Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 45

Dear Friends
Praise and honour be accorded to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti, for yet another powerful week. Ladies Tuesday prayer was held in both centres with 8 ladies in total turning up to pray for God's work. Midweek services were successful, San Juan assembly recorded an average of 7 believers in attendance while Belmont assembly had an average of 13 attending.
Friday service was so powerful, after the preaching one of the visitors to the service was pricked by the Word and repented. He later gave a testimony that," it was 14 years ago that he last went to church and when the Word was preached it was so touching and left him with no option but to repent".
Our Sunday services were so powerful evidenced by the spirit of prayer which was so dense such that our MC could not proceed with his program, we give glory to God for such instances. This has been fostered by our two weeks teaching on prayer, we are witnessing serious growth in prayer life of our believers.
Sunday service attendance in San Juan was 9 and Belmont assembly 18 adults and 1 child were in attendance. Continue to pray for us, especially this coming Super Sunday we are believing God for many souls to be added to our church .
What a mighty God we serve as we continue to thank God for being faithful in our nation of Guyana. It has been a great week as we continue with our midweek services. We had 6 ladies for Tuesday prayer. After a powerful word on Friday, 6 people received Jesus Christ. There was great deliverance.
We thank God for our Sunday service, we were 29 people as some had gone for a relative’s wedding which took place the same Sunday.
We want to thank you as you continue to pray for our saints to get Sundays off as God continues to bless them with jobs, and for the Mission house and a place of worship.
Forward in Faith is marching on and we are seeing the power of being sent. Sunday we were 16 (11 Adults and 5 children). One person received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour. We are going to baptise her next week.
This week the family that was baptized in water last Sunday, the parents received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
One of the ladies brought cooked food for fellowship and we had a good time talking and relating to each other after service. We still need prayers for more souls and those who are there to be grounded.
A few weeks ago, we had about 30 adults and 6 kids in attendance. We were blessed to have Overseer Joseph who came to introduce Pastor Pheim and Elder Steve. There was excitement in the house as they were introduced to the church. Pastor Pheim preached an explosive Word. He is truly being used by God. There was power and fire in the house as he preached. During the altar call people came to be prayed for and the anointing of the Holy Spirit moved. At the end of the service we had a lot of food and people stayed behind to fellowship with each other.
Our Sunday service started with thanking God for the South East Regional Big Sunday that took place last weekend in Nashville. Though a small assembly, everyone worked with the servanthood spirit to ensure a great and successful Big Sunday. It was an emotional day for the church as we said good bye to one of our committed members who is going back to Zimbabwe. God used him to minister to the church through a testimonial message entitled 'A time for everything’. Home Talents were successfully launched in Nashville. We continue to pray for a more permanent place of worship, more souls and commitment of current members.
All weekly services went well and prayer continues online 5am together as a Region. We thank God for a family of four that was delivered, received Christ, rededicated their lives and got baptized. The same family chose F.I.F as their spiritual home. 27 youth and young adults received Jesus at a Juvenile facility. There are also on-going Bible teachings to the young people on Mondays and Saturdays. 2 couples got married and blessed, as they chose to live a Godly life. Sunday church was vibrant we had many visitors from different parts of the country. We thank God for His servants Apostle Ezekiel and Eunor Guti for giving us this life changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
16 couples got together for a couples’ dinner which opened this week of events on Tuesday evening and it was resoundingly successful. Wednesday and Friday programs went on well. This Sunday the youths hosted the service for the first time and we had a full house with 56 people in attendance, 14 were visitors. 7 people gave their lives to the Lord Jesus throughout this week and 3 were water baptised. Testimonies:
  • One young lady testified of how Jesus transformed her life and is now sold out for Jesus.
  • Another young lady narrated how she was delivered from her life of being a stripper, a hooker and a drunkard and is now preaching the Kingdom of God
  • A man who was running a strippers club on the island gave his life to the Lord and he vowed never to open the doors of that club again. He regretted how he has caused pain in young ladies lives and in marriages through such a business enterprise. He promised to come again and again with his wife to FIF. Please help us to pray for him that God may strengthen him and give him another business idea.
Our weekly activities both daytime and evening are keeping pace as Members yearn for prayer and more study of the WORD. One testimony from an attendee of the lunchtime ministry was about how he gave up his job to serve God and has not had any regrets. Our Ladies Ministry is excited about their Upcoming event this Friday “LADIES COCKTAIL PARTY” where they are expecting many ladies to come and Fellowship with one another as they feed on the word from Pastor Rose.
Sunday’s Worship had 27 in attendance (21 Adults and 6 Children). One Member testified he can Praise God he is now officially a Business Man and God has answered his prayers. He has made all things possible.
Please pray for our Joint Fellowship with our Brothers and Sisters in St. Kitts December 7 & 8, increase in Membership to carry on the work of God and the Church Bus Transportation to be finalized.
Bulawayo South Special Tuesday Prayer
The 12th of November was a great day for the women of Bulawayo South Province who gathered for a special prayer for the Apostle & Servant of God and Amai and the work at large.
The day was graced by Mama Secretary General, Rev. L. Nyambo who was sent by our father and our mother. What then made the day to be special for us was that after prayer and teaching we received a recorded prayer from the Apostle and Servant of God, E. H Guti.

I John 3:2 “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
Anointing comes and goes but the truth stays in you and that’s an important thing.
The devil can say you are a sinner but you know you are not a sinner.
Some of you, the heart has never been touched. It’s easy to copy things and be like Baba Guti but the key is the heart. It’s not anointing or power of healing, it’s the heart.
Jesus died for your heart, your heart must change, you must be born again. Jesus died for your heart. Your heart must change. When your heart is changed you will enjoy the kingdom of God. He has changed my heart, I’m a new creature. When you know what happened you walk like a rich person. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
