Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 11

Dear Friends

As times are very uncertain, we are encouraged to look unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Let's do all we can to be safe, take all necessary precautions and adhere to government requirements in our nations. This is not the time to fear but to put our TRUST in the Lord. Psalm 23:4. Spend more time reading and meditating on the word because that is how faith comes and we get stronger in the Lord.

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
We thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His grace is sufficient indeed. This week we are thanking God for a successful Sunday service with attendance of 10. Indeed the God of Ezekiel is strengthening the believers and giving them hope. Our prayer request is for our believers who are faithful members to continue growing and for God to give us more souls. Help us to pray for our cell groups that we have introduced to grow.

GUYANA
We want to thank God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness in our nation. As we continue with our midweek services the attendance was good and the 4 home cell groups were attended well as we saw new people coming. Friday we had 38 people who attended the service and the pastor continues to encourage people not to have fear because of Corona virus but to have faith in God and stay in the Kingdom of God. Saturday we had 13 people who were water baptized we give glory to God. Some testified that they felt a change after baptism. One girl said she was feeling heavy in her body after baptism she felt light. Sunday we had a powerful praise and worship and powerful Word. We had one visitor. 50 people attended the service. We ended our service with fellowship. We thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for us for peace to prevail in our nation

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Our Sunday service went very well despite all Corona virus related challenges, our members connected online. Government authorities put restrictions on large gatherings but we were still able to pray and hear the Word by live streaming the service on Facebook. We were joined by over 24 viewers from all over the world in such far places like Australia, Argentina, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Peru, and the USA. Please continue to pray us: our government quarantined the entire country and already many people are without money and food. Companies are not allowed to open but we are trusting in the God of our father Ezekiel for His divine intervention.

ST KITTS
We thank God for His hand and favor on St Kitts Assembly. A door was opened for our Pastors to have an opportunity to be interviewed on a local radio station called Newshouse advertising our church, we thank God for that. A new home cell group was opened, so we now have three functioning bible study groups. Ladies Big Tuesday was on fire as the Holy Spirit ministered to the Ladies and God spoke to our lives. Our Young generation ministries is growing; we had two young ladies joining the ministry. We thank God for our youths and we continue to lift them up in prayer. We also had a two days life changing Marriage Enrichment Seminar and a number topics were covered. It was so powerful that the couples asked for Part 2. We had a powerful Sunday Service attended by 23 persons despite it being a rainy day in the islands which affected other members. A family of four (4) gave their lives to Christ after counselling with the Pastors. Continue to pray for us and our upcoming event of Singles Seminar on the 4th April.

NEVIS
Our members are connecting to the Word and returning with testimonies of how it is helping them connect closer to God and is a tremendous help as we navigate through these challenging times we find ourselves facing. Our Monday and Friday Prayer nights are drawing numbers we have not seen in a while. Some testimonies:
  • One Sister had been experiencing headaches and decided to attend our Thursday Lunchtime Ministry where the Pastors Counsel and pray with attendees. The Pastors laid hands and prayed with her and she was delivered.
  • A Brother testified that he woke up Sunday morning with fingers on both hands feeling numb. He prayed and pled the Blood while telling the devil "Not today" and by the time he got dressed for church the feeling had left his hands.
Members were fired up with the Word this "Word Fest Sunday" and encouraged to let go of fear with all that is happening with the Corona virus, but have faith. Reminding us that when we cannot congregate physically we can do so spiritually as we stay connected in prayer during these difficult times. Church ended with altar call and one person gave their life to the Lord. We continue to pray for our FIFMI sisters and brothers across the world as we fight the good fight against health issues, loss of jobs, restrictions on travel, quarantines, isolation and mental issues. We pray that God will deliver us all.

BARBADOS
We truly thank the God of our Father Ezekiel for His faithfulness and guidance. We have had an amazing and interesting week with a wonderful service on Tuesday night. Our beloved Pastor encouraged believers to pray without ceasing. Wednesday night we had a church meeting on various topics. The importance of online prayer, the history of Corona Virus and how we as believers and our families can protect ourselves. It was a learning and interactive experience. Our Speakers for the session were Pastor Alice & Dr. Richard respectively. On Saturday evening the Minister of Health issued a directive that there will be no gathering of more than 25 persons due to the Covid-19 epidemic. It was agreed that we would do online prayer amongst the believers. Friday night, we had a powerful prayer session with a timely word from our Pastor. Sunday, we had our first online service at 10 am. We all had a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord. One believer was baptized after the service. We thank God for all that He is doing through our wonderful Pastors in this season. We thank you for your prayers.

USA
The month of March our leaders declared a fast for 21 days from 1st March to 21 March. What a timing, because the Corona virus scare came while we were deep down in prayer and fasting. We thank God because now we know God was preparing us for what was coming. The 10 days letter from the Servant and Apostle of God is beginning to be more and more clear as all the saints now realize what the Prophet of God had already seen in the Spirit. The prayer gave us an opportunity to pray a lot against the Corona Virus and also pray for protection on us and on our families. Sunday services were mostly on live broadcast for most of our churches. Some prayed on the prayer line but a few met in cell groups and held their services. The church is marching on, the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of God. Continue to pray for us for the Corona Virus to disappear and things to calm down and come back to normal. We pray that Shops will be restocked since most grocery shops have empty shelves because people are stocking food in their homes not knowing how long the lock downs will last.
In all this we know that our God reigns and He is on top of the situation.

Michigan - our church was so excited to welcome back Overseers Marurama after two months of being alone without a Pastor. We thank God that the saints continued to hold services every Sunday at the new place of worship that God gave the church in Michigan. We managed to conduct a service within the allowed number in a gathering. There was a beautiful love feast after the service. Prayer request is for more souls to come to Christ and the saints to continue to grow.

AUSTRALIA
Brisbane- The Girls Ministry held their all night prayer on Friday the 20th of March at our Centre in Brisbane, Queensland. Seventeen girls attended the prayer and three joined via Zoom. There was powerful praise and worship. Dancing and rejoicing in the Lord and the speaking in tongues. There was great joy in the house of the Lord. Among other things, we prayed for our families, churches, the Servants and Apostles of God, all Pastors and the current Corona Virus pandemic. God spoke to us through Pastor Molleen and encouraged us to leave the spirit of fear and be courageous young women. We thank God so much for His presence during this prayer.

SOUTH SUDAN
We thank our father, Professor E.H Guti for sending us short term missionaries at such a time like this when the world is experiencing great turmoil and upheaval. We had weekly services with our pastors and the average attendance was 11 adults and 6 children. On Wednesday the pastors taught on salvation and the blood of Jesus which gave believers hope that during such time as this, they are safe. Following the directive from the government of South Sudan that there should be no large gatherings, the pastors had to take drastic measures to ensure that believers continue to be spiritually nurtured during this time. They identified four (4) cell groups and assigned themselves and elders to the various groups to conduct Sunday Services. A total of 30 adults and 15 children attended the cell group Sunday Services. At the main Church, last Sunday two people, a man and a woman gave their lives to Christ. The man was a well-known alcoholic denounced his drinking and smoking habit and received Christ and threw away the packet of cigarettes from his pocket. We thank the God of our father for the prevailing peace in our nation.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE

The year 2020 foundation is the love of God in the church. The purpose today is to warn the people of God to prepare themselves to enter the new year with a clean heart. Everything you didn’t confess, confess it now. It’s better to be disciplined for 3- 6-12 months and it’s over than keeping it and enduring then your life is destroyed.
Hear me today, God wants to do something in 2020. This is a message of warning to every Christian, to everyone.
The year 2020 is different from other years. I encourage you to be strong because there are spiritual things I cannot tell you but only to encourage you to be strong in the Lord. If you are a member of ZAOGA FIF, get away from wrong people. Don’t mingle with people who don’t fear God. God bless you

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
