Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 50

Dear Friends

As we start this special week of celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are also celebrating what God has done in 2019.

It is God’s grace indeed that we are coming to the end of another year and we want to take this time to reflect on all His goodness in our ministry all over the world. The beginning of 2019 saw the 48th annual Pastors Deeper Life run smoothly in Zimbabwe despite civil unrest and fuel crisis prevailing at the time. 10 new bishops, Bishops Chikore, Chikuse, Dube, Macharika, Masaka, Mpanduki, Mutingwa, Rupapa, Zhou from Zimbabwe and Bishop Jarbah from West Africa were ordained there. In April, South Africa launched five Zonal Deeper Life Conferences and three Apostles were ordained in South Africa, Apostles Jabangwe, Sibanda and Zinatsa. While neighbouring Swaziland held its first Deeper Life Conference and commissioning of the first mission house. In East Africa, Kenya held its first Leadership Seminar and Tanzania made a similar ground breaking development.

Across the sea in the Middle East, pre-dominantly Islamic nations like Bahrain participated in the 10 days prayer with overwhelming success. In the same category the Dubai church in the United Arab Emirates made a breakthrough by performing at the UAE Peace Gathering. Our father, the Servant and Apostle, Professor E.H Guti has been stepping in this nation for 2 years and the church is convinced this is why the UAE is becoming tolerant of diverse religions. UAE also held their inaugural Deeper Life Leadership Conference.

Over in Europe the Schengen countries held their first ever Deeper Life in Basel, Switzerland. While the United Kingdom Ezekiel Guti Conference Centre (EGCC) was officially opened by Archbishops Professor E. H. Guti and Dr. Eunor Guti in August in Birmingham in the presence of a great cloud of witnesses inclusive of bishops, pastors and believers from all around the world. What a pivotal and historical occasion it was for the church in Europe.

The Today’s Woman Interdenominational Conference in Harare, Zimbabwe was an equally notable occasion where an estimated 17000 women from all over the world and over 300 churches represented gathered to learn at the feet of Archbishop Dr. Eunor Guti.

Over in the Caribbean, Nevis joined the rest of the world in holding ladies prayer retreats and Big Sundays joining together with its sister Island of St Kitts.

Zimbabwe saw the ordination of more apostles, Apostles Msiza, Mike and Simukai. Another bishop, Bishop Chabarwa was also ordained towards the end of the year.

The church of Atlanta, Georgia, USA was over the moon about receiving the resident pastors they had been praying for, for 3 years. Their brethren in the Philippines were equally jubilant about also receiving long term pastors. However, the real jubilation was in Maputo Mozambique as the nation celebrated its Golden Jubilee from the 8th -10th of November. 50 years of God’s grace in Mozambique. Apostles Timba Capece and Da Silva Mikitayo were also ordained during the great celebrations. Glory to God. “ZAOGA FIFMI yafamba, yatekeshera, yayambuka nzizi” (ZAOGA FIFMI has spread all over the world).

We serve an awesome God. A God of wonders. Hallelujah! Someone just stand up and praise the Lord for His goodness.

Merry Christmas!

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

We are to go back to the beginning in love. Love is fulfilled when we fellowship together, bringing our food and sharing with others. In the beginning during Christmas we would bring food and eat together with others making sure everyone ate, even those who didn’t have would also enjoy Christmas. This caused people to say this church is full of love. Jesus’ meetings had food so we should also have food in our services. This Christmas let’s go back to the beginning and during the Christmas convention, let’s share food as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
