Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 3

Dear Friends

We are grateful to God for the successful graduation of 58 AMFCC (Africa Multination For Christ College) students at the 47th Deeper Life Conference. Among the graduates were a total of 30 international students from Australia, Belize, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Sweden, Tanzania, Tonga, UK, Uganda and USA. Among them were several university graduates, several qualified teachers, nurses, accountants, plumbers, agriculturists and mechanics. All these have been added to God's army in FIFMI.
Another year, 2018 has begun with returning second and third year students and a new group of 80 first year students of which 23 are internationals from Australia, American Samoa, Botswana, Central Africa, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Russia and Zambia.

Norway
God has shown Himself faithful to the prayers of Baba & Amai and all the saints. We are pleased to announce that the church in Norway has been registered. Let’s give glory to God!! He deserves all the praise and we are truly grateful to Him. Let’s pray for a meeting place in a good location at a good price.

Nevis
Following our father’s instructions of counting our blessings and naming them one by one and we continue to see what the Lord has done.
This week has truly been a blessing to FIFMI NEVIS with our efforts to reach out and SAVE OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERSOur members have been reaching out to past members as well as coworkers, neighbors and those who are going through the storms of life. Our Home Bible Study Groups continue to meet on Mondays and Wednesday and this week saw an increase in attendance. Friday’s Prayer session was set aside so members could attend the Candle Light Vigil for two murder victims and since FIFMI NEVIS had been invited to participate in the service, we did just that. It was surely a blessing to minister to a large crowd of hurting family and community members who just needed a word. Elder Tessa led the group as we seized the opportunity to share who FIFMI was and to minister in song “Jesus Comes In the Midst of the Storm.” Families thanked us for sharing and persons showed interest in getting to know us better and visiting with us.
Sunday’s Worship followed in that vein and the Spirit of God showed up among his people with 8 Adults and 5 Children in attendance. We continue to pray for our incoming Pastors and the continuing development of FIFMI NEVIS.
This week:

  1. Thanking God for the Servant and Apostles of God, Prof Ezekiel H. & Dr. Eunor Guti for giving them supernatural strength as they focus on the mandate God has given them for 2018. Thanking God for enabling them to find time to rest after a busy end of year and beginning of year.
  2. Thanking God for the Lighthouse of Mercy project. May God order their steps and give them favor throughout the process. Jeremiah 33:20-21.  Thus says the Lord: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers." Let's pray with the understanding that this same God is faithful to the covenant He made with His servant Ezekiel.
  3. Thanking God for all the pastors being able to implement the things taught at the conference. May there be a huge burden for soul winning, following up of old and new believers, the chain of multiplication, reading the word of God and using it when praying as the word is God's voice and He can not deny His voice.
  4. Thanking God for your nation.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

Luke 5:1 “So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,”
People were pressing to hear the word of God. Where are you pressing yourself - TV, iPad, internet? You can tell by the way someone talks that they don't have the word of God in them.
What does the word do in your life?
1.   Acts 20:32““So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified .”
It gives you an inheritance. People who were nothing but because of receiving the Word of God, they got an inheritance. Inheritance comes as something you never suffered for, in this case Jesus shed His blood for us. Things change once you begin to follow Jesus. You begin to be different from your family which is not in FIFMI. God gives you things so you can look after your family. The Word of God sanctifies your soul so that the inheritance will find room in your life.
Force yourself to hear the Word of God. They were pressing to hear the Word of God not pressing to come and sit. It’s the Word of God that does something in your life. Focus is important; athletes and people who compete in sports spend time practicing and focussing. I found out you can have inheritance from God so I focused on God’s Word and God saw me. The Word of God gives you an inheritance and wisdom. Learn to write notes in church it will help you after the service a you go over the teaching. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
