Apostles Update Week 36

Dear Friends
We thank God for yet another week of the blessings of the God of Ezekiel. Our midweek activities had an average attendance of 12 in both San Juan and Belmont Assemblies. The people are so excited about the teachings of the Kingdom of God which is changing their lives both spiritually and physically. Tuesday’s ladies prayer was attended by 7 ladies.
We want to thank our father and mother for the provision of 50 chairs for our centre. Glory be to God. There was so much excitement and a sense of belonging as our believers came to arrange the chairs in our hall. The God of Ezekiel is a good God. On Sunday we had our two powerful services and attendance was as follows: San Juan 22 adults and 3 children. 1 person received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. 6 people made FIF their home. Belmont had 17 adults and one child. Glory to Jesus!
We welcomed Overseer Florence Gudyanga who taught on the importance of Tuesday prayer. Three Home Cell groups managed to attend this Wednesday. Sunday we had 22 adults and 12 children with a total of 34 people including one visitor.
We started the week with visitations with our Overseer to the believers’ homes and one soul was won to Christ. Overseers Gudyanga taught on the Kingdom of God and also on deliverance of the mind. Great deliverance took place. In fulfillment of the vision and desire of the Servant of God, Dr Gudyanga appointed our first Deacons Mr and Mrs Roberts.
  • One lady said for 2 years she had mental symptoms but she started praying refusing the diagnosis, stopped taking the medication and after being prayed for it all disappeared.
  • One lady asked for prayer for her brother who was in prison at Tuesday prayer 3 weeks ago. God is faithful this week she testified that he was released. We praise the God of Ezekiel for His faithfulness.
The God of our father continues to do amazing things through the Holy Spirit and on Sunday the Spirit of God showed up and showed out in our worship and through the delivery of the Bible Study and the Word. The Saints came in hungry for worship and the Worship Team did not disappoint. Elder Judy continued on in Bible Study, from a few weeks ago and interactive participation was at a high never seen before. The Worship Team took the tempo to another level as they prepared the church for the Word delivered by Elder Cheryl who spoke on spiritual bareness. We thank God for His awesomeness.
This week we continue to pray for each other and we encourage members to leave voice notes when not able to reach another member in prayer. We pray for continued efforts in securing a bus for the church, we pray for growth in membership and pray for our Brothers and Sisters suffering through difficult circumstances in the Bahamas and pray for the Eastern Caribbean islands experiencing storms in the heart of the hurricane season.
We had a great Sunday service. Pastor Bruce continued teaching about the Kingdom of God. One member shared a testimony of how God is using her to touch people's lives at the prison. She said she will continue going there to witness for Christ. Pastor Priscilla preached a powerful message taken from the parable of the prodigal son. People started shedding tears while she was preaching and rushed to be prayed for as soon as she was done. In attendance were 18 people of which 6 were children. We continue to pray and seek more souls while praying for commitment of current members.
Miami for Jesus! We thank God for the events of bible study and Friday prayer which went well. We thank God for taking Friday prayer onto another level. Thanksgiving, praise, intercession, travailing, warfare and revival prayers are being offered onto the Lord.
Sunday was full of joy and excitement. We basked in the presence of the Lord during worship. Glory to God! It was good to see another couple after a little while. The attendance was 22 adults and 3 children. A mother dedicated her child to the Lord. Glory to God the child now belongs to the Lord! Also the child's birthday was celebrated during fellowship.
  • One lady thanked the Lord for turning her life around and is now using her to share the good news with others.
  • Another young man who was incarcerated thanked our father for bringing this unique gospel to him. He thanked God for allowing Forward in Faith Ministries, his church family to take care of his own family when he was absent
  • The Pastor testified God's faithfulness after asking God for the people to be shown in a dream, when one person walked in the church after finding Forward in Faith on Google. Glory to God. The young lady had just arrived last week on a work Visa.
  • Another man gave thanks to the God of our father after his life turned around as he travelled from his hometown to go to another city to go to school and stop the life of selling and using drugs. We thank our father for providing the Mission house where the young man stayed for a couple of months. As we speak he got a job as an paying him very well.
We thank God for your continuous fervent prayers for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We also thank God for our father and mother Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti for bringing this life changing word of God to our nation and city. May God continue to protect and strengthen them.
PORTMORE: We thank the God for our father Ezekiel Guti for allowing us to see another anniversary. On September 17, 2015 Forward in Faith Ministries International held the first service here. On Sunday it was with great joy that we celebrated 4 years of our father bringing this unique seed to our island, Jamaica. We had 44 persons in attendance (32 adults, 8 children and 4 young generation).
Persons testified of how this church has changed their lives for the better. Here are some of the testimonies:
  • One Elder shared that what attracted her to this ministry was the teachings about the Kingdom of God. She mentioned that as she continued to seek the Kingdom and practice righteousness, the God of Ezekiel has blessed her even allowing her to travel twice to Zimbabwe.
  • Another Elder testified that the teaching also has impacted her life tremendously and she is happy to be a part of this ministry.
  • A member stated that when she first came to FIFMI she was very ill but the Lord Jesus has totally healed her so she knows that there is a true God in this church.
  • One of our Deaconess shared how she found joy, peace and gladness in the Kingdom of God.
  • Pastor Paul also testified that since he came into contact with this ministry his life and the lives his family have been totally transformed.
There was a reading on how the church started here in Jamaica and the many missionaries who have helped to ground us in the Word. We give praise to God for what He continues to do.
Deaconess Theresa continued the series of teachings on the Fruit of the Spirit while Deaconess Tashamar preached powerfully after which one of the 5 visitors gave her life to the Lord Jesus. We had a blessed day in the presence of the Lord which ended with an extra special fellowship giving thanks to God for taking us thus far.
MONTEGO BAY: We give God thanks for His goodness towards us every day. Our members continue to grow in the Lord and meet for prayer during the week. On Sunday we had 7 persons attending service 3 of whom were children. Please continue to pray for us as we believe God for more souls.
We had a wonderful Sunday as we received the Gwarsira’s here in St Kitts. Overseer Omega taught bible study and Overseer Enoch preached, and the Lord showed up. The church is so excited and ready to receive. The attendance was 22 adults, 4 young generation and 6 children. Continue to pray for us.
We give glory to the God of Ezekiel for another great week as we thank Forward In Faith family for praying for us. On Monday our Pastors visited believers who stay far from church-across the River Nile. Upon arrival they found the believers had gathered their neighbours. Our Pastors shared the word of God and 2 people gave their lives to Christ, including a young man who got paralysed in his legs whilst at Cairo University in Egypt and could not proceed with his studies. He could only walk using a walking stick for 11 months. After prayer he walked with no stick and unaided full of great joy. Glory to the God of Ezekiel.
Mid-week services continued well. Ladies met again this week for their prayer on Friday afternoon. They were 5 in attendance. On Saturday, Child Evangelism met for service, fellowship and games. 28 children were in attendance. Sunday Service saw Child Evangelism having their own church service and joined the adults towards the end. Our Bible Study topic was about Talking with God from the book; Sunday Morning Adult Bible Lectures. The teaching was very powerful such that the Holy Spirit took over and the church continued in prayer afterwards. 3 people were delivered including a lady who testified that she woke up one day with incisions on her shoulders. That same night she had heard a sound of something that fell on the roof of their house. Glory to God! Attendance was 10 adults, 8 youth and 50 children bringing our total to 68 people. Thank you for your continued prayers.
Forward in Faith College and High School Ministry (FIFCAHSM) had a successful door to door outreach from the 13th - 15th of September 2019 at Zengeza 2 District in Zengeza Province. A team of 25 FIFCAHSM members was divided into 3 groups and they preached the word of God in 3 regions. 759 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
32 people were baptised in water. 44 people received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Many people were delivered from spirit of unforgiveness, marine spirits, drunkenness, bitterness and spiritual spouses.
Miracles and Testimonies;
  • A man who was paralysed for 2 years after being prayed for he woke up and started to walk and speak.
  • A drunkard was ministered to at a beerhall; he repented and came to church on Sunday.
  • A woman had been selling chickens for a while but no customers were coming to buy the chickens after being prayed for immediately a customer came to buy the chickens.
  • 3 women were being paid by false apostolic prophets to attend services and pretend as if they had demons. After a strong conviction they came to repent.
We give glory to the God of our father for giving us breakthrough.

  12. Thanking God for your nation.
Most people who live in sin even as they preach they don’t produce any fruit.
We are not just "churchy" people, we are people who have seen something. A number of churches they worship the name of God not the real God.
Our God speaks, He’s alive and He rebukes. God is a Spirit. He has lots of angels going around. God is real.
Keep on praying, don’t be lazy. Fight with the flesh. You will win.
When needs arise, money comes. I want you to reach the place where God answers you.
Some of you think you are poor because of greed. Wait upon the Lord - step by step. Don’t jump, today you want a beautiful car, wait upon the Lord.... God bless you
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
