Dear Friends

We give praise to God for such powerful general conferences held this past weekend all over Zimbabwe and other FIFMI nations. People were blessed by the speakers. The leaders have been revived and there is a lot of excitement about their work. We thank God for such great teachings.

Madagascar

It is with great joy that we inform you of what the God of our Father is doing here in Madagascar. We are happy to tell you that our Registration Certificate is out, Forward in Faith Ministries International is now  officially registered in Madagascar. The church is moving on. Meanwhile in Fort Dauphin the Lord is adding to our numbers on almost every Sunday and confirming His word through signs and wonders. Plans for the church and mission house are now complete. We are targeting to start to build the house in September and by the grace of God finish it by year end. The assembly in Antananarivo is so excited to have their new pastors. They had a wonderful service this last Sunday with 16 adults and 16 children in attendance. Thank you so much for your prayers and we believe that the God of Ezekiel will take us from glory to glory.

Belize

We had great services in Belize this Sunday. We witnessed great attendance even during the week. During our final day Sunday 15 people attended in the day and 31 in the night. 3 people accepted Christ in the night. At the new assembly 9 people attended the service.
This week:

  1. Pray for the Servant and Apostles of God, Drs Ezekiel & Eunor Guti that God always gives them supernatural strength. Pray for the upcoming trip. May God prosper their mission and give them journey mercies. Pray that God enables them to rest even as they continue to work on a daily basis. Pray for the breakthrough for the visas they need for the other nations God is sending them to in 2014.
  2. Praise God for the success of the General Conferences (Leadership Conferences) in Zimbabwe and other FIFMI nations held this past weekend.
  3. Pray for God to intervene in the Singapore and Argentina church registrations. We need a miracle in Singapore for the meeting that needs to take place to happen and a positive outcome. Our God has never failed us. Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
  4. Pray for the Mbuya Dorcas Hospital final certification that is due in September. Pray against any hindrances in the preparation and processing of this critical certification.
  5. Pray for the SADOP (Sons and Daughters of Prophets – Pastors’ kids) conference to be held at AMFCC from August 29-31, 2014.
  6. Pray for against the spread of the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone. Pray for containment of the disease and a cure to be found..
  7. Pray for the permit for the long-term missionary to Sweden and visas for the team going to Cuba.
  8. Pray for the spiritual eyes of the leaders in ZAOGA FIF to be opened so they don’t miss the things God has given to them through His servant Ezekiel.
  9. Pray for the finances required to build the laboratories at ZEGU for the Agriculture and Science faculties.

    TEACHING:    PART OF AMAI’S MESSAGE:

Acts 20:32  “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
Prayer without the word of God is useless. Fasting day and night without the word does not help. Paul says I commend you to God and the word of grace which is able to give you an inheritance. I need to fast, read the word of God and pray.  The word builds our inner man. The inheritance, our theme for the year is found in the word of the God. The word will restrain me from doing wrong, saying the wrong things or lying. The word will say tell the truth and walk in righteousness. God will be near me and this will cause him to give me the inheritance.  We work home talents through prayer. If we don’t pray the results will be low. Working hard with no results is what happens when there is no prayer. Staying up late but without prayer or reading the word, things don’t move. It is not in working too much but also in reading a lot of the word of God, praying and fasting. We should read the word chapter by chapter and verse by verse. We read 4 chapters if you don’t have enough time to read.
God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
