December 19, 2023

Dear Friends,

Seasons Greetings! We are thankful to God who has seen us through the year 2023.
As we prepare for the festive season let’s remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.

LEGACY BIG TUESDAY

We give Glory to the God of Ezekiel who enabled us to hold the Legacy Big Tuesday, the final Big Tuesday for 2023. The occasion was graced by most of the provinces in Zimbabwe and the international family joining us on zoom. Physically over 8000 women attended coming from all over Zimbabwe and South Africa and Canada. Ladies hired buses and combis and some up to 2 full buses per province came for Tuesday prayer at the Ezekiel Guti Convention Centre. Over 600 gadgets logged in on zoom and 17 nations outside Zimbabwe were represented. 11 women gave their lives to Christ and 1 was water baptised. We heard testimonies of Home Talents, how the God of Ezekiel showed himself powerful and faithful to the covenant He made with His Servant. As he was told to Go back and teach my people to work with their hands – God bas indeed blessed His people through Home Talents. Our Mother Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti encouraged the women to continue praying for our Father and our Mother, Apostle Dr. Joseph Joe Guti and Pastor Nyasha Guti, SG Apostle Mishael Nyambo, Pastor Leticia Nyambo, the DSG Apostle Steve and Dr La-Verne Simukai, Archbishops, Bishops, Overseers, Pastors and saints in all the 169 nations and states. She reminded us that our father Archbishop Ezekiel Guti spent 63 years shepherding ZAOGA, He build the foundation of prayer which is the thing that brought about Tuesday prayer. When we follow it, we are not going to be lost. The more we follow the vision the more we are going to see greater things
She encouraged the ladies to pray for their children, reading the Word of God with them, just as how our Father Archbishop Ezekiel Guti did with his family. Our mother went on to say that children should be encouraged to participate in Kingdom Music and Dance, and to be given ample time during the services. Lastly she emphasized that it is now a time for Thanksgiving. Thanking God for all the prayers He has answered the whole year and that Thanksgiving is a powerful tool in prayer.

ROMANIA

God has done it again we are full of joy to announce the registration of FIFMI Romania. Glory to God!

JANUARY TO JUNE 2023

The year 2023 was kick started with the Ten Days of Prayer and Fasting, a sacred time set apart at the beginning of every year in ZAOGA Forward in Faith to seek the face of God and seek His guidance through the new year. Female Pastors held prayer camps all around the world. It is always a time of revival and renewing for congregations across the globe, a time of great testimonies for instance in Guyana, one of their member’s son was electrocuted and paralysed on his left hand, he testified that while in hospital he saw in a vision the believers in his church praying for him and other believers outside of Guyana. The following Sunday he came to church completely healed, it was as if nothing ever happened to him, glory to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti. Just like what our Father declared the previous year that, “it is germinating!” Indeed, right at the start of 2023 in January, FIFMI Romania was birthed in the capital city of Bucharest. God had been speaking to a couple there that they would meet people who would bring a strong, life-transforming gospel and spiritual awakening to Romania and the manifestation of this promise was when they met the envoys our father had sent to this Eastern European nation. January also featured a historic day of celebrating our mother Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti’s 50 years of serving in the kingdom of God. More than 16,000 people gathered at the Ezekiel Guti Convention Centre, Zimbabwe, with thousands more tuning in across social media platforms to honour and appreciate her unwavering and outstanding commitment to the work of God. The month was wrapped up by the 51st Pastors Deeper Life conference.

The vision of prayer retreats focused on practical application of Isaiah 58 was implemented all over the world. People were introspecting and repenting leading to deliverance from all kinds of bondage such as anger, bitterness, unforgiveness to name a few. These prayer retreats culminated in teachings on Kingdom Wealth Creation (Home Talents) which was the main thrust for 2023, leaving people empowered and equipped and to work. Easter conferences dotted the landscape in the month of April, Spiritual revivals were held at the Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) and Mbuya Dorcas Hospital (MDH) where many souls came to Christ and many received healing and deliverance. Deeper Life conferences were held in Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa. Archbishops’ Big Sundays in Zimbabwe drew multitudes, the Night of Miracles Signs and Wonders in Bindura Zimbabwe attracted over 12,000 people, harvesting more than 1050 souls.

Then it was May, the Centenary Birthday month, where the ZAOGA FIFMI family the world over celebrated our father Archbishop Ezekiel H. Guti, 100 years of God’s grace, 75 years nonstop preaching of the undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ and 63rd anniversary of the ministry. The celebrations were held at district, provincial and national levels but an array of main events were held in Harare, Zimbabwe starting with a walk-a-thon and aerobics commemorating Baba’s morning walk and health awareness, walking on the same routes he has used over the years. MDH then launched 100 Days of Wellness where specific medical checks were carried out for free in celebration of the visionary of the hospital turning 100 years. The Centenary Gospel Show was yet another event to celebrate the life of our father with over 4000 people attending the concert. The mega celebrations were at Glamis Arena where over 40,000 people thronged: His Excellency Cde E.D Mnangagwa, president of the republic of Zimbabwe was the guest of honour. Representatives from other churches came to witness doing of the Lord as various individuals and ministries gave our father accolades. May was a month full of celebratory activities, it was also a month full of miracles. In Seychelles, an Elder prayed for a man who was dying in ICU; his heart had overgrown and was filled with water. The doctors had given up on him and actually called his family to see him “for the last time” but after the prayer he miraculously recovered, the heart returned to normal size and the water disappeared. He was discharged and together with his wife they happily gave their lives to Christ.

The work in Europe continued to grow as a team travelled from Debrecen to open a second assembly in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. The same expansion happened in Maromitsioka, Madagascar. In Cambodia they began to hold physical meetings and we heard testimonies of individuals converting from Islam to follow Christ in Morocco and Chad. The month of June heralded an opportunity to seek God half way through the year through prayer, fasting and reading the word. The Pastors, Elders, Deacons and Believers held their respective prayer conventions and a new FIFMI baby was born – Slovakia. We give all the glory to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti.

Stay tuned for the other half of the year next week even as we celebrate Christmas – the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ!

TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

Christmas has a spirit – you want to travel nowhere for no reason. You have issues at home and people fight in the family because of Christmas. Don’t come back with broken limbs. Christians should not be controlled by Christmas. There’s a spirit of Christmas that causes people to steal, do bad and then lose jobs. Just stay home and enjoy Christmas. Don’t get caught up in credits just for 2 days. May God make you content that Jesus is your Christmas. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Apostle Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
