Apostles Update Week 28

Dear Friends

Trinidad & Tobago
We thank the God of our father for bringing the incorruptible seed that is now being enjoyed the world over. Baby Trinidad is fast growing as our father and mother, the Apostles of Jesus Christ continue to lay the apostolic foundation here. This last week Baba and Amai have been working hard grounding the church. Thank you Forward In Faith Ministries International family for your fervent prayers. We have secured a permanent place of worship with the house on top glory to God. This did not happen easy but through a lot of travail and Baba & Amai at times would physically go to view the places which are mostly upstairs with no lift. We’re believing the God of Ezekiel for provision of chairs and pulpit at the centre. On Wednesday our mother drove with the team into the deep area of that dangerous community to launch bible study. They returned after they had been informed that the area had been sealed by the police because of some gun shots. Thursday service went on smoothly with 9 locals in attendance and Friday had 11 locals in attendance. Some of the testimonies include:
  • A man testified that he wanted to commit suicide because life had no meaning to him as he had lost his marriage and family, living a destitute life but when he got the word of God from our father he changed his mind. Now he has changed completely and appreciating our father for coming with such a living word to Trinidad.
  • A lady had lost her business but after counselling from our father and mother she is seeing changes to her life.
  • A man testified that he was into selling drugs and God has changed him, he is believing God for his son to repent too.
On Sunday our father taught so powerful on sin and families got restored. A new family of five decided to be part of FIFMI family and this came as an answer to our father’s prayers for breakthrough to the east side. We also baptised 3 people, the two other candidates couldn’t come as they were cleaning at the new centre. Thank you all for your prayers, Trinidad & Tobago is on Fire for Jesus. Baba and Amai are grateful to those who have been stirred up by the Lord to carry the burden financially. God bless you abundantly.

Guyana
We want to thank the Lord for what he is doing in Guyana, indeed the seed that was planted by the servant and Apostle of God, Professor E.H Guti, is continuing to grow. On Thursday we had a great service where people were taught about how to stay free after deliverance. 17 adults and 8 children attended service. Friday the same teaching continued and we saw deliverance taking place accompanied by healing. Attendance was 19 adults and 11 children. Saturday the teaching was on the importance of having home cell groups and 14 people attended. Sunday the teaching was on vision that gives direction and produces faith. We saw a high level of hunger in the people as many received a prophetic word. There was a sweet spirit of fellowship after the service. Attendance was 22 adults and 18 children and two people gave their lives to Christ. Our church was asked to participate next week in worship for what they call Emancipation week. So all churches in the community will be meeting and FIF was asked to lead the worship. Glory to God.

Nashville
Sunday was an inspirational day as the church experienced God's mighty power moving throughout the service. During Bible Study, there was a lot of participation from the church and it was evident the church learnt more about salvation. During testimonies, people shared touching Testimonies from the heart and in tears. One lady testified thanking God for her aunt who has not only been an instrument to bring her to Christ, but has provided her a permanent place to live. Another lady testified about how she came to Christ while in UK and she started encouraging the church to invite people to church so the church can grow. A new member testified how God saved her life from being shot during a recent shooting incident close by. During these and other testimonies people clapped hands glorifying God, as well as standing up to pray at times. The Holy Spirt and power of God took over. Glory to God. In attendance were 24 people of which 10 were children. One new lady committed to become a part of Nashville FIFMI family. We continue to pray for more souls.

Zambia
Zambia witnessed the birth of a new baby assembly at Shimabala which approximately 25km from the city of Lusaka. This follows a three-day crusade by the EGEA crusade Zambia team held at Shamabala primary school grounds from which 87 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. The open air preaching yielded 67 souls whilst the door to door witnessing yielded 25 souls. Some testimonies:
  • A lady who was for a long time, feeling dizzy and not doing anything for the whole year was prayed for and gained strength.
  • A young girl was bound by an evil spirit and feeling something moving in her tummy was prayed for and delivered.
  • A man was prayed for and instantly healed of chest pain.
  • An agricultural sale person was prayed for during the door to door witnessing came back to the crusade venue to testify the goodness of the Lord after she recorded her highest sales the following day.
The Sunday of the crusade week was attended by 15 people who have accepted to be part of the ZAOGA FIF family. We give Glory to God of Ezekiel. It was not easy to convince the school head to allow us to have a place of worship but we thank God who intervened, a place of worship was given and aid for the next two months. As the EGEA crusade Zambia team we are so thankful to God of our father for his grace. We see the example our father always gives us in soul-winning. We recognise our Mother Rev Juliet Musonda for allowing us to do the crusade as well as gracing the Sunday of the crusade to speak to the new church and blessing them.

Nevis
It certainly was a New Season with Fresh Anointing at our Worship on Sunday as members were fed with a dynamic interactive Bible Study on prayer. During an awesome Praise and Worship the Holy Spirit took over with a fresh anointing. The Word was encouraging members to reach the Higher Calling in Christ Jesus and several Members flocked to the altar for prayer and deliverance. We continue to pray for members who are away on vacations, who are sick, who are facing challenges of one kind or the other. We pray for growth in our membership, for the Birthing of New Churches in Guyana and Trinidad, we pray for our Elders assisting with these New Births, we pray for Baba and Mama as they face new challenges and encourage our faith in not giving up.

Cayman Islands
We are overjoyed as people that had left the church are now coming back one by one. On Sunday we had 26 adults and six children. In addition to soul winning we have been teaching on tithing and offerings. We thank God for what He is doing here in the Cayman Islands.

Barbados
It has been a tremendous week of blessings in Forward in Faith Ministry Barbados. Our God is indeed doing great and mighty things in our midst. Our home cell groups continue to grow with much excitement from the believers enjoying studying the Word of God. Friday, we had a powerful service. Our beloved Pastor Florence delivered a powerful message on the Power of Prayer. Many believers responded to the altar call and were delivered and healed. Sunday, there was much rejoicing and there were many powerful testimonies by believers on healing, God providing miraculously, lives being changed to name a few. We also had a heart-warming session of Bible Study shared by our brother Calvert on the topic Grace. Sister Ann followed with the Word on Compassion. Indeed the believers were truly blessed. This was followed by Water Baptism after the service, at Brandon's beach. 9 persons were baptized. This Sunday we had 7 visitors and the church continues to grow with full attendance. Thank you for your prayers.

Madagascar
We thank the God of our father for adding to our team Pastors Parfait and Jinnha Rakotomalala. The church was happy to hear they are in the nation and we need your prayers that God give us accommodation for them at a reasonable price. We thank God who enabled us to paint the church and we need your prayers that God give us leadership and membership with a commitment to the vision of Forward in Faith. We saw people getting delivered after deacon Aymald shared on the topic, Jesus the Strong Foundation. 50 people attended the service, 16 were children and one person visited the church and promised to come again on Sunday.

Australia
We thank our father Apostle E.H Guti for giving us veteran Child Evangelism teacher, Pastor Jestina Gandawa to come to our state. On Friday 5th July she taught powerfully on parenting at the Friday All Night Service. On Sunday 7th July she ministered at Perth Central Assembly where she taught parents on how to raise children in a Godly way and the children were taught on how to live in the fear of God. There was deliverance for parents and children and families were reconciled after her teaching. After that she went on a tour of duty to Zone 2 in the North where she spent the whole week and held services in Karratha, Port Hedland and Broome. This weekend we had a historical and unique PC for Zone 1 where 72 leaders met to deliberate and plan for the work of God and in the evening we had an Evangelistic night where God used Evangelist Kenny Phiri mightily to preach a powerful message and deliver people from demonic oppression, tiredness to serve the Lord and spiritual suffocation. On Sunday 14th July we had our Big Sunday with an attendance of 207 people and God used our Overseers Dr. Norman and Nerisa Musekiwa to teach and preach powerfully on the zeal for God’s house and Talents. The spirit of debts was cut off in the spirit and whole church was inspired by the preaching to work Talents more so that we can raise enough money to buy land for the building of God’s house in Western Australia.

Muzarabani
We praise God for a successful Good News Deliverance Explo 2019 which was held from the 18th to the 21st of July. More than 7000 people attended, 503 people came to Christ, 133 were water baptised with 251 receiving the Holy Spirit for the first time. Two hundred and ninety-six leaders who attended the morning impartation service experienced a reviving moment as they received the spirit of joy and laughter. God used all the speakers in a mighty way as evidenced by the many miracles which were performed from the first to the last day.
Among the many miracles, seven women who were partially blind received their total sight, many others who had given birth by Caesarean Section and had recurrent pain were healed and their operation marks disappeared instantly. Powerful deliverance sessions were held throughout the Explo. Dr Atoria Gudyanga preached on the last day about the Kingdom of God with signs and wonders following. He declared that God had given money and success to Muzarabani and to confirm that declaration, seven people came up to testify that they had seen God pouring money into their hand with others seeing visions of the servant and Apostle of God Dr. E.H Guti together with Dr. Eunor Guti giving money to people. The local member of the House of Assembly, the Chief and the Mbire Rural District Council CEO were in attendance and they also witnessed the distribution of clothes to the Muzarabani church by ZAOGA FIF Ministries after the Sunday service. The Servant and Apostle of God prayed and declared a blessing over the Province. There is joy unspeakable in Muzarabani.

Bulawayo
The Wings of Prayer Region held their 3rd Fire Friday Night of Deliverance and Breakthroughs at their chapel at Eunor Guti Academy, Kingsdale, Bulawayo, on Friday 12th July, with evangelists Trust & Ethel Patana. Wings of Prayer Region, the new name for Queenspark region, was given by the Apostles and Servants of God in December last year. Notable among the people present was a pastor from another ministry, two people from Gwanda who came specifically for the event, two other people from Zvishavane and a lady from Filabusi. The evangelist shared a powerful Word that stirred up the hearts of about 388 strong listeners and let loose an atmosphere of deliverance and breakthroughs. Two people received Christ as their Lord and Saviour and another two came to receive Christ on the following day.

Our Sunday service featured great testimonies, among them were these:
  • A couple whose business had virtually stalled, got a surprise phone call early Saturday morning for a handsomely paying contract. They were requested to begin the work right away.
  • A lady who had suffered from a continuous bleeding problem was healed instantly.
  • Another couple, in a case of suspected food poisoning, suffered severe stomach pains. They were prayed for and healed after much vomiting and they began to praise and thank God for saving their lives.
Numerous other people were healed from different ailments to the glory of God.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

2 Thess 1:1-3 “Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,”
This shows us that our faith grows.
People plant gum trees in rural areas to use for roofing and building but it takes time to grow. A baby takes time to grow. There’s no short cut in the baby growing. This is the same with growing in the Lord. It is a process and has no short cuts.
If you were doing things for people to see you then you will be like a certain mango tree in Malawi that had no fruit so a young boy came and tied a mango to the tree and they said let’s wait for it to get ripe but it died because it was not connected to the tree. Just as a child grows, we also need to grow. We need to grow spiritually not growing old.
When you are still young that’s the time to exercise your gift. When you are old you can do things but it’s not the same. TO BE CONTINUED....God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
