Apostles Update Week 39

Dear Friends
We are grateful for the many intercessors who stand in the gap for Baba and Amai and the work of God. Let's not grow weary in praying. The best gift we can give Baba & Amai is to pray for them. No gift of prayer is too small. God bless you as "you strive with Baba & Amai in your prayers to God for them".
News from around the world
Nashville, Tennessee
In attendance for our Sunday service were 11 people of which 2 were children. This was the first day for our newly formed praise and worship team so we had a great time in praising and worshiping God. Pastor Jill led a powerful Devotion. The fore runner Sikhu shared a great message that was very powerful and informative. Pastor Bruce was phenomenal. He gave a dynamic word. Our service was great followed by an awesome time of fellowship. People came together like a family in harmony. We continue to pray for more souls and spiritual growth in the current members. We give glory to God for what He is doing.
We want to thank our father and mother for sending Evangelist Dr Phil and Pastor Judith. They overcame jet leg and organised a service in less than a day of arriving in Norway. We sent out quick flyers in the morning and one family joined us. We had a successful service attended by 5 adults and 2 children total of 7. One lady was healed of back pain and one person committed themselves to FIFMI. What a great start to our season of revival. We thank you Baba and Mama for remembering our nation. Pray for us to get an affordable mission house and a meeting place of worship.
St. Kitts
We would like to thank the God of our father E. H Guti for the way He is working in people's lives in St Kitts. Our Short term missionary pastors, Hilary and Jestina Nyakutya continued to meet the believers one-on-one to counsel and pray with them. In one such sessions, a lady was delivered from various spirits that had tormented her for a very long time. She was also delivered from severe chest and abdominal pains. Glory to God. The Sunday service was full of joy and the Praise and Worship was very uplifting. We had 16 adults and 2 children in attendance. The testimonies were encouraging. One single lady thanked God that she now has a house of her own. Another woman also testified that she recently bought a house to live with her family and has also been offered a better job. We baptized 3 people over the weekend. Glory to God.
We serve an Awesome, a Mighty, a Big God who reigns from above and reigns down with love. Nevis has had a Big week culminating with a BIG SUNDAY worship. The Lord God almighty is working in and through us. Nevisian Ladies came out in style to celebrate their Purpose as a Woman during their Ladies Tea Party on Tuesday.
Sunday’s worship was a BIG SUNDAY where we saw a total of 55 persons (36 Adults/19 Children) worshiping and praising God for what He continues to do in our lives. 3 persons received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and 4 Persons rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ. Truly a BIG, BIG Sunday.
We want to thank the God of our father EH Guti for His faithfulness here in Barbados. We had a powerful week and our bible study was a powerful experience. It ended up like a revival meeting. A well known Evangelist Zacchaeus who preaches in the street has decided to make regular attendance and making FIF his home. Friday evening another lady received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.
This Sunday 52 people were in attendance including 2 children. A couple received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. We want to thank the God of our father for the souls who are coming to the Lord in Barbados. Thank you for prayers.
We are thanking God for another week. On Saturday four couples were able to enjoy the first business meeting for the couples fellowship. Praise the Lord! Sunday service went well. 32 people (25 adults and 7 children) were in attendance. Thank you for continuous prayers for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
New Zealand
We give glory to the God of our father Ezekiel Guti for a powerful and life-transforming National Believers’ Convention that was held in Wellington, New Zealand from 4-7 October 2018. We were highly favoured to have Deputy Secretary General Dr Steve & Dr La-Verne Simukai together with Overseers Dr Stanley & Dr Tafadzwa Masaka who were sent by our father to be our guest speakers. God used them in a mighty way as they delivered the word of God under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The highest attendance was on Saturday where we had 218 delegates. The delegates included the Maori, Samoans, Tongans, Kiwis and people from various African countries. 4 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and 21 people were filled with the Holy Spirit.
There was a massive move of the Holy Spirit on Saturday morning after the preaching of the word by Dr Steve. The service turned into a Holy Ghost party as Dr La-Verne ministered and the whole church was filled with the spirit of joy and laughter. This continued again on Sunday and there was an overflow of joy and laughter to an extent that it became difficult to finish the service. Here are some of the miracles that took place:
  • A woman who had Arithritis pain on her hip was totally healed.
  • A girl with a slipped disk in her back because of carrying heavy loads and had continuous back pain was healed.
  • A lady with a kidney problem causing severe back pain was healed.
  • A man with muscular pain, joint pain and stiffness on his legs was totally healed.
  • A boy who had a back injury while playing football received his healing.
  • A lady who had pain when moving her toes and had an eye problem which caused her to feel like she had sand in her eyes was totally healed.
  • A man with sharp pain each time when lifting his left leg due to strained muscles was healed.
  • A young girl with a persistent headache was completely healed .
  • A man who had chest pain and had E.C.G test done by Doctors was healed.
  • A man with pain on both right & left side of his waist was healed.
  • A lady with a sharp pain on her right leg was completely healed .
To top the wonderful experience, Baba prophesied and blessed everyone over the phone. New Zealand will never be the same again after such a powerful conference.
Forward in Faith Qatar wishes to thank our father and mother for their support and prayers for us. The church is very stable and growing strong. Last week our Middle East Overseers sent us Rev Joram Rusere on their behalf. Qatar received powerful teachings from Pastor Rusere. There was such a revival on Thursday night and our Friday service evidenced by genuine reception of the word. We are still receiving testimonies to-date. One of our believers who was transferred to a faraway place where he could not afford to come to church was prayed for and the transfer was reversed. He is so excited. Pastor Joram taught the leadership after church at the mission house. The church and leadership benefited from the visit of Rev Joram. Continue to pray for believers to get favourable shifts which will allow them to come to church and for growth in every area.
It is true that the gospel of our church changes inside and outside. One young man felt shy to put on shoes as he got his first pair of shoes at 23 years of age. His family also witnessed a change in him as he used to kick food when drunk but today he preaches Jesus. One lady after she came to FIFMI had a better house built for her at her yard, she also received lobola (dowry) for her daughter who had been married for years and she was reconciled to her husband through prayer on Thursday then she paid her tithes as an appreciation to God. We also witnessed one of our members who had backslidden rededicate his life to Jesus.
On Saturday we went to our new church at Ampasy to have our first service after the crusade. 40 adults and 40 children attended the service while 5 more people repented. The church had a meeting to gather materials to build a church structure.
Our Sunday service in Fort Dauphin was attended by the following: 64 Adults, 37 children and 2 visitors. One person received Jesus. 5 adults and 3 children were delivered.
  • one lady who was brought to church from the hospital by her uncle got healed and received Jesus as her personal Saviour.
  • A man after learning about faith prayed for his wife and she got healed.
Please pray for us as we are working to paint our church, God to give us a 4×4 to ease the transport problem and for commitment.
A Men of Integrity Conference was held in Indianapolis, Indiana from Sep 26-30, 2018. The conference started on Thursday evening with Bishop Ed Bianchi as our main speaker. We also received powerful teachings from our guest speaker Snr Pastor Chris Mutsigwa, Dr. Zenas Marurama, DP Paul Mukasa and some elders. We had a BBQ and social soccer and the South Region won the tournament. People were delivered from different spirits that affect marriages. Our highest attendance was 65 men on Saturday night. During the conference we saw former members of Midwest Region who were no longer coming to FIF, come and participate in all activities, we believe and trust in the God of Ezekiel that they will come back. The men are looking forward to their next conference in 2020 in Miami. Glory to God.
United Kingdom
From the 21st to 23rd September, West & East Midlands Province Go Quickly & Tell Ministry women gathered in Wales for an annual prayer retreat. We saw the hand of God and experienced His presence for the entire 3 days, having come to pray for our families and the Servant & Apostle of God as women. Our speakers were Pastor Emily Marango, Pastor Nellia Chakanyuka, Bishop Mabel Samasuwo and Overseer Sue Zisengwe. The highest attendance was 137 ladies. Women were delivered from the spirit of grieving, marriages were restored and some were vomiting as they were being delivered from different spirits of oppression. We had a very successful prayer retreat and the delegates went back home refreshed and equipped. We thank God for the Young Eunors who caught the vision of prayer as they will continue to intercede for our father and mother as well as the work of God.

Haggai 1: 3-7
3 Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this [a]temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! 6 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” 7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways!
God blesses when you follow instructions. For all of us we have to go through testing, you go through hard times then things open and you know it's only God. If you don’t give tithe you should not be a leader. Follow the teachings. Don't say I will give when I have no more credits. Choose not to be controlled by clothes and blessings. Some people have a spirit of borrowing. I'm here to warn you. Don't try to use tricks you will suffer.
V7 says "consider your ways".
Your business must not interfere with the spiritual business of God. God wants us to prosper but prosper in His hands. If you borrow money from the bank, then the bank gets the glory, so God told us not to borrow. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
