Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 31

Trinidad & Tobago
We thank you FIFMI family around the globe for your continued prayers and support. The church continues to receive powerful teachings as we build on what our father and mother have already started. Monday prayer, Wednesday bible study and Friday prayers were lit with great teachings on the Kingdom of God and water baptism. The midweek average attendance was 23. Ladies Tuesday prayer was launched and had 5 ladies in attendance who were joined by 3 men who just could not miss out on prayer. Sunday attendance rose to 27, and the place of worship is suddenly becoming small and in need of more chairs. 2 people gave their lives to Christ and 3 made FIFMI their home, one lady testified that this church is unique and gives a family environment, with the wonderful fellowship after church. 5 people were water baptised soon after service. The pick and drop is a typical of Baba Sande Mhandu as in our HISTORY Of ZAOGA FORWARD IN FAITH page 36. The church is full of love and many people from Belmont area are responding to the gospel as baba said in the beginning that the church had come for these people. We pray for more chairs, a bigger van to ferry people as most of them do not drive. The church was blessed by Deacon Brian Cooper’s testimony on how he was overwhelmed by his experience at the UK Deeper Life conference. He told the much expectant congregants that this church is the church of God and how he got encouraged by the message of our mother apostle Eunor Guti on maintaining standards.

Guyana

The Sunday service was attended by a total of 36 people (20 adults including 3 visitors and 16 children. Among the guests one received Jesus Christ, this man lives across the mission house and his coming to church touched a lot of people because he is known in the area. We had a great time, pastor Makonese continued with the teaching on prayer and people were blessed. Also our praise and worship team is developing more and more everyday.
Thank you for your prayers

St. KITTS & NEVIS
The God of Ezekiel reigns forevermore. This Sunday was our BIG SUNDAY and oh what a success it was.  Our sister church out of Nevis came over to be a part of the celebrations and God did show up.  We had a total of 40 persons in attendance.  34 adults and 6 children including 2 visitors. One person gave his life to the Lord, glory be to God. Our Elders from the UK, Elders Precious and Naome Murefu along with their daughters were with us. Elder Naome encouraged us to pray the right way to God in order to see results and get our prayers answered during bible study.  One sister from the Wilson family graced us with her dance entiled "We are raging war on the enemy" Her performance had the entire church on their feet in applause. The worship just ushered in the presence of God while during the word, Elder Precious spoke to us about the life of Nicodemus and how an encounter with Jesus changed his whole life.  Many were prayed for while the God of Ezekiel manifested Himself as many people were prayed for. After church we all sat and had fellowship together. We thank the God of Ezekiel who is still doing great in us. Continue to pray for us in Jesus Name.

Nashville, TN
An especially great Sunday has been experienced at Nashville TN FIFMI. One member who is doing community service testified how God is using her at that place. She is praying for people and preaching the good news, gospel of Jesus Christ.
Another lady also shared how God used her at a senior citizen's 100 year's birthday party. All of a sudden, she was asked to pray for the owner of the birthday.
In attendance were 28 people of which 11 were children.
We had a great time with God during our Friday fellowship. We had 2 visitors who were visiting for the weekend from Chicago.
We continue to pray for more souls and commitment of current ones

Thanks, honour and glory to the God of Ezekiel who is always with us. His faithfulness is forever sure. This week has been a tremendous blessing in the lives of the believers. On Wednesday our Home Bible Study continued with the excitement of the believers to gain more knowledge and understanding of the Word. Friday we had a powerful time of prayer led by Deacon Shonnette. This was followed by an impactful message by Elder Carol titled ‘What are you holding on to?’ The believers were encouraged to let go of the accursed things in their lives and allow God to do His work. On Sunday the reports from the Home Bible Study were truly amazing. As the groups shared On Intercession, Atonement and the New Nature, we saw the connectivity of the topics in the redemption of man through Jesus Christ. The testimonies were awesome. Our Elder Betty shared a powerful message on the ‘Language of Faith’. We were blessed and inspired to declare the Word of God and believe its power in our lives. The believers continue to be excited to come to church. We thank you for your prayers.

USA
The North East Region in the USA had a powerful Prayer shut in weekend with New York/New Jersey Assembly being the host Assembly. Women came from different States within the Region and having driven some for up to 5 hours to come for the shut in. States represented were: Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia, Pennsylvania, Boston, New York/New Jersey. We were blessed to have our Pastors in the Region, Pastor Fu from Boston and the newly assigned Pastors to New York/New Jersey Assembly Pastors Tim and Mercy Smithwick .

Our prayer shut in started off with a bang on Friday with 30 women in attendance. Women came in hungry for an encounter with the Lord and were ready to wrestle with the Lord. We had an opportunity to hear from each woman why they had come.
After a powerful teaching from Pastor Fu on the power of removing the little foxes that spoil the vine, addressing the areas in our lives that hinder or even kill us spiritually, women were delivered from so many infirmities, spirit of unforgiveness, anger, gossip, just to name a few. Women were delivered after the Holy Spirit took over, some were vomiting, falling and crying.

We had time to pray for our father and mother baba & amai Guti.
The number one issue with most women was the issue of children, Pastor Mercy encouraged us to fight and shape the destiny of our children at the shut in. Some needed the fruit of the womb. Several mother’s came forward as a point of contact for their children, who are in various situations, court dates, some being rebellious, drugs, some are away from home.
Women prayed for children to be delivered from generational curses and to serve God. One woman testified that her child had received a text from the Illuminati whilst we were at the shut in, trying to deceive him to join. But glory to God we were at the shut in and prayed against it.

The shut in winded down with a word from Elder Winnie encouraging the ladies not to let the devil steal what they got at the conference. The prayer shut in ended with Pastor Tim thanking and encouraging the women not to let this be a one time encounter only but to continue with future shut ins.

We thank the God of our father that we are continuing to grow as FIF Mauritius. We had a powerful Friday prayer, attended by 11 adults and 3 children. The presence of the Lord was thick as we interceded for the work of God. On Saturday we had a very informative Leadership seminar where our Pastors equipped all leaders on what it means to be a leader and how to be an effective leader. It was so enriching.
Our Sunday service was attended by 35 people (29 adults and 6 children), and the church was full of joy as we received new visitors, two brothers, one from Kenya and another from Zimbabwe. The atmosphere was charged during the service, with an exciting and thought-provoking Bible study, followed by a powerful Praise and Worship session and a life-changing teaching of the Word.
After service, the youth met and had an exciting service with our Pastor. The hosting team also met Pastor Barbara as they were concluding their seminar, which had started the previous Sunday. Glory be to God!
We are very excited as we are seeing the hand of God in Mauritius. Continue standing with us in prayer for our church registration and for many souls to come to Christ.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

If business people stop sleeping with people who are not their wives, God is going to do great things.
Ex 20:7 “Consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.” We should not take the name of the Lord in vain.
After you are born again, the big thing is to control your nature. Some people are so weak in Spirit, they don’t sleep with anyone physically but they are sleeping with someone in the phone. You can’t cheat God. If you do not like it, show God you are fighting it.
People look and check if anyone is looking because they have never seen naked people but you need to show God that you don’t like to look at naked pictures and you are fighting.
Yes, you are not sleeping with someone’s husband, but you send one another pictures. Some have been caught. Why not go for counseling so they can help you?
When you admit you have a problem and you need help, we worship a God who performs miracles, He will set you free. The key is it admit you don’t like it and God will deliver you. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
