Apostles Update Week 28

Dear Friends
Let's continue to celebrate the birth of the new baby FIFMI Nashville, Tennessee USA, Glory to God!
Bulawayo North Province
The Province held a very successful Prayer retreat from the 12th to the 15th of July 2018. People converged at their various Districts and Regions dedicating their special time in praying for the Apostle and Servant of God together with the Maidservant of God. This time, it was not for ladies only but for the entire church. Powerful teachings were given, on how and why we should pray for the servant and the maidservant of God, people were greatly helped, this was shown by the testimonies given throughout the retreat and thereafter. As people engaged in intense prayer and fasting, God spoke in a mighty way.
The prayer retreat was a success in our Province
Bulawayo South Province
We thank the God of our father we really had a wonderful conference. The attendance was satisfactory. The teachings were powerful. Women were delivered from some marital challenges and those with sexual problems (those who don’t enjoy sex) were prayed for. Teachings on various issues that affect women in their everyday lives and the church were given. We give glory to God. We are saying thank you to Baba and Amai for sending Pastor Leticia Nyambo. Your spirit was with us, we felt a thick presence of God especially on Sunday.
Seke 3
We would like to thank the God of our father Prof E.H Guti and Dr. Eunor Guti for a power packed Revival at Region 3 of Seke 3 District hosted by Pastors Norry & Lizah Malongi, with powerful and vibrant speakers evangelist Tapiwa & Nyasha ZIswa.
154 people thronged the regional centre at Trinity Assembly. The place was covered with praises and joy as God was ministering to His people. One family came from as far as Mt Pleasant to be prayed for. Some notable miracles:
  • 20 people were delivered from the spirit of anger
  • 30 people were filled with the Holy Spirit
  • 3 women suffering from leg pains were instantly healed
  • One woman who had a heart problem was healed
  • A lady with side pains was healed

News from around the world
St Kitts
We thank the God of Ezekiel for another wonderful week at St Kitts. The midweek meetings went on well with consistent attendance.
In the Sunday service, people gave testimonies: Firstly one believer was healed and delivered after she was prayed for by the pastors. A spirit of fear had attacked her while at work after a client had spoken with her. She began to have intense pains on the left side of her chest, affecting the mobility of her left hand. After the prayer, she was totally free from both the fear and the pain.
The other believer was grateful to the God of Ezekiel for passing her exams with flying colors. From there she secured a job through the qualifications she had acquired.
Our Sunday service was power packed. Our attendance was 22, being 20 adults and two children. We had two visitors. Thank you for your fervent prayers for us.
A big part of being a child of God is learning how to trust God in ALL situations. This past week has afforded the Leaders in Nevis the opportunity to practice what we have learnt through leading of prayer and Bible study. On Sunday, our Sister church in St.Kitts shared Pastor Silvia Munemo to deliver the word. One Elder testified of the goodness of God in being able to supply all of his needs and its through prayer and a desire to serve God that his prayers were answered and he will be attending the Deeper Life Conference in the UK. One member's repeated requests on behalf of a child who had brain surgery were answered when she reported that the surgery was successful and the child will be returning to Nevis soon. Glory be to God! What a mighty God we serve. Our 20 (including one visitor) members in attendance were stirred to shouts of praise when Pastor Silvia delivered a word on "Kingdom Living". One person gave their heart to the Lord. We pray for God's deliverance and growth in our ladies and men's ministries. Continued prayers are asked for our upcoming Fundraising plans and for those traveling in this vacation season.
Great and marvelous things, the Lord is doing for us here in Barbados. We had a rich leadership seminar with Pastors Chawadya as they were passing through Barbados from Nevis. God used them mightily as they shared with the leadership how they have been growing the work in Nevis. Our leaders were challenged to go to another level, glory to God.
This weekend we experienced the power of God. Saturday Praise and Worship practice took us to another level, the Spirit of the Lord led us into an unplanned time of pouring out and a cleansing of the church. The team members did not want to part ways after practice and so proceeded to the Mission house. Oh there was a great time of fellowship and the Holy Spirit continued to minister to His people and no one wanted to leave.
We had a thrilling Sunday Service where 34 people were in attendance. The move of God was so much, everyone responded to the altar call. 3 people gave their lives to the Lord and after church, we had water baptism. 11 candidates buried the old man in the waters of baptism. It was such a moving experience, help us to thank the God of Ezekiel.
Surely the church is marching on here in Barbados. Remember us in prayer for the Ladies' Luncheon which is coming up this Saturday. God bless you.
Cayman Islands
We give thanks to the God of Ezekiel here in Cayman. Mid-week services are still going on well. Our bible studies are very successful. It was a sweet fellowship in the Holy Ghost on Friday night worship service. This time we attended separately ladies alone, gents alone. We had a wonderful Sunday service with 30 adults and 10 children in attendance, of which 3 were visitors. Two ladies received their healing during the service. Please keep us in your prayers for church growth and for the catching of the FIF vision.
We thank the Lord for a new week. We thank God for meeting more who are responding to flyers or to the good news shared in different places.
Sunday service: Elder Rhona from St Kitts visited while on vacation in Florida. She gave a testimony on how she has been experiencing the goodness of the God of our father since she joined Forward in Faith. She also shared that everything one needs is found in the word of God. Testimonies include:
  • A lady was healed of cancer.
  • God providing for college fees for members and families.
Fellowship after service was sweet. 23 people attended the service, 6 were new. Thank you for the prayers for spiritual and numerical growth.

Children. You can be a wonderful leader or preacher and people falling down but what about home. You only have one life. If you don't fix where you stay it is not good. People can put you on a pedestal but you don't sleep in church, you sleep at home. You have to work hard, cry to God for your children. There's no way you can ignore your children. If your children make someone pregnant or they fall pregnant or if they are on drugs etc, it takes your away dignity. Try your best, seek advice from others. swop and counsel someone’s children while they counsel yours if necessary. Teach not rebuke your kids. Rebuke and teaching is different....TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
