership to take our state to a new level.
Australia - Victoria
The God of our father Professor E H Guti has done great things for us in Frankston Assembly, Victoria during our powerful revival from 20th to 23rd of June with Evangelists Kudakwashe and Jacqueline Gwarimbo. Attendance rose from 77 people on Thursday to 119 people on Sunday with many visitors attending. The Word of God was accompanied with miracles, signs and wonders. The prophetic flowed as messages were given to several people with amazing accuracy. On Sunday the Evangelist could not preach as we sensed as strong angelic presence among us instead we basked in His presence through praise and worship and many miracles took place.
  • A woman who had stomach problems, where she felt something moving around in her stomach for years was healed completely.
  • Another who had backache for 3 years was also healed
  • Two ladies who had knee problems were also healed.
  • Many people were delivered from evil spirits.
  • A woman who was bound by the spirit of death and a demon of draining the anointing in every church she attended was delivered.
During the revival 17 people gave their lives to Jesus, one received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and 2 were baptized in water. God has done a new thing in Frankston and it is marvelous in our sight.
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel for His goodness and marvelous work. Our Prayer Convention continued this week with powerful prayer sessions. We saw the hand and move of God as His fire and glory came down amongst us even during praise and worship. One gentleman joined our prayer session on Tuesday night. He said he looked up and saw the Forward in Faith Ministry sign above the door and came in and received his healing and deliverance as we prayed for him. He was rejoicing with us by the end of the service. Friday was a night of celebration and rejoicing with 32 people in attendance. We saw the greatness of God in the lives of the believers as they received their breakthroughs. We were also happy to see our beloved Pastors Dr. David and Rev. Florence Simango who are back with us in Barbados. Our Sunday service was spectacular. The testimonies were amazing as believers shared on the wonderful experiences they had during the time of the Convention. We thank God for our visionaries Baba and Amai Guti for planting the seed of Forward in Faith Barbados. Believers are so excited to come to the church services. Thank you for your prayers.
We are brimming with pride and excitement as we prepare for our first ever, Ladies Prayer Retreat, scheduled to be held on July 5th & 6th. Our leaders and members are busy getting the word out throughout the Islands and praying for its success. One member testified that the Bible Study encouraged her to reconfirm her commitment to God. After a stirring Praise and Worship session the Word was delivered by Pastor who promised a continuation from last week. He reminded us that whenever we call on God in prayer without doubting He shows up and people responded to the altar call. Sunday's activities also saw an addition of two Deacons to the leadership Team. There were a total of 29 persons in attendance (22 Adults and 7 Children). We thank God for six wonderful months of Teaching from our Pastors Alice and Newman as we bid them farewell and we pray for journeys mercies as they travel to Zimbabwe. We continue to pray for funding of transportation for our Members to get to church and Pastors to effectively do their Missionary work in our community. We also pray for Apostle Dr. Guti and Mama Guti as they carry out the work of God in birthing new additions to the FIFMI Family across the Caribbean.

Psalm 34:7-14
There’s no lack to those who fear him. When I fear Him, miracles happen, rent comes, school fees is provided and food to eat. I will see God doing miracles because I fear God. God will not leave those who fear Him. God stays close to them.
Those who fear God will not lack anything - says the Lord. We must stay in the fear of God, we will not lack anything. I should have my heart wrapped with the fear of God. V10 says those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
If we can do as this scripture says, seeking God, keeping our tongue from evil, departing from evil and doing good and live as the word says, we will see miracles.
Our tears will be tears of joy and surprise from the Lord. May God help us. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
