Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 26

Dear Friends,
The month of June was wrapped up with yet another powerful International Big Tuesday with Apostle Dr. Eunor Guti pouring her heart to the ladies all over the world. She reminded the Tuesday Prayer Woman that there are benefits for praying for the Apostle and Servant of God. She was dealing with one special benefit of having God in our home. Many times when come together to pray we confess but afterwards when we go home we don’t deal with the things that have caused us to confess such as scolding people, emotional tempers, tantrums. She encouraged listeners to deal with their bad character so as to preserve the presence of God in their homes. Some testimonies:
  • We want to thank God as UK Go-Quickly we were blessed with the Word preached by our mother and there after we went into prayer as a nation. As a people we endeavour to practice what we were taught. Maintaining godliness not only at Tuesday prayer but in our homes.
  • I’m in Johannesburg, I have been having problems with my neck since 2016 and have been to the doctor many times, but I want to thank the God of Ezekiel for locating me. When Apostle Eunor was preaching I was healed.
  • A member in Nevis testified: " I just want to thank God for Mama's teachings. During the Covid 19 Lockdown I have learnt to be silent through the storms and to be a submissive wife because of listening to her teachings.
Double Impact 5 was featuring Bishop Washington Rupapa (Canada) and Bishop Bertha Mangiza (Mozambique). Bishop Rupapa captured the audience with a story of a young man who would not heed the advice of an old man on how to fix his car simply because he was well studied in motor mechanics. Little did he know that the old man was the manufacturer of the car. He hammered home that we need to turn to God and serve Him because He is our creator. Bishop Mangiza followed with “The Power in the Word of God”. She defined Logos as the written word and Rhema as the spoken word, an utterance by a living voice. She emphasised that Rhema is any sound of a voice with the Word of God. Believers the world over are praying that these live broadcasts continue because they are changing lives for the better. The Double Impact series is indeed having a dual impact, those who cannot watch one broadcast because of time difference get to watch the other one more suited to their time zone. Above all, the testimony is that these services are making believers to grow.
We give glory to the God of our father the Servant and Apostle of God Dr. Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness towards us and our nation. This week we had a powerful week of prayer and worship. Our Attendance for Sunday; Children's Church had 9 Children and our Main Service, 5 Adults. After our Deacon preached the Gospel, members gave testimonies of how great God has been towards them:
  • I'm not working due to the pandemic, and I must say from the beginning until now God has always been providing for us ensuring that my bills are paid and there’s food on my table, God has been blessing me in so many ways.
  • I didn't grow up with much love from my mom but coming to this Church I feel the love I never had.
  • I want to thank the God of our Father, for healing my baby after being sick for 2 days. I thank God for keeping my baby.
  • I was praying and asking God for a prayer partner, as I felt like I was drifting away from God a bit, God answered her prayer and sent Deacon Lucien and this Church just in time.
We continue with our weekly events of prayer, Bible Study and Sunday service.
Happy 1st anniversary to Forward ln Faith Trinidad, we thank God for such grace upon our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti from the time the church was planted last year until now the church has been growing stronger and stronger and changing lives in a massive way. Believers are so excited in preparation for the anniversary on the 12th of July seeing restrictions of meeting together have been lifted. Plans are underway despite a limited number being allowed to attend. Testimonies went on during the fellowship and the believers were thanking our father and mother for bringing this seed of FIF to our nation. Many lives have changed for the better and we look forward to many miracles. On Sunday only a few believers, including 1 new believer managed to come because of too much rain. We also attended the international Sunday service graced by the 2 speakers and we pray we continue to attend these services as they are making us grow. We ask for your prayers that the believers may be grounded in the doctrine of the church.
We give all the glory and honour to God for his faithfulness in our nation. Tuesday ladies had time to listen to the encouraging Word from our mother Dr. Eunor Guti. It was a life changing message to the believers both men and women. Friday One lady testified that the doctor had said to her that she had a growth in her left eye and she was now taking medication but she thanked God after being ministered to by the pastors the same doctor confirmed that the growth is no longer there. We thank God for a very powerful International Sunday as we were encouraged to use the word of God and know that God wants us to serve him fully. Continue praying for our nation and a mission house.
We give God all praise and glory as we continue to see His power in the assembly. Mid-week evangelism programs done by our Pastors were very fruitful with three souls being added to the kingdom of God. Our weekly services attendance is increasing as some of our new members are now attending the evening services at church. Tuesday ladies prayer recapped the Word from our Mother Apostle Eunor Guti by Pastor Vee and followed by powerful prayer. Our Friday corporate prayer was well attended as our new believers joined us for their first night of corporate prayer. Our Sunday service was so reviving with an attendance of 38. The presence of God filled the house as we listened to a powerful message. We had a joyous moment during the service, as our members who were baptized last week received their baptismal certificates, a copy of a New Believer’s guide and a present from the church. We had 5 visitors in the service.
We give glory to God for an awesome Prayer Month. The Messages shared have been powerful and life-changing leaving many of our members grateful to the God of our father who has moved them to a deeper commitment to prayer. Our attendance numbers have been consistently high including Tuesday's Ladies meeting listening to Apostle Eunor Guti's teachings and followed with discussions and some testimonies:
  • One Member testified she is learning how to be patient and not get annoyed with others. Just the teachings from Mama has helped her to deal with a situation and not get hostile
  • One Member shared how she learnt to be quiet and not get upset, talk to God and work through silence. It has also helped her in counselling Young Women and share how to overlook certain things.
To God we give all the praise for Mama's teaching and how they have changed our lives. Sunday many of our members logged on for the International Services while the local online service had the Word delivered by Pastor Taffy Muwhati. We give God all the Glory for the great things he is doing in our members’ lives.
We had a wonderful week praising and thanking God for all that He has done in our midst during the month of prayer and fasting. We heard powerful testimonies of God transforming lives. A believer was delivered from anger, smoking and alcohol. Many others were also delivered from fornication and depression. It was climaxed by having church at the Sanctuary on Sunday for the first time in 3 months. It was a thrilling experience indeed. What a powerful and awesome service. The believers could feel the love. The worship was at another level thanks to our amazing worship team. The Elders, Deacons and every believer that was given a role ministered with an excellent spirit. Our beloved Pastor Newman delivered a powerful message and many received healing and deliverance. We had 5 first time visitors along with 37 adults and 3 children in attendance. We thank you for your prayers.
We thank you for your prayers as we continue to witness the hand of the Lord in our country. We finished our month of prayer on a high note as believers started to experience breakthroughs in restoration of marriages and businesses. People were so blessed as they listened to our father’s recorded declaration in prayer indeed we will never be the same.
Belize City - We also had a good service where a sweet spirit was flowing and the word was preached with power with 50 people in attendance (10 children 7 youths and 33 adults).
Punta Gorda - After setting the ground for a couple of months doing soul winning, home visitation and online Bible studies and prayer. We're proud to announce the birth of a new FIFMI baby Mango Creek Christian Center (MCCC). We also had a powerful Women's meeting on Zoom where a total of 30 devices logged in. We had a wonderful time with our guest speaker from Trinidad & Tobago Overseer Tendai Nyamahowa who taught in a mighty way and people’s lives were greatly changed. A total of 8 people received Jesus Christ this week; 3 from Punta Gorda and 5 from Mango Creek. We also had 2 water baptisms in MCCC. On Sunday the 5th of July we did a big Sunday to Launch the New assembly in Mango Creek. Attendance was 33 adults, 13 kids and 3 Pastors. Some members from PGCC could not make it so we also streamed our service live on zoom. Please continue to pray for us as we expect a great harvest from both assemblies. Glory to God
We give God thanks for another successful week. On Monday Pastor Power Sibanda spoke to 15 participants in attendance. For Ladies Tuesday prayer, 11 participants were present. Our Wednesday night service saw 20 participants with Overseer Dr. La-Verne Simukai. After her teaching, the believers were stirred and some even decided to increase their target for missions. For our combined Friday service, Evangelist Kudakwashe Gwarimbo (Zim) was joined by 27 believers from Barbados, UK, USA, Malawi and Jamaica After the message a believer from the UK testified that she was going through stress and was having terrible dreams, but as the speaker prayed for those persons she felt touched by the prayer. On Sunday, 29 persons were in attendance. We were blessed with two international speakers, Bishop Washington Rupapa (Canada) and Bishop Bertha Mangiza (Mozambique). We thank you for praying for us.
National- A Youth Advisors Seminar  was held on the 4th of July 2020 led by the Youth Directors Pastors Varipano and the National Youth Coordination.  We had 35 logins on Zoom with Youth Pastors and Advisors from Australia, UAE, UK and Namibia. Our Guest Speakers included Elders Dr. JR and Trish Dadirai and Drs.Tadius and Gwen Mawoko. We also had a discussion session tackling issues such as how to effectively operate the two Youth Groups i.e Youth and Young Adults as well as upholding courtship in today’s youth. We thank the God of our father for such a powerful and enriching Seminar.

  7. Thanking God for your nation.
The prayer that we are talking about is not just ritual prayer, we must seek the spirit of prayer. Jesus prayed so we must also pray. When we have the spirit of prayer in our life, things will happen. Tuesday prayer is for interceding: standing in the gap, between God and the Apostle and Servant of God on account of the work. We need to know the secret of prayer- it is living right with God. As an intercessor you don’t intercede once and then say I have finished. You remain an intercessor in your life as you have dedicated yourself to pray for the work of God due to the burden that you have. Sometimes, since you are living among people, they will do things to you or something will happen that can cause you to be angry. And when you are angry sometimes you don’t take away that anger you stay with it for some time and yet at the same time you are interceding......TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
