Dear Friends

We praise God for a powerful start to the week. On Monday, Baba & Amai visited and spoke to the students at AMFCC. This was followed by Baba laying hands on every student. What a way to start off the new year at AMFCC! Glory to God. We look forward to more activities happening this week. Never underestimate the power of your prayers as Baba & Amai continue to work.

This is what God is doing through your prayers:

St Kitts & Nevis
This past week was a week of continued growth in the church and its structure in Nevis and St.Kitts.
St. Kitts held a good service on Sunday with 7 local adults and 2 children. We trust by the end of this week St. Kitts will be able to have meetings during the week as the Mission house becomes available and all the furniture has been bought.
In Nevis: On Monday prayer there were 4 local adults in attendance and 4 local adults for the Wednesday Bible Study. Pastor Steve, Pastor Gilbert and Deaconess Tessa travelled to St.Kitts where they met with Landlords to secure first months rental on the Mission house as well as securing the Fellowship Hall for FIFMI St.Kitts. On Friday 5 people attended the service. On Saturday the leaders had a fruitful meeting and fellowship at the Mission house.
Sunday service had 11 local adults 3 children in attendance and this included three people who had visited the church a while back. Pastor Tracy conducted Bible Study with a continued focus on Prayer
Testimonies were given by Deacon Desmond and Deaconess Tessa used the past weeks accomplishments of the church building in St.Kitts and Nevis as a Testimony to how God works. A powerful sermon was delivered by Pastor Gilbert. The integrity of God’s Word was discussed and he stressed we cannot alter the word of God but the Word can change us.  Pastor Gilbert declared “THIS IS YOUR SEASON, GOD HAS CHOSEN YOU TO BE HERE.”  Deliverance took place as people were prayed for. The service ended with prayer and fellowship.

Barbados
We thank you for your prayers.  Surely we are seeing the mighty hand of God.  We had a powerful weekend of Revival.  On Friday night, Evangelist  Harold Phillips and Pastor Jaqui Chuck both delivered powerful messages on Deliverance.  There was a great move of God, resulting in people being set free.  On Saturday, Pastor Emmanuel and Pastor Samaris preached powerfully, with prophecy taking place.  Pastor Chuck and Evangelist Phillips had an opportunity to preach on one of our local Christian Radio Stations. As a result of the preaching on the radio, we had new visitors!  The team also took to the streets for one on one street evangelism.
During the Sunday Service, there was such a sweet presence of God.  Pastor Chuck delivered a profound message about The Parable of the Sower and the importance of having a heart that can bear good fruit. The  church was truly blessed and enriched.  2 people surrendered their lives to the Lord. This weekend, a total of 5 people received Christ or rededicated their lives.  Glory be to God!
Attendance for the week was: Monday Prayer 3 local adults, Wednesday Bible Study 6 local adults,
Friday Night Prayer 13 local adult, Saturday Service 9 local adults and Sunday Morning Service 21 local adults and 5 children. We continue trusting God for our church registration.

Belize
We had a very special big Sunday this weekend as it was the first big Sunday for the year 2017. We had an awesome attendance of 97 people, 65 adults and 32 children. 2 people rededicated their lives to Christ. Our God never ceases to amaze us, our young generation performed a number of items including dancing, singing and poetry. It was great to see the children so dedicated to practice and joyous to participate in the things of God. The pastor spoke a word of Restoration and we saw the hand of God. Thank you for praying for Belize FIF.  Please keep us in your prayers as we are believing God for the opening of new assemblies across the nation

This week:

TEACHING:    PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

1 Kings 17:13-16
And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth.’ ” So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah.”

2 Kings 4:2
So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
2 Kings 4:42-44
Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said, “Give it to the people, that they may eat.” But his servant said, “What? Shall I set this before one hundred men?” He said again, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the LORD: ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’ ” So he set it before them; and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.”

This happened before the time of Jesus.  God is going to use us to do the same things.

Mark 4:24-25
Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.”
“For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.””

This is a different year. Things are going to change.  God is going to bless his people not just pastors. This is the year of having it. If you don’t have anything, if you don’t work talents, even what you think you have will be taken away.  When you work talents, you will have something and more will be given. Some families took money from where they shouldn’t have in order to meet the target. God wants you to put that money back in your savings through working home  talents.  God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
