Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 38

Dear Friends,
The Male Pastors were eagerly waiting for their annual Conference which could not be held last year due to the covid 19 pandemic but this year, 23-25 September 2021, the God of our Father Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Guti made it possible. Held in two formats; physical for Greater Harare and virtual for 36 confirmed Provincial Centres in Zimbabwe and the rest of the world. The favoured zone Chitungwiza, Jumbo church was our technical command centre broadcasting live to the 5 continents.  Running under the theme ' Raising Disciples of Character in the Kingdom of God’, 16 speakers shared passionately flowing together with the visionary. Topics included: the New Normal, Marriage, Kingdom of God, Men's Health, SADOP, Personal development, Discipleship and many more. Saturday the 25th of September was the major highlight of the Conference with the hosts our Father and our mother Apostle Eunor Guti joining us physically at Jumbo and beamed to the rest of the world. The sharing of our Mother opened our eyes to day to day issues that we need to correct as Male Pastors so that we have joyous families. Our Father exhorted us to basic principles of marriage and charged us to live and teach the Kingdom of God always. The virtual audience followed the conference live on Zoom and on Whatsapp. Glory be to God, ZAOGA FIFMI Male Pastors will never be the same again.
Casablanca: Casablanca Assembly was successfully launched on Sunday thank you for your prayers. 14 individuals were present and 5 new converts gave their lives to Christ after a powerful teaching on the Kingdom of God by Apostle E. Tigere. The Lord had prepared the hearts of several men and women who have committed to support the work of God. One lady testified that she had seen a vision of the establishment Forward in Faith Ministries in Casablanca and had been eagerly waiting for the opening of the assembly. We thank the Lord for providing contacts who have assisted us in identifying places for a mission house and a venue for our Sunday services. We ask for your prayers for God to help us to win many souls and for the approval of a request that we submitted to use a venue in the Centre of town for our Sunday services.
Marrakech: We registered a good attendance of 25 adults and 6 children at our Sunday service, including 1 visitor. There was great joy as the church was encouraged in the Word of God by Pastor V. Tigere. The church broke bread together during the fellowship after the service. 8 ladies managed to log-in for the Tuesday prayer and our 5 midweek Bible study groups and prayer services continued with good attendance. Thank you for your prayers
We want to thank God for a blessed week. Midweek services continue to take place. Friday we held a powerful service in which Elder Judy preached and afterwards entered into deep worship and the presence of God moved. On Sunday we had pastor Diane from Belize who taught on Faith. Indeed believers were encouraged. May you continue to pray for us that we have believers who are grounded in Forward in Faith.
We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His goodness here in Guyana we are meeting for our prayers and Bible Study on Zoom. After our Monday prayer, we had a powerful Couples fellowship which was attended physically by 9 couples and after great teachings we had time for fellowship as couples continued to ask questions concerning marriage. Our Friday fellowship service was well attended, after teaching on the benefits of being baptised in the Holy Spirit one lady who had not yet received the gift of the Holy Spirit was filled and she began to speak in tongues. We give glory to God. On Sunday after bible study, there was powerful praise and worship and the mighty move of God's presence was felt as people were worshipping. After the ministration of the word one lady who felt like giving up testified that she was encouraged to continue serving the Lord. Continue to pray for us as we continue to believe God for our own place of worship.
We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness. We had a powerful week with prayer as our main agenda. Tuesday evening, the Elders and Deacons continue to meet for the training session facilitated by our Pastors. Wednesday evening, the believers had a powerful Bible study session on Character and it was indeed very interactive as our facilitator engaged the believers in this exciting topic in the word. Friday night, was powerful as the believers continue to engage in prayer. Our Pastor delivered an encouraging message on Faith being the way to navigate in these unprecedented times. Sunday Service was awesome and well attended. The Worship team was on fire. A powerful message was delivered by our Pastor on the Kingdom of God, believers were encouraged to dominate and many believers received their healing and deliverance. We thank you for your prayers.
Colorado- On Monday some of our believers fasted after being taught on fasting and we had a powerful time of prayer with 11 people in attendance. We want to thank God that the baby church is being grounded in prayer and it is becoming more fervent, especially after some were baptized in the Holy Spirit. By God's grace on Monday we set up necessary structures for running the church. Wednesday Bible study was attended by 4 with a teaching on Salvation. Friday, we had a good service with 6 people in attendance. Saturday, we saw the prayer for couples being answered. Apostle Zenas and Dr Cathy had a wonderful time with two families in Denver Colorado, this is an open door to more families in Denver. Sunday services went well with 3 attending in the morning and 8 in the evening receiving a powerful Word on the Kingdom of God. We still need prayers for work schedules that allow them to attend church services and for more couples to come to Christ and join us.
Maine - This week we had a great time. For Wednesday Bible study we had 9 people logged in on Zoom, Overseer Mukasa continued to teach about prayer with so much revelation. Our Sunday service was so refreshing and we had 10 people attending in person and 4 individuals on Zoom, with a Spirit filled teaching about the Name of Jesus. Please continue to pray for us so that people can be free on Sundays and that our new believers can continue to grow in the things of God.
We continue to experience the faithfulness of the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti in our nation. During the daily prayers we had an average attendance of 9 people. Testimonies of prayer requests which are being answered are strengthening the saints and they are motivated to keep on seeking the Lord in prayer:
  • Two people asked for prayer for new jobs and God gave them better jobs than they were expecting.
  • Another man asked for prayer for his relative who was not well, after the saints prayed, he was discharged from hospital and is completely healed.
  • One of the children who was not going to school, because of documentation issues was accepted into school without any questions, surely, we serve a living God.
On Wednesday we had an enlightening Bible study as we continued learning about Righteous Living, the session was very interactive as the saints searched the scriptures with an eagerness to learn from the Word of God. For the Sunday service, we had 15 people in attendance and a powerful word was shared on the Importance of the Whole Amour of God. We are grateful for your prayers and ask that you continue praying for us so that the believers may catch the vision of the church and that more souls may be added.

Thanking God for removing the spirit of fear. May the Holy Spirit comfort those that have lost their loved ones.
  9. Thanking God for your nation.
There are a lot of people who are not good people. There are a lot of born again people who are bad people. To be a good person is a choice. Our salvation is different - you don’t need salvation again. You all are already born again, however, you need to stay on the teaching of character instead.
Work out visible issues – manyanga (horns) so you don’t discourage others.
Change the character that is not good. You have heard me, I spent one year praying “create in me a clean heart”. Check why people don’t like you, people know us more than we know ourselves..... God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
