Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 36

Dear Friends,
The hybrid Today's Woman Conference which ran from the 9-11 September came to a close with women still wanting more. Archbishop Dr Eunor Guti using divinely inspired wisdom, had instructed us to go ahead with planning the Conference and look beyond the limitations brought about by the COVID 19 Pandemic and plan a virtual event.
Little did we know that God had a big surprise for us. It was amazing to see how the God of Ezekiel gave us the grace to run a conference which was not only virtual but also had limited in person gathering (a maximum of 100 people according to COVID regulations) at the International Command Centre which was at the Rainbow Towers in Harare, Zimbabwe. Many others were gathered in their provincial centres, churches and homes with people from the neighbourhoods. The technical hub which was live-streaming the event was at EGEA located at the ZAOGA FIF Headquarters in Waterfalls, Harare
Over 25 speakers delivered powerfully including The Honourable Minister of Women's Affairs Dr. Stembiso Nyoni. Many nations participated in the conference and tens of thousands of women attended the conference on the various platforms that included Zoom, Facebook, churchonlineplatform, Mixlr and WhatsApp.
The theme of the Conference was "Today's Woman, known through her character" Col 1:10c and our mother, Archbishop Dr Eunor Guti taught powerfully on this topic.
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel who is giving us grace as the work continues in Bangor, Maine, USA. We had our Wednesday bible study with 9 people in attendance on zoom.
We also had a great Sunday service, elder Mrs Primrose Mavuru preached and the church was encouraged. Attendance was 13 people in person and 5 logged in on zoom. Please continue praying for us as we believe God for more people to be saved.
We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti for taking the church in Morocco from glory to glory. Saturday was a day of breakthrough as we held two concurrent fellowships for ladies and men with 16 men and 11 women in attendance. Apostle Enoch and Pastor Virginia Tigere delivered powerful teachings that have started to bear fruit as we are receiving many testimonies of transformation of lives and families. Our service on Sunday was full of joy in the presence of the Lord. The attendance for the service was 25 adults and 5 children. During the midweek our online and in-person bible study groups and prayer services continued with very good attendance. We thank you for your prayers.
We want to thank God for this week. Midweek services continue to be attended though the attendances have been low. On Friday we held a powerful service in which the Pastors preached on forgiveness. There was a thick presence of God as believers cried to God in repentance. There was emotional healing that took place, Amen. We thank God that now churches are allowed to meet. The attendance was low but we had time to pray and fellowship. May you continue to pray for us.
We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His goodness here in Guyana. This weekend was a life changing weekend for the ladies, they were able to attend the powerful Today's Woman conference. They were inspired, empowered and delivered. We are receiving testimonies one after the other. We say thank you to our Mother Apostle Dr. Eunor Guti for such a conference and we will never be the same again. We are meeting for our prayers and Bible Study on Zoom. On Friday the whole church was fasting in preparation of the service in the evening which was a worship night. As people were worshipping one of our members was baptised in the Holy Ghost and started to speak in tongues and a child who was passing urine mixed with blood was prayed for and the following day the Doctors confirmed that there was no more blood in the urine. We give glory to God. One of our youth members who had applied for a job was prayed for before submitting the application and she got the job. On Sunday we had a powerful service which was well attended and we were taught on the Integrity of God's Word. Continue to pray for us as we are believing God for our own place of worship.
We want to thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for an awesome week of prayer and fasting under the Theme "Winning our families with emphasis on our children". We had the privilege of having powerful International Speakers from the UK, Elder Beatrice and Elder Juliette who ministered to us on Morning glory, Monday to Friday on the topic: The Power of Parenting and Knowing the Word of God. It was indeed a successful and powerful experience as the believers prayed and cried for their children not forgetting the amazing Conference of Today's Woman. We were truly blessed by the teaching by our Mother Apostle Eunor when she explained what Today's woman is all about empowering women to excel in business, education, leadership and taking care of families, being a blessing when we show good character in the community and in the city we are becoming the salt of the Nation. That was the topic of our Bible Study in our Sunday Service facilitated by our Pastor. Many believers resolved to work on their characters in order to be fruitful. The Sunday Services were all powerful as many believers received their healing & deliverance from the spirit of poverty, sickness etc. We thank you for your prayers.
We are grateful to the God of Ezekiel for another powerful week in our nation. Daily prayers continued and on Wednesday Bible study had 15 people in attendance. On Sunday 20 people attended, and we had 2 new people joining. The presence of the Holy Spirit was evident as people shared testimonies on the faithfulness of God in their lives:
  • One lady testified about how she came to know the Lord and how He had saved her son from death. She also praised God for his miraculous provisions in her time of need.
  • Another lady testified of the goodness of God in her life, she managed to change jobs just in the nick of time and her visa was processed when others were denied, glory to God
  • Another lady testified about how she had a personal encounter with the Lord after she had gone through a traumatizing experience and God sustained her.
It strengthened the saints to know that God is faithful even in difficult circumstances. We thank God that there is a spirit of oneness and a burden to pray for one another amongst the saints. Thank you for your prayers, we are seeing the results. Please continue praying for us that many more souls may be added.

Job 1:5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularlyJob would make a prayer to ask for forgiveness for his children saying maybe they have done wrong when feasting.
Let's pray for our children and teach them the word of God.
The Bible has to guide or control us, scripture has to rule us. Don’t pray when you are angry or fighting with your spouse, it won’t work. Even praying when you are angry with your child, it won’t work. You need to fix things first then pray. I prayed, I fought against the spirit of short temper.
Col 3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
It says to put off – it is not God who puts off but we ourselves have to put off – we have to fight that spirit. It is your job to fight those things. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
