Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 44

Dear Friends
Birth of Forward in Faith Michigan, USA
We celebrate the birth of Forward In Faith Lansing, Michigan, USA. Hallelujah!! We had our first service on Sunday with 11 people in attendance, 8 adults and 3 children. The 4 People who received Jesus Christ when Overseers Marurama visited their home on Friday were baptized Sunday. This family is so hungry for the Lord and are excited with the coming of Forward in Faith. Another couple who received the Marurama's into their home when they came to Lansing received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and spoke in new tongues. They had been craving for this for a long time. We had a good first service. We are believing God for more people. Pray for us as we continue to have one on one with the people and also win more souls to Christ.
Trinidad & Tobago
We are so thankful to the God of our father, Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti for yet another week. One of our believers who could not attend church the previous Sunday due to serious illness, attended our Monday prayer being sick and confirmed being healed instantly. The same believer brought 2 new people to church - what an awesome experience. These visitors then committed themselves to be Forward in Faith members and promised to attend next Sunday onwards. Our midweek services went on as usual with powerful life transforming teachings, San Juan assembly recorded an average of 7 believers with Belmont having 12 believers. Our Tuesday prayer had 6 ladies in attendance. We give praise to God for San Juan Assembly, 11 came to church, 3 visitors attended our Sunday service. 2 people were water baptized after our church service. Belmont Sunday service was inactive due to national elections rally that disrupted the operations of the service.
We are very thankful to God as He keeps on doing great things in Guyana. Our midweek services were well attended: Tuesday prayer had 7 ladies, Wednesday Bible Study had 34 people who attended from the 3 cell groups. One person gave her life to Christ and we had a powerful Sunday service with 36 people as most of the children had gone for a village function which was held the same Sunday. After a powerful preaching about the Kingdom of God one man declared that he is now a member of Forward in Faith - we give glory to God. Some testimonies:
  • One lady who was praying for a fence at her house testified on Sunday of how God miraculously provided the money and she bought the fence after being prayed for on the Thursday.
  • One man got a job after being prayed for, he is starting this Wednesday.
Thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for us for a place of worship and a Mission house.
This week has been wonderful and reviving to us in France and we would like to thank our parents Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti for sending Evangelists Dr Phil and Elder Timothy Maturure. Evangelist Timothy blessed us with a powerful Word of God last Sunday and Dr Phil continued with the revival throughout the week doing some home visits encouraging some members who were growing weak. The teachings of the kingdom of God and true repentance were central as well as water baptism - in total 4 people gave their lives to God. Notable was one of the members’ husband who had to fly from the Bahamas to come and receive these kingdom teachings. The church is now fired up and ready to spread the good news in France. Our prayer request is for the new members to catch the vision of FIFMI as it was given by God to our father.
Good news! Good news! Good news! The God of our father has done it again in Philippines. God has given us a new venue at a central place and this is an answered prayer to us. Many believers were using two to three taxis to come to church but now it's only one. We continue to see the goodness of the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti and our members are very happy about this. Sunday 10 November was a great day for Forward in Faith Philippines as we held our first Sunday service at our new church venue. We praise God for that and this place is far more comfortable than the one before. We thank God for better standards in our church. The Pastor preached about Jesus and there was a great revival as many people were delivered and healed. Our service was attended by 23 believers and there is much joy in our church because the believers are encouraged by what the God of our father is doing. We are still praying for a Van to carry some of our believers to church.
We are so thankful to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for the first powerful conference we had from 1-3 November, 2019. Indeed it was a rich conference with powerful teachers of the Word, Overseers Dr Jonathan and Remina Gocha from Bahrain. The church was taught about being established in the Kingdom of God and being doers of the Word not hearers only. There was much revival and joy in the church and a number of people recommitted their lives to God. We had FIF members from UAE and 17 members from our assemblies from 5 different cities. Despite the cold weather, the attendance was amazing. On Friday 65 attended, Saturday 72 and Sunday 80. Thank you so much for praying for us as we continue to say “Russia for Jesus!”
Montego Bay: Our God is a good God and we give Him thanks for all He continues to do in our Montego Bay Assembly. We recently received Pastors Paul & Lisa Dillon transferred from the Portmore Assembly. We are grateful for the time we had with Overseers BF and Esther Mhundwa as they have laid a great foundation through their powerful teachings. This week we had 9 people attending our Friday service and we had a wonderful time of prayer, praise and worship then Pastor Lisa led an interactive Bible study on the Kingdom of God. One member testified that she came to the service feeling down in her spirit but was uplifted by the end of the service. On Sunday the teaching on the Kingdom of God continued. We thank God for the 4 persons who gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. In total 14 people (including 5 children) attended the service.
Portmore: We thank the God of our father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti for His grace in Jamaica. Our weekend of revival that was held November 8-10, 2019 was successful and well attended. We witnessed the manifestation of the presence of the Holy Spirit through out the entire revival. 25 people attended Friday night. 2 persons received Christ as personal Saviour and 4 other persons rededicated their lives to Christ. Saturday witnessed the same number in attendance and 3 other persons rededicated their lives to the Lord. 39 people attended Sunday morning service and 3 persons received Christ. 34 people attended Sunday night service and 2 persons rededicated their lives to Jesus.
On Sunday both morning and night services, persons came to the podium to testify how they were helped by the 3 days revival. Many people received their break-throughs, healing and deliverance through the preaching of the Word of God.
Continue to pray for us in Jesus name.
This week in Punta Gorda we saw the grace of God as more people were added to the Lord's kingdom and FIFMI family. During mid-week home visitations 5 people gave their lives to the Lord. On Sunday our membership grew in both assemblies. In PG City attendance was 19 and Pastors Julian and Victory ministered there and God moved in a mighty way. Our "Flying Eagles” assembly in Eldridgeville had an attendance of 18 people and Pastors Elizabeth and Helen taught and preached followed by great deliverance and one person gave their life to the Lord. This week we had total of 6 new converts.
This week we saw the Kingdom of God in action as our pastors went to one radio station to advertise our Wednesday Healing and Deliverance services but instead were offered an opportunity to preach on the Kingdom of God for about 15 minutes for two days a week and the services are going to be advertised at the same time slots. Programs will air this coming week, Hallelujah. Tuesday we had a leadership seminar where leaders were taken through lessons on church packaging. Wednesday morning we had the Healing service fourth week running with up to 20 people in attendance and 3 people gave their lives to the Lord. Cell groups went on well and we are grateful that we are having new people attending. Friday evening we had a powerful prayer and deliverance service. Sunday we had an informative and eye opening teaching on healthy lifestyle by Dr Ann Corbin and then our pastor ministered. Some testimonies from this week:
  • A lady was delivered from being tormented from spiritual husbands
  • One man was healed of stomach pains.
  • A woman hearing voices and seeing people following her all the time was prayed for and delivered.
  • A young lady was prompted by Holy Spirit to bless someone in church and she obeyed. Soon after she received a call for a job opportunity and the following day was called for an interview which was successful and she got the job at a top medical centre in the island. Glory to God.
St Kitts and Nevis
Our two islands joined together for a big weekend hosted by Nevis which started with a Leadership and Worship training seminar where Elders and Deacons along with the Worship Teams from both churches received teachings from Overseers Enock and Omega Gwasira (SK) and Pastors Peter and Rose Natsa (Nevis). With a total of 56 Members in attendance Sunday was truly a Big Sunday and the Holy Spirit visited us in a mighty way throughout the service from the Bible Study right through to the Word. The evidence of His presence was all around us as members were being delivered speaking in tongues and slain in the Spirit as 12 people also received the gift of the Holy Spirit for the first time. We concluded with Holy Communion service. Testimonies:
  • A St. Kitts member said that after only three months she had learnt so much and have experienced so much positive Word that her entire family of 7 people have decided they are not going anywhere else but staying with FIFMI.
  • A Nevis Member spoke of how her marriage was in shambles but since attending FIFMI her life has changed. She was baptized two days ago and is looking forward to going forward with Jesus.
Our prayer is for continued growth in membership and finances to secure a bus and for the work of the ministry.
Botswana Single Ladies Conference
We give glory to the God of our Father, Prof E.H Guti for the life-changing Conference held from the 18th to 20th of October in Gaborone under the leadership of Bishop T. Nchunga and National Single ladies Director, Pastor Regina Mapeo. God highly favoured us to grant us the International Director, for the Single Women Ministry, Overseer Caillar Mhlandhla as the guest speaker. Friday service had 53 delegates in attendance and the number kept increasing until Sunday. DP T. Zhou, Single Women’s Umbrella in Botswana, taught mightily on Prayer on Friday. The International Director under the unction and power of the Holy Ghost taught on Talents, exhorting women to work with their hands. There was great revival in the spirits of many who had moved from their rightful place in God. We are so grateful to God, for one-on-one counselling sessions during the Conference, where the single women poured out their hearts. Saturday night was a night of power, there was divine visitation that left the single ladies healed and delivered from various oppressions by the devil. Three ladies were healed from severe leg pains, glory to God. We thank God for His Apostle, our Father, who was given this great vision of teaching, comforting, directing and elevating the lives of Botswana Single Women through the Ever-Living Word of God.
A team of 36 youth evangelists from Diamond Zone (Mutare) embarked on an outreach to Matanda area in Bocha to establish an assembly there. God moved in a mighty way with 233 souls surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ. Out of these, 21 committed to make FIF their spiritual home and an assembly was established. The chief of the area was happy with the church and gave the team permission to look for any place of their choice within his jurisdiction so that the shelter building can commence. Here are some of the miracles which took place.
  • A lady was healed from chronic headache and together with her family they gave their lives to the Lord.
  • Another was healed from chest pains.
  • A young boy was suffering from neck pain. He could not turn his head without feeling pain but after prayer he was healed instantly
  • An elderly woman suffering from migraine headaches was also healed.
Our prayer is that this new assembly may continue growing in the grace of the God of our father Professor Ezekiel Guti.
This week:
  1. Thanking God for the Servant and Apostles of God, Prof Ezekiel H. & Dr. Eunor Guti that God continues to give them daily supernatural strength. Thanking God that He will give them grace for all the work to be done, places they have to go to and needs that have to be met before the end of the year. Thanking God that He will give Baba & Amai victory over spiritual warfare especially as we are nearing the end of the year.
  2. Thanking God for the growth of FIFMI Trinidad and Guyana. May God continue to add more souls.
  3. Thanking God for prevailing peace in ZEGU and provision for the different needs at the university that are a burden for Baba & Amai.
  4. Thanking God for the success of the Mozambique 50th Jubilee Celebrations held in Maputo this past weekend
  5. Thanking God that He will provide the money for the AFMCC flats renovations as the women carry the burden together with our father.
  6. Thanking God that He gives Baba & Amai a “building inspector” for the church.
  7. Thanking God for building projects that Baba and Amai are doing: the Bindura Ezekiel Guti Deliverance Healing and Prayer Centre and the schools in Gokwe and Chiredzi.
  8. Thanking God for all our missionaries and the growth of all our FIFMI churches worldwide. Thanking God for other visas to other nations. Thanking God for the expediting of the registration process of FIFMI Finland and Mauritius. Thanking God that the pastors are able to recover items stolen from the mission house in Madagascar.

I John 3:2 “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
A blessing is not cheap. You can’t get it when you are lazy to pray. If we understand who we are in Christ, then the demons will be afraid of us. Weakness in our body does not imply Jesus is weak.
When we say walk in the kingdom of God you have to kick out some things. To enjoy the kingdom of God you have to kill some things.
The system running this world is not of God, that’s why God sent His angels to protect us. The god of this world is the devil. God created heaven and earth. Murder and hatred is from the the heart not feeling, so heart must change.
Dominate in the kingdom. To enjoy the kingdom of God, you have to kick out some demons and sickness. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
