Apostles Update Week 33

Dear Friends
Greetings from the Holy land. 266 pilgrims entered the Holy Land today after touring Egypt and going through the Exodus like the children of Israel. Oh what favor it is. The bible is really coming alive.
Our midweek services were successful regardless of the Caribbean Festival
(CARIFESTA) show that has been running for the past two weeks every day, drawing a lot of people every night. This also affected our Sunday service attendance but we still had a sizeable number of 16 people attended. We have also found a bigger place of worship which we will start to use this week. As it’s bigger it means we need more chairs which we are believing the God of our father for his provision. There has been some very consistent members who are really committed that they don’t want to miss the bible studies and prayers. One brother had to tell his boss at work that if they cannot release him on the church days he will leave the job to concentrate on the teachings of the kingdom of God. We also need prayers as we are going back to have service or another assembly in Belmont through the advice of our father and mother. That means this week we start to have two assemblies both places are key areas to our father from the time he came to this nation.
On Tuesday 9 ladies met for prayer. We thank the Lord we managed to launch two home cell groups on Wednesday where Group 1 had 9 adults 5 children, a total 14 and Group 2 were 8 adults, 1 visitor 11 children total 20. We are praying for more houses to split the groups even further. All other services for the rest of the week went well.
Sunday had 22 Adults, 1 visitor, 14 Children and Total 37 people in attendance.
3 children were dedicated to the Lord and we had a wonderful teaching by Pastor Truth.
  • A lady who had difficulties in praying after Pastors teaching and deliverance had a very powerful time of worship and warfare that she overcame a trap the devil had set for her and family strongly.
We thank the God of Ezekiel for empowering the Pedro Brand 25 Assembly in Dominican Republic to complete the out door arena in front of the FIFMI church. It was a huge construction, but the hand of God was truly with us to complete it at a third of the normal price. This large space will be used as an overflow area and for outreaches. The Lord is also expanding our territories to win souls for the kingdom, by increasing our presence in the community as a church that gives. After our Sunday service, which was attended by 34 adults and 12 children, we had a Sight for Jesus campaign. People were given the opportunity to have their eyes tested for just $1US by qualified doctors. This service helped many in Pedro Brand that can not afford the very costly consultations. Their prescriptions were also highly discounted. We are also reaching out to the business community, where the pastors have been invited to share the word and pray for all meetings attended by ASOEMCOPEB Business group in Pedro Brand. Thank you for your prayers and we believe God that He will empower us also to complete and purchase the center we are currently renting, very soon.
Indeed we had an awesome week in Barbados. Tuesday, the Leaders had a powerful night of prayer. Wednesday, as usual the home cell bible study groups continue to meet at the various designations and the believers are loving it. Friday night was indeed a night to remember. The glory of God filled the Sanctuary during our prayer and worship session. Believers received their healing and deliverance. Deacon Sylvia delivered a powerful word that blessed and encouraged the believers. Sunday was just so amazing. The Spirit of Joy filled the house. The believers were so happy! We had Bible Study facilitated by our Elder Sherry Ann and believers were encouraged to have the passion for prayer. The Testimonies were inspiring as the believers thanked God for his goodness in their lives. Deacon Caroline encouraged the believers not to worry as God is able to work everything for our good.
Two young men, Sherwin & Derrick gave their lives to the Lord. The believers continue to be blessed and inspired weekly. We thank the God of our father Ezekiel for his goodness and faithfulness.
Thank you for your prayers.
This past weeks activities leading to Sunday's worship signifies the work being done by our Leadership and most significantly the few Men in the Church in prayer and studying of the word. Sunday's worship was ripe with Teachings from Archbishop Guti as our Bible Study Led by our Elder Desmond focused on "the Church and Political Responsibility". This aroused much discussion among or Membership with references from 2nd Chronicles 7:14. He stressed the church should be a blessing for the country, the question of "how do we get the church and the Politicians to come together?'' engendered much discussion. The church should train Leaders to come together - created quite a stirring discussion. Some of our Members testified as to how God is helping them through difficult times and thru those challenges is when we see our growth in God. Our recent focus in Bible Study on "Spiritual warfare" has helped may Members cope with what is happening in their personal life's experiences. Our Praise Team led a powerful Praise and worship into the WORD delivered by Deacon Josias. The Men really stood our Sunday with a riveting service and the timeliness of the topics.
In Nashville TN FIFMI, the joy of the Lord is our strength. People shared very encouraging testimonies, it is evident that God is giving His Children hope and comfort. There was such a spirit of joy as people praised and worshipped God. Elder Steve led a very interactive and engaging Jeopardy style Bible Study. Pastor Priscilla shared a powerful word about the Kingdom of God. She brought the Kingdom of God to life by using very realistic analogies.
In attendance were twenty three people of which seven were children. To the glory of God, one couple who visited last week came back.
We continue to pray for commitment of current members and new souls. We are also praying for a more permanent place of worship.
Zone 1 Family Convention 2019
We would like to thank our father Dr E.H Guti for the vision of Family Conventions. In Western Australia Zone 1 we had a life transforming Family Convention that started from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th August 2019 in Perth.Running under the theme Building God Fearing Families the Conference program was rich and balanced to benefit the families and individuals in many facets of life. Some highlights include the business breakfast, ladies high tea, men’s breakfast, several workshops, a bar-be-que, p and games in the park, and a concert where several teachings dealing everyday life such as business, health, finances and cyberspace were addressed and families had time to bond playing different games.
Sunday service was one of its kind as the Holy Spirit took over right from the start and 46 children were baptised in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. There was reconciliation and restoration in families, 8 parents who were about to give up on their children were revived and reconciled. A total of 274 people including children attended the Sunday service. We want to give glory to the God of Ezekiel for transforming and strengthening our families during this year’s Family Convention. Our families shall never be the same again.
Glory to the God of our father E. H. Guti for another wonderful week of praying and fasting that was declared by our Pastors last Sunday. It was a great week punctuated by the presence of God as the church was praying and meeting at our main church. Our attendance varied from 6 to 13 people. The most encouraging experience was that most new believers were also attending including child evangelism.
Our Pastors were encouraging us through the word of God. Following the declaring of week of fasting and praying, one believer did not go back home from Sunday up to this Sunday, praying everyday in the church. Really, it was great.
This Sunday’s attendance was Adults 12, Youth 13C.E. 40, total 6. There wee 3 new Converts. One lady was delivered.
We thank you for your continued support through your prayers.
All the glory be unto the God of our father, for His goodness that is being seen in the nation of Canada. The nation held its first ever National Youth & Young Adults Conference, in Vancouver, British Columbia, from the 15th to the 18th of August. It was indeed a glorious conference, with the guest speakers, Pastors Masimba & Kudzai Vilika ministering with great unction, concerning the Kingdom of God and taking hold of the dominion that God has given unto us. The co-hosts of the conference, the National Administrators, Overseers Sheddy & Regina Mbizvo taught powerfully about walking uprightly as young people. The conference was very well attended with over 43 young people from across the nation. At this conference, Canada’s first ever national youth committee was instituted. We thank God for our leadership and youth advisors for their prayers and support.

Our Prayer Retreat started with with an attendance of 160 women who thronged the prayer Retreat venue. Powerful devotion which led to the receiving of the word from our Guest speaker mama Secretary General L.Nyambo. Women were taught to let the Holy Spirit take control. Indeed we saw Him at work as ladies poured out their lives into the early hours of the day. After that the women started to pray for our father and mother.
The second day 400 Ladies attended during the evening and in the afternoon session, ladies were encouraged to have a clean heart, sound relationship with God regardless of situations or the environment. Talents and praying for our husbands and children was also taught. That afternoon women were given time to pray for their families and the thick presence of God was noted as Ladies groaned for their children in spirit. Some ladies who had children with special cases were prayed for.
In the evening Elder Jane Takaendesa taught on personal development as a woman such as learn to cook, bath and go to school.
After that ladies were taught by Mama SG on how to pray for baba and amai using scriptures. The last day of the prayer retreat Tuesday we ended up with a powerful bible reading session as Ladies, followed by a powerful intercession for our father and mother Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor and God ministered to His people Glory be to the God of our father for this vision. Women went back home with the joy of the Lord in their hearts having been set free by the God of our father.
We give glory to God of our father for the vision of Today's Woman which brings together women to worship God as the body of Christ. MUTARE PROVINCE ladies hosted a classic High Tea at Mutare Queens Hall on behalf of the Today's Woman on 24 August 2019. We witnessed over 604 women from 26 different churches coming to fellowship together. Bishops, Apostles, Pastors and ministry representatives graced the occasion. The Queens hall was well set for the event. The Programme was lined up with exciting activities and a Local Guest Artist, Raramai Ngwaru, who lit the place with joy with a Today’s’ Women song she composed called (Tosangana ikoko kuToday’s Woman). Pastor Lucy Kawenda from Methodist church was mightily used by God to deliver a life transforming word, the women were refreshed and empowered by the word. To wind up the event tea was served as the ladies were fellowshipping together.

1 Corinthians 5:10-11 “I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner— not even to eat with such a person.”
Mingling with the people who do such things - you know that your friend is a womanizer, why do you still walk with him? Why not separate from that person? Why not find other Christian people with money? If you have chosen that I want God to bless me, then leave them. You know that woman has a boyfriend, why not separate from her? She’s very strong and inviting you all the time, her position causes you to want to be with her…..God bless you
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
