Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 28

Dear Friends,

INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY LIVE BROADCAST
The Double Impact series continues with incredible impact on believers all over the world. Reverend Gift Ranga’s message on “The New Birth/ Salvation” was anchored on the truth that it does not matter what colour you are, it does not matter what position you are in society, it does not matter where you fellowship, you better be very sure that you have experienced this new birth. She also highlighted the Word and the Spirit of God as agents of new birth. At the end she invited people to receive Jesus Christ and in Barbados 5 people received the Lord and 7 re-dedicated their lives to God while in Braeside Zimbabwe, one person also received Christ.
Pastor Tapiwa Runyowa followed with the subject “Where is your Faith? True faith can be revealed in the way we do things and it can be seen. He highlighted the example of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti being fired from work, going into his prayer closet and returning to work the next day and continuing his job as though he was never fired. Now that’s faith in action. Pastor Runyowa ended by commanding the devil to leave God’s people and indeed, he left evidenced by the following testimony:
  • I had a heavy heart and as soon as the man of God prayed I felt a big relief, for the Word said use your faith and it happened. I thank the God of Ezekiel for He is a great physician
4 people in UAE committed their lives to Jesus after the word on Faith. In Guyana people testified after the Word convicted their hearts and without a shadow of doubt people in all the nations where these services are being broadcast are also testifying that the Word is touching their hearts and changing their lives.

ST. MAARTEN
We give glory to the God of our father the servant and Apostle of God, Dr Ezekiel Guti for His Faithfulness towards us and our Nation. This week we saw God growing our church not only spiritually but numerically, members are coming for prayer, Bible study, as if it is Sunday Worship.
Sunday attendance for main service was a total of 20 (9 adults and 11 children) while children’s church had 10. Please continue to pray for the growth of FIFMI St. Maarten and that we will find favor with regards to the building.

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
The Lord has been so faithful to his Servant, Apostle Ezekiel Guti in this nation. The ladies held Tuesday prayer on Zoom which had an attendance of 5. As the anniversary celebrations continued, this Sunday was our first Sunday to meet after the lockdown and believers were so happy to meet at our new venue. During our 1 hour service the Spirit of the Lord moved in our midst in a mighty way. We had an attendance of 13. The joy was unexplainable as our father and mother Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti blessed the church on their 1st anniversary. We could feel the thick presence of God moving in our midst as the Apostles of God spoke. It was so touching as our father spoke on how they suffered in planting the church in Trinidad yet now it has grown and continues to grow. One lady was walking down the road and she couldn’t resist the presence of the Lord such that she had to walk into the building and testified of how the Spirit of the Lord touched her from a distance. The Pastors also shared a power packed message accompanied by uplifting prophecies. The believers fellowshipped after the church services with so much joy. We also thank God for the international Sunday services that continue to touch lives.

GUYANA
We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for being faithful to the family of FIF Guyana. This week we bought furniture for the mission house as we prepare to move out from the apartment to a more suitable place. We thank God that as the Word is being preached all the time many are no longer discouraged with things going on around them. This week we thank God for the Men of integrity service, our men were helped through the messages. We were also blessed by the International Service. We also had time to fellowship as Caribbean Pastors on zoom and we give glory to God for Forward in Faith in the Caribbean. Thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for our nation

ST KITTS
This week was full of activity as most of our believers attended the manual work at church for renovating the new hall to become a children’s church. The children’s church was officially opened on Sunday, therefore our children will now be attending services on their own, glory to God. One Deacon gave a keyboard to be used in the children’s church and another Elder also gave a 42” TV. This week 3 new believers were water baptized and received their baptismal certificates in the Sunday service which had an attendance 35 people, both main service and children’s church. Due the renovations which were taking place at the children’s church, all our weekly services were disturbed, except for the Home Cell groups.

NEVIS
We thank God for our leaders Dr Ezekiel Guti and Dr Eunor Guti who have taught us what prayer can do and how to stay connected to God. Our Prayer groups are getting stronger and strong with an additional all night chain prayer for leaders from Friday 12 midnight to 6am. One testified that as they sang in prayer the Holy Spirit gave them a new song and another felt heat in their body and was healed. Praise the Lord. On Sunday Members listened to the audio sermons which we have on our group forums for the two Sunday International services. Our local services: one on-line had 20 people who listened to one of our former Pastors, Enoch, deliver a powerful Word. Then service at our physical church was attended by 12 adults and 2 Children. We are continuing to pray for people struggling financially through loss of jobs, families who have lost loved ones and God's protection from the Corona Virus and for our own Church building.

BARBADOS
We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for this fruitful week. Morning glory has been refreshing, believers start the day energized, filled with the Spirit of God. Tuesday evening we had a powerful ladies session, with dancing lessons by our Elder Stephanie & health tips for Covid-19 from our Ladies Director Dr. Ann. A powerful message was delivered by our Guest Speaker Pastor Margaret Phiri from Belize. Friday Service, Dr. Richard also delivered a powerful word. International Sunday was a service with a difference. Our church service is at another level, the Elders, Deacons, worship team and each and everyone that was given a role all ministered with an excellent spirit. The Testimonies were amazing. The Guest Speaker Reverend Gift Ranga (Zim) delivered a powerful message on Salvation. The presence of God was so strong many believers received deliverance & healing during the altar call. It is indeed wonderful to be back in the house of God. We thank you for your prayers.

BELIZE
Belize city - We had a great service full of joy and one of the people that drove the Apostles while they were here gave a testimony that touched everyone. She said she thought that she was doing God a favor when the Apostles were here and didn’t realize the favor that God was showing her and now she sees the fruits. The word was preached with power and deliverance took place. Attendance was 35.
The other assembly led by elder Mishael Mushariwa had a great service too with fellowship afterwards. There is a great revival in this assembly as some of the old members have started returning to church. Attendance at this assembly was 22.

As we continue to prepare for working Missions in October 2020, as we learn from our international guest speakers on the importance of working Missions: Monday Elder Simbai Gonye (UK), with 10 participants in attendance; Ladies Tuesday prayer saw 8 participants present. Wednesday Missions Administrator, Pastor Unice Matsikinyire(Zimbabwe) with 10 participants. For our combined Friday service, our guest speaker was the International Missions Director Dr. Dorcas Jaricha (Zimbabwe), who concluded the week powerfully teaching on Missions. 14 participants were in attendance. On Sunday, 23 people were in attendance. During our Sunday service, we had an opportunity to listen to Reverend Gift Ranga who taught powerfully on the topic "The New birth". People had an opportunity to listen to Pastor T. Runyowa after church. One of our Youths testified that since attending the Morning Glory services she has learned how to control her anger. She encouraged those who have anger issues to consult the Pastors, who can provide counselling. Other members also testified of how the teachings on Missions have provoked them to give more because they now have a better understanding. We thank you for praying for us as God's grace continues to abide with us.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

If you are to bless God, be an intercessor as a Tuesday prayer woman. We also need to seek the Holy Spirit who is our helper when we pray because He is the one who knows. As we read in Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." The Holy Spirit is the one who knows what to pray for and how to pray for that thing, so we need to seek Him. He will cause us to be like sea divers so that we go right down and see where the problem for the thing we are praying for is. He will show us the wars that our father is fighting with. And sometimes we’ll find ourselves we are groaning in the Spirit, crying because the Holy Spirit has shown us....TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
