Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 3

Dear Friends
From January 22-27, 2019 more than 2200 pastors of ZAOGA FIFMI from 54 countries from all over the world, converged at AMFCC, for the 48th annual Deeper Life Conference. For most of the delegates, it was indeed relieving to sail through all the days of that week, with no single report of civil unrest within the areas our delegates were commuting from. Also, it was quite a miracle, that with the fuel crisis prevailing at that time, God sufficiently provided for His own people, as evidenced by the attendance, the number of vehicles in the parking bays and the general smooth flow of the conference. Another miracle was how God strengthened Baba and Amai throughout the week as they taught the Word and met with various people from different nations for administrative purposes. Indeed, God honored the prayers of Baba and Amai and the saints.
The Servant and Apostle, Prof E H Guti, gave stern warnings that pastors should desist from taking the name of God in vain; a practice which is characterized by empty promises of miracles, by preachers. In essence, this was a rebuke on doing away with false prophecy in FIF, as God himself does not like it. Apostle Dr. Eunor reminded us to teach giving the Bible way so people understand and experience the blessing of giving. Several other pastors also gave quite practical teachings on selected doctrinal matters. This 2019 conference, was punctuated by the inclusion of 4 different social Workshop sessions. Nine new male bishops from Zimbabwe, and one from Liberia, were also officially ordained. Everyone left recharged and revived. Praise be to the Almighty for the success of this unique conference.
At Nashville Tennessee FIFMI we had a great week and a great service on Sunday. We were happy to welcome a young family of four. They received Jesus as their personal Savior, they came to church and have already decided to become a part of our church family. We also welcomed another young man who promised to come back next Sunday.
A believer shared a powerful testimony of God’s provision. She had a week’s rent paid for at the motel where she lives with her two sons at a time when it was cold and unbearable for them to go sell artwork to get rent money.
Nashville Tennessee FIFMI, continues to pray for more souls and commitment of current members.
Glory Hallelujah. The Lord is truly Mighty and working among us. The presence of the Holy Spirit was ushered in among us during our Praise and Worship. Everyone was on their feet with hands lifted high giving honor and glory to God. Even the toddlers joined in our Praise and worship singing at the top of their voices. We thank the God of Ezekiel Guti who is truly Awesome.  We had a total of 17 persons amongst us on Sunday (14 adults and 3 children.) One visitor stood up and testified how happy he was to be in the house of God and promised to be back next week with his children. We also had a member return to the church. Join with us as we shout HALLELUJAH! to the God of Ezekiel Guti. Continue to pray for us here in the St. Kitts assembly as we do the same for you.
We thank the God of Ezekiel for the wonderful works He is doing in Forward in Faith Barbados. For His continual presence in our midst in such a powerful way as we feast on the theme for this year.
On Sunday many testimonies were shared on God's faithfulness in looking after His own. Praise and Worship was powerful as it has reached another level. It was an awesome Sunday. Believers continued to worship even after church had come to an end. Attendance was 41.
Thank you for praying for us as we pray for you.

I John 3:9 “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
One born of God doesn’t sin because the seed in you changed your life. You are born of the Word and the Spirit. I can be tempted by the flesh but I cannot sin or yield to the flesh because the seed in me refuses. When you do sin that seed in you causes you to confess that you’ve done something wrong. Others wait for someone to confront them and they argue and challenge yet inside they know it happened.
Conviction can happen for while and as long as you ignore it, the conviction will hide and be quiet but you are still wrong. It doesn’t mean you’ve been made holy. It hides like logs and debris along the bank of the river until the big river becomes smaller. You keep telling lies. When a conscience is seared, you continue to sin with no feeling of guilt. More stuff comes and makes river smaller and smaller until there’s no more river. As a result Spiritual eyes and ears can no longer hear or see. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
