Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 29

Dear Friends
The servant and apostle of God and our mother continued to lay the firm apostolic foundation in Trinidad. We are so excited to tell you that the church is officially registered in TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO. Surely this baby church has been born with much travail and is a bouncing baby. A door was open for the apostles to lay the foundation of this unique seed of FIFMI in Tobago. On Friday our mother lead the delegation to Tobago as our father lifted the rod of God as Moses did. Ex 17:9. “And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.”
Great exploits happened in Tobago, our mother counselling people till late night of Friday. Two people gave their lives to Jesus Christ and were baptised in the night around 10pm. Let’s give glory to this God of Ezekiel Guti whose mercy endureth forever. Apostle Dr. Eunor in the morning just after morning devotion, asked the team to prepare to fly back to Trinidad as there was work to be done. The team was surprised as everyone new that there was no means of transport as flights were said to be full and the only Ferry was late in the evening. A miracle is that upon arrival at the airport the team got a flight back arriving in Trinidad before 10am. Glory to God. On Sunday was the first formal service at the new centre. Our father continued to teach the new church and welcomed evangelist General Overseers Gudyanga. Thank you family for your prayers and support. The Lord has also provided for the chairs and a new pulpit. The attendance on Sunday was 13 adults and 1 child, all locals.
We want to thank the God of our father Ezekiel for what He is doing in the nation of Guyana. On Tuesday our ladies met with Pastor Helen and they launched their prayer meeting. 5 ladies attended and were also taught intensely. Thursday we had our church service and Pastor Victory Makonese taught on water baptism to the 30 people who attended the service (18 adult and 12 children). The teaching on baptism also continued where 24 people, 11 adults and 15 children attended. Saturday we saw the hand of God in the morning as 9 people were water baptized. In the evening service Pastor Truth Phiri taught on the Holy Spirit. 32 people attended service (20 adults and 12 children) including two visitors of which one gave his life to Christ. Sunday was also powerful we had 3 visitors (a couple and a lady). The couple had had their daughter baptized on Saturday and it was an honour to see them in church on Sunday. The word of God was delivered powerfully by Pastor Prosper Mutumbwa. The church was blessed and after service one of the three visitors declared Forward in Faith church to be his church. 36 people attended service (22 adults and 14 children)
The Good News Deliverance Explo 2019 invaded Kwekwe with the Kingdom of God from 25 -28 July. More than 8500 people attended the life changing Explo. 414 souls were saved, 104 were water baptised and 168 received the Holy Spirit for the first time. The Provincial Women's Big Thursday was attended by 1126 women. Rev. Anna Moyounotsva taught about the ‘importance of reading and practicing the Word of God’ according to Apostle Guti's teaching. The message was prophetic and it revolved around shunning adultery and the unholy use of social media. Many women were delivered from evil spirits. People received their sight, 16 women who had operation scars received new skin. The main part of the Explo saw God performing miracles through the evangelists who preached. Many people were delivered and healed from different spirits and ailments. The leadership impartation service was well attended, the spirit of joy and laughter swept the room and leaders were revived. We received a word of knowledge that, 'If you take heed to what my Servant teaches, the challenges of the nation will not overwhelm you'. The Apostle of God Dr E.H Guti prayed over the phone for the leaders and for the success of the Province to the jubilation of all.
We thank the God of our father Professor E.H. Guti, who afforded us the opportunity to have a prayer retreat in Marondera Province from Sunday 14 to Tuesday 16 July 2019. There was a great attendance as the church was filled up to the brim with men, women and children. We had a powerful speaker, Evangelist Edith Christmas. Indeed the spirit of our father and mother was upon her throughout the conference as lives were transformed by her powerful teachings. These included power of having a sound and positive mind, having a pure heart, the correct way of giving and importance of connecting with our pastors. After a powerful testimony from one of the elders, on the importance of having a relationship with our pastors; we saw pastors and believers hugging and crying as they were reunited in the spirit. There was a great wave of giving, which saw most ladies even removing their shoes, clothes, handbags and many other items as they ministered to one another. We concluded the conference with our usual Tuesday prayer meeting were the ladies prayed vehemently for our father and mother. The prayer was followed by powerful testimonies of what transpired during the conference. Here are the testimonies:
  • One lady was healed from leg pains as evangelist was praying.
  • Another lady was delivered from a terrible headache and chest pains
  • A certain lady had an attack whereby she couldn’t even hear any word the speaker was saying, as if she had suddenly gone deaf and as if her head was splitting apart due to a terrible headache, but she was prayed for during the service and was totally delivered.
  • Another lady testified that during the conference, she learnt how to pray for Baba and Amai in a way she has never done before.
Indeed our province will never be the same especially as the retreat came during the month the province is working missions. Thank you for the great vision Baba.
We give glory to the God of our father for the vision of the Revival of the Men of Integrity in the year 2019. Lowveld Province successfully held its first ever Men's Provincial Big Sunday. 600 men gathered from the four corners of the Province. The National Chairman of Men of Integrity (MOI) Overseer G. Musvipa and a team of powerful speakers graced the occasion. The Chairman shared the burden of our father for the Men to rise up and take their place as priests of their homes. He drew his teachings from Baba's books - The Wisemen and Respect that brings Godliness. After his teaching many men came up for revival and cleansing. Other speakers shared on Men's health and Men's finances. MOI Administration structures were taught and put in place. Men of integrity in the Lowveld will never be the same again. Glory be to the God of our father Ezekiel Guti.
19-20 July 2019 Greendale province held a men's and women's conference with the main speakers being Apostles Kapandura and Amai and other seasoned speakers being drawn from the province. Evangelist Mariya shared the word a message focused on breaking the family bondage and the sins of iniquities which are passed on from our forefathers. Men also received teachings on health, family, and businesses while women were taught about self-development, grooming, submission, business, and the girl child. Attendance on Friday night was 245 and on Saturday it was 377 for the two conferences. Saturday night saw some ladies walking away with prizes including handbags, clothes after a modelling show. Sunday 21 July was a ministerial Sunday where all the ministries had teachings relevant to them. The total attendance on Sunday was 1091.
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel for His faithfulness. We have truly seen the hand of God in the lives of the believers in Forward in Faith Barbados. Our services during the week have been great! Tuesday at the Ladies fellowship we had an awesome time in the presence of the Lord. God is indeed answering our prayers. Wednesday, the home cell groups came together at church for Bible Study. It was a wonderful re-union with our beloved Pastor David as the facilitator. Every group shared what they have learnt at the end of the first quarter. Friday Service was well attended with a powerful prayer session led by our Elder Sherry Ann. Concluded by a great sermon by Elder Betty that indeed blessed the believers. Sunday Service was a service with a difference. Powerful worship, amazing testimonies of healing, God's divine intervention and provision. We now have a Forward in Faith Dance Ministry Barbados! They were on fire! Our beloved Pastor David Simango concluded the service with a powerful message that led believers to repentance. We had 6 new visitors. We give God all the glory and honour for the great things he has done. Thank you very much for your prayers.
Following our first-ever Prayer Retreat, the amazing revelations and teachings on prayer continue to touch each and every person who attended the retreat. Our Bible study was a continuation of the same subject drawing from the book Sunday Morning Bible Study by Professor E.H Guti with a focus on thanksgiving and supplication. Several members shared how prayer has made a great difference in their lives. Another member, 80 years old, thanked God for giving her long life thus far. This was followed by a dynamic and powerful praise and worship where the Holy Spirit's visitation was so visible as members worshipped God on their knees and in tears. We continue to pray for our own lives, a family member who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, our Newborns in our Sister Caribbean islands and growth in our church.
We want to thank God for giving us grace as we work towards building our National Convention Centre and on Sunday we had our first Talents big day. People were excited to share testimonies of how working talents has changed their lives. Here are some of them:
  • One member testified that she was timid to participate in talents because she did not know what to do. She decided to try selling snacks and started with one bag. She prayerfully continued selling and experienced an increase demand for her goods. She has also gained more confidence because of this .
  • Another person testified that she did not want to work talents because of pride. Eventually she started and now enjoys working with a humble and sweet spirit.
  • A male member testified how he works talents so he can give to God
There was much celebration as we not only exceeded the target set for the half year but we exceeded the target for the entire year. God is a miracle working God.
There were 15 adults and 11 children in attendance. Pastor Lisa encouraged everyone to continue being obedient to the vision of working Talents that was given to our father Ezekiel so we can experience the blessings of the Lord. Thank you for always praying for us.
Montego Bay
The Assembly continues to meet every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This Sunday the church was blessed to receive a powerful word of encouragement from Overseer Tina Mashushire from Cayman Island. She taught on believing on the word of God in order to have great faith. People who are working talents for our National Centre were able to give their money since it was our first ever talents big day. There was great joy as people gave for a good cause. 13 people attended the Sunday Service. Deacon Nobu from FIFMI Chicago USA encouraged people to work talents.
What an exceptionally illustrious Sunday following the just held Youth Conference, it was a Youth Sunday. The entire service was led by our youth and young adults. Bible study was very interactive, using the new technology internet's bible game. Pastor Pheim gave a powerful word, derived from the theme of the Youth Conference. The whole service was like a revival. One single homeless lady gave her life to Christ at the Tuesday Prayer. Ever since Tuesday, different positive things have been happening in her life. She has four children. Her life is already on the way to recovery. On Sunday attendance was twenty six people of which 8 were children. We continue to pray for more souls.
This weekend saw a great conference with Bishop Drs W. & G. Rupapa and Pastor Dirk De Haas. The conference had an attendance of 192 on Friday night rising to 368 on Sunday. A total of 41 advisors had a great training on a Saturday night. Great deliverance and Holy Spirit baptism was witnessed in a mighty way. Testimonies in and out of church revealed how effective the teachings were. The conference ended with a blessing from the Apostle and Servant of God.
Tlokweng District in Gaborone under Pastor Rabakane, have started to build the church on a 2.9 Hectares plot, the biggest plot FIF has in Botswana. The toilets are almost complete and we are expecting to start the main Church structure in 2 weeks. Thank you for your prayers as we undertake this project.
Antananarivo - We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel H Guti for the time we have Pastor Parfait and Pastor Jhinna. People were being blessed with powerful teachings and preaching. On Friday night, 12 local people attended prayer. On Sunday attendance was 53 people with 1 visitor. A powerful Word about the History of ZAOGA FIF Church was shared. 9 people received Jesus Christ and 2 children were dedicated to the Lord. 4 new cell groups have started this week. Three quarters of our believers are now working and faithfully giving their tithes. We had the following testimonies:
  • Some people testified about the power of giving tithes and ministering to the pastor.
  • One lady who was demon possessed got delivered.
  • One lady testified that she suffered from insomnia and would shiver. She depended on drugs every night, but for days after being prayed for she has not taken drugs and can now sleep.
Continue to pray for us to get a bigger church venue.
We would like to thank the God of our father Ezekiel Guti for what He is continuing to do in Nigeria. Indeed there are many testimonies as the seed of Forward in Faith is affecting the locals. We are happy to report the birth of the third assembly in Nigeria at Konefewo-Ojuere (Ogun state)
Midweek activities were attended. Women's Tuesday prayer was successfully attended. On Sunday there was an attendance of 44 people including children. Powerful teachings on talents are being taught every Sunday and people are catching up with the vision that we are an slef-supporting church. The main service was very powerful, elder Caleb Chirimunjiri taught on giving. People received the teaching with joy and there is much improvement in giving.
Konefewo (Ojuere)
There was a revival from Friday (26th of July to the 28th of July) towards the official opening of a new assembly. Many miracles and wonders happened. People were healed and delivered.
On Friday a total number of 40 people (17 children and 23 adults). Saturday had 51 people in attendance (20 children and 31 adults) and 14 people gave their lives to Jesus. On Sunday Sango assembly came to support the revival and the attendance was 71 people (50 adults and 21 children). We thank God that a total number of 21 people gave their lives to Jesus from Friday to Sunday and became members of Forward in Faith family. May the God of our father be praised for all what he is doing in Nigeria - great things are promising.
Thank you for your prayers. Nigeria is marching on-Forward ever.
We thank the God of Ezekiel Guti for a power packed National youth conference in Sydney, Australia from the 18th-21st July. The weeks leading up to the conference were filled with fasting and praying for the Servant and Apostles of God Drs Ezekiel and Eunor Guti, which was to determine what was to come at this life changing conference.
Right from the opening night we saw the hand of God as the praise and worship team ushered us into the presence of God. The Holy Spirit filled the church through worship, many had to be carried back to their seats.
Evangelist William Chirowera was this conference's main guest speaker. He spoke on the importance of honouring our father Apostle E.H. Guti as the one whom God trusted to lead us in this ministry. There was a thick presence of God as the youth were prayed for to receive impartation of the spirit of God that it is our father Apostle EH Guti - which is a fulfillment of the prayer of our father concerning this generation's youth.
Friday evening, we saw the favour of God as Evangelist and Prophet Kuda Gwarimbo shared a power packed word. The following Saturday morning Pastor Jackie Gwarimbo shared a message on the Kingdom of God and being used by God. During the altar call we saw 78 youth who gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Right after we had a great and mighty Holy Spirit visitation that saw youths prophesying and seeing visions as it says in Acts 2:17. There were many prophetic including that this is the generation that God has chosen to use for His glory. As the conference was ending the National Director of the Youth Ministry prophesied that he could see God releasing millions into the hands of the youth for the work of God.
In addition to the heavy presence of the Holy Spirit, there were many workshops, activities and games that made this conference one to remember. The testimonies that followed were ones full of breakthrough and we witnessed the seed of ZAOGA get planted in many young hearts that are ready to sit at the feet of the Apostle expectant of a double portion. We thank the God of our father Ezekiel.
We praise God. Since we found a new church venue in a residential suburb where there are predominantly Argentineans, we began sending out fliers and witnessing to some so that they could come and join us. We then held a special Sunday which we were 35 in attendance. Pastor Graham preached powerfully on how God anointed Jesus with the power to heal and to save. The only person from that community who attended pledged to continue coming to fellowship with us and one couple gave their lives to Jesus and became members. The husband was suffering from Colon cancer and he was prayed for. We believe the prayer of Faith healed him.
God also gave us a family who we met back in April one day in a train. They said, God showed them a long time ago that they were going to meet pastors from Africa who they would help and God would bless them. Since then, they have been working with us and contributing to the things in church like they are members. They are bridging the gap between Argentineans and us. They are Edgardo Fabricio Sosa and Silvia Porta. Their family has been a great comfort to us. Help us to pray that we may be relevant to the new community so that we win more locals and to have more musical instruments as Argentineans love music.
Punta Gorda has started having morning Glory at our new venue every morning praying for the work of God and the servants of God. Monday evening prayer we had 5 people in attendance, 3 adults and 2 children. We were taught why we should pray and how often. On Wednesday we had our bible study at the new venue where we were 4 adults, while others met in a home in our Eldrigeville assembly. We also won 2 Souls during our door to door witnessing.
On Sunday we had a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord we had 10 in attendance, 5 adults and 5 children. We had a fellowship after our service where we had delicious pastries and drinks.
Please pray for us as we are now in the rainy season and for some reason it rains extremely hard and long on days of our services, especially on Sundays. Thank you.

2 Thess 1:1-3 “Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,”
I’m an apostle for the work but when there’s no work of an apostle I can do other things - I’m a giver, I’m always thinking what can I do, what can I give. My ministry is a ministry of helping people. What is your ministry when you are not preaching? When you preach, don’t preach things you don’t do. Speak your life. When the seed of the Word of God drops in your spirit, you will grow. You only grow when you are hungry for the things of God, hungry to preach the gospel, hungry to do something.
It’s easy to quote bible but what has it done for you? When you preach will people cry? Sometimes you don’t need to jump, just teach and explain. We can preach same verse but the difference is in the vessel delivering the word. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
