Apostles Update Week 12 |
MARCH 2021 |
Dear Friends, CHITUNGWIZA Zengeza - We are still grateful for the presence of the Servant and Apostle of God, our Father Archbishop Ezekiel Guti and our mother Dr. Eunor Guti, whom we consider as the ark of God in our city. Here are some of the testimonies from people who have received miracles after our father prayed for them:
What a mighty God we serve. INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY LIVE BROADCAST Pastor Babalo Arosi (South Africa) was passionately sharing this Sunday that “ Prayer is Essential”. He defined the word essential to mean absolutely necessary or extremely important. He also highlighted that prayer is defined as direct communication with God, it is also a relationship and it is loving communication, it is not just an exchange of words. He quoted from the book by Professor Ezekiel Guti The Prayer of a Righteous Man Availeth Much, that “prayer is an expression of faith”. It releases tremendous spiritual power and we gain strength to go on in prayer - it acts as our spiritual immunity booster. It waters your spiritual man, you will always be fresh and it also brings deliverance from all fear. He gave a testimony of how his wife delivered their baby preterm and the baby was having complications and had to be rushed to the ICU but he and his wife stood their ground with prayers. Their son was discharged and to date his development and progress is shocking doctors. Pastor Arosi also pointed out that God enjoys it we rely on Him and speak to Him and He will definitely answer our prayers. The final encouragement was for us to seek God in both the good times and bad times. MOROCCO We give glory to the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti for sustaining His work here in Morocco. Thank you for your prayers which are working effectually. We had a wonderful service on Sunday which was attended by 35 adults and 7 children. The church was greatly edified by the teaching of the history of FIF as many new believers are growing in understanding the vision of their church. We continued with our food fellowship with great joy after the service. Our 4 Bible study groups and 2 prayer services were held during the week with good attendance. TRINIDAD & TOBAGO We thank God for His faithfulness as we continue to experience His grace in our midst. The midweek prayers were low on attendance due to various reasons but prayer continued despite that. Our Sunday service had an attendance of 11 persons. The believers encouraged each other and had time for fellowship after service. May you continue to pray for us that God may strengthen the believers. GUYANA Guyana is marching on. Our Tuesday Ladies meeting attendance was 15 and a soon coming event is a combined Guyana and Barbados Ladies Prayer retreat. Friday Church attendance was 47 and Sunday was a Family Big Sunday, as our nation has a strong Family orientation where the extended families live together. The slogan was 'a Family that prays together stays together' and we had a strong attendance of 92 people at church. We had salvation re-dedications as well and four people will be water baptised on Monday. A notable testimony is that our church bus needed a new battery as well as servicing and one lady from outside Guyana called and said God had spoken to her to send her sacrifice to God through us after her days of prayer. As we speak the bus has been fixed, serviced and the brakes repaired. We rejoice and thank God. BELIZE Punta Gorda/Mango Creek- This week we continued to have a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord as we met for our joint Monday prayer and daily morning Glory services online. Punta Gorda restarted their Wednesday home bible study sessions with 3 active groups. On our Thursday women's meeting Mango Creek continued in the presence of the Lord there was 9 devices logged in a total of 14 ladies. Pastor Helen taught on the power of the tongue, we continued Faith Clinic. On Sunday Mango Creek Christian Centre met online where we had a total of 12 devices connected and Deacon Shannan taught powerfully on Tithes. We also had a wonderful Children's Church with 9 devices connected. In Punta Gorda Christian Centre we met at our Deacons house with 14 people in the adult service and 9 in the children's church. Pastor Julian preached on the importance of holding on in the midst of Adversity. Please continue praying that we find a permanent place of worship for Punta Gorda and pray for Mango Creek as they prepare to start gathering together this coming Sunday ST KITTS & NEVIS Nevis- Our Ladies Go Quickly have picked up momentum with weekly meetings and joining prayer groups on-line such as the Caribbean Elders Group Prayer Retreat which left them filled with the Spirit and rearing to go. Our Men of Integrity group is benefitting from the Pastor’s weekly visits and meetings on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm. Sunday's Worship was rich and powerful. One Member testified of getting a call from a Family member in another island that her Son was not doing well, he had a blood pressure of 300 and cholesterol reading of 300 showing signs of a stroke. She called him and prayed over the phone and the very next day the doctor reported that there was a miracle as he was doing much better and the blood pressure had come back down to normal. Attendance was a total of 28. We pray for the new members we have gained through home visits. BOTSWANA We want to thank our Father, the Servant and Apostle of God, Archbishop Ezekiel H Guti together with our Mother Apostle Eunor Guti for affording our nation to hold a prayer retreat for female Elders. We experienced a life changing conference with our speakers, Bishop E Kataya and Overseer E Haushiko who both taught from the message of Character our Father is emphasizing on these days. It was a time of repentance, weeping, mourning as faith clinic took its course as ladies confessed through WhatsApp and inboxed for counselling. The whole province felt the spirit of God moving like never before. We have been equipped to do the work of God and be true disciples who resemble our Father and our Mother, even in our homes, to serve God with pure hearts. About 218 female Elders across our province participated during this prayer retreat. JAMAICA We thank God for another successful week, as the women of FIFMI Jamaica hosted their District women's prayer retreat. Together with the Jamaican women, we had visitors from Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa and the Caribbean. The women had an opportunity to cleanse themselves through prayer and to confess their issues and concerns one with another. Pastor Nyasha Guti (Zimbabwe) was our guest speaker, she taught powerfully on what our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti imparted to them during the prayer camp held in January 2021. She encouraged us to work on our character so that we can be better wives, better mothers and better Christians. On Thursday we had 22 in attendance, Friday 23 and Saturday 25. With our country being on weekend lockdown, our services are held virtually. On Sunday, we had a combined service with the Portmore and Montego Bay assemblies. There were 30 participants in attendance. Pastor Nyasha continued with the same message and people testified how her teaching impacted their lives. USA On March 19th and 20th, 2021, the Deputy National Administrators FIFMI USA hosted a Child Evangelism (CE) Teachers Training via Zoom. It was a great success, attendees enjoyed and were empowered by the teachings from the CE International Director Petros Dope and Elder Shepherd Shumirai from United Kingdom. The two day training was attended by representatives from all five FIFMI USA regions. There were also FIFMI delegates joining from Belize, Brazil, Jamaica, St.Kitts & Nevis, Uganda, U.K. and Zimbabwe. The Child Evangelism ministry is indeed being strengthened around the globe, praise be to God. UAE Abu Dhabi - The month of March ended seeing the Young Adults ministry having a worship service in preparation for Easter Conference Service with guest speakers, Pastors T and N Muchiuro (USA) who encouraged on keeping the fire burning. Leaders had a symposium on ZAOGA FIF church history and the Character of an Elder. The Kingdom Ladies held their first service with Overseer Rhoda and where 34 gadgets logged in. The month ended with a Kingdom Lifestyle Training for the Hosting team. It was indeed a moment of refreshing hosting skills even in virtual church. We give glory to God that after one year of not meeting physically, we finally managed to have a "Royal Luncheon" this Friday at a local hotel. We had an amazing fellowship which was attended by 50 people. Those who could not attend physically, had a wonderful time as they j an online service with 79 gadgets logging on this Friday. This week:
TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI'S MESSAGE Please note we are repeating this series: Our character is what people know about us, not what we think of ourselves. This is true what I am saying. Female pastors, your character should feed you and not what you get from the office. If you have a character of Jesus, He will feed you. You were hating Overseers and Bishops because you did not know that people know you. Me I changed when I heard people don’t like me because I don’t smile and converse with them. People know you by your character, people know us more than we know ourselves. Don’t argue with people. What you think of yourself is not outside, but your character is outside. How come the grave 3 people saw it differently in John 20?.....TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you. |
We love you and are praying for you, Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai ZAOGA Forward In Faith Ministries Int. +263 777 282 356, +263 777 282 092 info@fifmi.org | www.fifmi.org |
