Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 47

Dear Friends
We are so grateful for the perpetual prayers of the saints and the support from our father, Professor E.H Guti towards our nation. This week, what an excitement it was for our 4 recent new believers to be water baptized. After the baptism home visitations were done to their houses. One person received Christ and another one who was seriously attacked by sinuses and had a persistent cough was instantly healed.
Our services went on well though affected by the festive season fever. Midweek services in San Juan assembly had an average of 7 believers, Belmont 10 believers attended. 7 ladies came to pray on Tuesday. Our Sunday services were successful. We met on a neutral venue due to logistical challenges, 25 managed to come for the service. 2 children were dedicated and several believers got healed from various ailments and conditions.
We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti as He keeps on doing great things in our nation of Guyana. We thank God we introduced our first Monday prayer with 28 people. Everyone was very excited about the Monday prayer as it was a new thing to them. On Tuesday despite the heavy rains 4 ladies attended the prayer. All other services went well during the week. We had a blessed Sunday with powerful Praise and Worship and a powerful Word. 59 people were in attendance including 12 visitors (one was from the Tuesday ladies’ prayer) and 8 of them gave their lives to Christ. We give glory to God. Thank you for your prayers as you keep on praying for our believers to be given off days on Sundays and also for a place of Worship and a mission house.
We continue to thank the God of our father Professor E.H Guti for what He is doing in Lansing Michigan.
Mid-week we gathered as families on Thanksgiving Day and Dr. Norman shared a powerful life-changing Word about families. Among us was a young couple who visited for the first time. Believers are continuing to be grounded in the Word. This Sunday, 7 adults and two children were in attendance, due to bad snow weather others did not turn up. The Word was indeed touching and cutting to the heart. We thank God for a miracle; one of the believer’s mother got sick overseas and was prayed for using the Word of God and was instantly healed. Keep us in prayers as we give out fliers during the week, that many souls come to the Lord. After service we had eats and a wonderful time of fellowship. Once again thank you for prayers.
What a blessed weekend we had at Nashville, TN FIFMI. God remembered us through our Overseers Bevan and Anna Mutata who graced the church with their presence from Friday through to Sunday. The weekend was packed with fellowships, powerful Word and leadership training by the Overseers. We thank God for a great weekend of transformation. The God of our father continues to come through for us. We are in indeed thankful to God for providing us with a much bigger and more comfortable venue where we are paying a third of what we used to pay. Glory to God! In attendance on Sunday, were a total of 28 people inclusive of 7 children and 5 visitors. We continue to seek more souls and pray for the commitment of current members.
We thank the God of Ezekiel for bringing us through another week. We saw the grace of God in our mid-week services as they were well attended. On Sunday, the morning service had 21 people and the night service was attended by a total of 8 people. Given that the Christmas season is fast approaching, some of our believers have to now work on Sundays. Here are some testimonies:
  • A man testified that on Friday morning he was viciously attacked by a man of unsound mind. He confessed that he had backslidden and the incident that morning reminded him that he needed to return to Christ and live as a true Christian. He quickly came back to church and received prayer and also recommitted his life to God.
  • An Elder testified that God sent a 10 year old boy to pray powerfully for him during his time of illness and now he is feeling better.
We appreciate your support and continue to pray for us in Jesus name.
Montego Bay
We give thanks to God for allowing us to see our 1st anniversary. We acknowledge all that He has done through the many Pastors who have helped us to reach this far. We continue to have counselling and prayer on Wednesdays and Bible Study on Fridays.
In our anniversary service, 16 people attended, 11 adults and 6 children. We were delighted to have our Overseer BF Mhundwa who shared how our church started. Other people testified how they came to know about FIFMI and the impact it has had on their lives:
  • One member said she was told about the church by her sister who is a Pastor in our church. When she came the service had just ended but the Pastors welcomed her and prayed for her. She came back the following Sunday and is now a member of the church. She also testified that her life is continuously improving since she joined this church.
  • A brother testified that he had a heart problem but after being prayed for he is doing much better.
  • A sister testified how the teaching on working Talents has allowed her to pay her rent and send her children to school. She shared that she started off very small only selling a few sweets and fruits. Now she has more items as her business is growing. She thanks God for allowing her to learn about working Talents.
Many other testimonies were shared after which we continued celebrating during our fellowship.
Thank you for always praying for us.
This week was characterized by celebrations for both the nation of Barbados which celebrated its 53 years of Independence and FIF Barbados which has just turned 3 years. Glory to the God of our father Apostle E.H Guti.
Wednesday morning Healing and Deliverance service went well with 24 people in attendance and some were delivered from different ailments. A woman who had sleepless nights because of attacks was delivered.
Thursday evening our island celebrated Independence and in commemoration of that we had a service which was all Bajan where we had Caribbean worship, an evening of dance ministry, poetry, and a quiz competition. It was a night of jubilation. Our pastor then taught the Word and we had a fellowship with Bajan treats.

Sunday was powerful as we continued with celebrations at Miami Beach. Many people testified how their lives have been transformed by coming to FIF. People thanked our father for being obedient to God and came to the island. Now their lives have drastically changed.
The pastor then shared the Word and 1 person gave his life to the Lord at the beach. We thank God. We then had a fellowship. Glory to God
The God of our Father continues to bless Nevis in some special ways as we announce the Newest Member of our church, Baby Joachim Ceasar was born to Parents Deacon Josias and his wife Astrid. Our celebration continued on Saturday with our Church Family Beach Picnic where our Members came together and Bar-B-Qued and fellowshipped. Weekly activities continue to grow in attendance as members testify of the goodness of God through heightened prayer and more focus on God. A Member testified as to God watching over her and seeing her through Eye Surgery this past week. She is now seeing much better. Sunday’s worship saw attendance of a total of 32 (22 Adults and 9 Children) and was powerful with a highly interactive Bible Study on the “school of talents”. The Membership was taught how to work talents that will bring them out of debt. We were fed a Powerful WORD afterwards.

We had a wonderful Monday prayer and our new committee had a meeting and the chain of multiplication was implemented. On Thursday we launched our ladies meeting/prayer in our town assembly, where we had 2 ladies in attendance. On Sunday we had a wonderful time in the presence of God. In PGCC Bible Study was on the topic of fasting, preparing people for the upcoming ten days of prayer and fasting. One person gave her life to the Lord and 7 rededicated their lives to the Lord. The joy of the Lord was evident throughout the service Attendance was 16. During home visitations 1 person gave her life to the Lord.
Our Eldridgeville assembly had an attendance of 15 people. Bible Study was also on fasting in preparation for the upcoming 10 days. Our prayer request is that we can have a church Van ready for transportation of some believers and easy access by Pastors to the village assembly.
We thank the God of our father, Professor Ezekiel Guti, for the extension of our Church here in the nation of Rwanda. On Sunday we celebrated the launching of a new FIF assembly in Gisenyi city located in Western Province at the border with DRC, 165km from Kigali city. At this memorable celebration, Kigali main church had a delegation of two Pastors, five Elders, one deacon and nineteen believers inclusive of the praise and worship team who travelled to witness the new assembly launch. The attendance of local believers was very impressive, with 21 children and 49 adults to make the total attendance 97. Pastor Chantal taught on the vision of Forward in Faith, drawing lessons from the history book. Pastor Freddy Magodoro preached a message of salvation, with 10 people giving their lives to Jesus Christ. The Kigali service was also well attended with a total of 55 believers. We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for such a unique week in Rwanda and ask that you continue to pray for us as we wait final approval from the authorities after the application for re-registration in accordance with new regulations.

We give glory to God for being faithful to his servant through the Men's Ministry. From the background of the ministry revival across the country since the beginning of the year. This week on Saturday the 30th of November 2019 we witnessed the Historic, first ever Men Of Integrity (MOI) National Council at Braeside Christian Centre. In-spite of challenges the leaders of the Men's ministry from 30 Provinces in Zimbabwe attended the Historic Council. Apostle Steve Simukai (DSG) was the guest of honour at this Council. It was evident after the Council that the ministry that was founded by our father since 1991 is marching on carrying out its mandate - of raising Men of Integrity and restoring men's Dominion.

Running a business is trying to make money. It does not imply they already have the money. When you have plenty of Jesus, money will come. As you serve God, God will bless you.
Have the spirit of FIFMI inside and trust this God. He spoke to me that if people listen to me He will bless the people. How come you are a member of FIFMI and you are the same as the one who isn't? It is because you see it as a mere church.
When you worship God just for you to get something, you will remain dry. Love God and He will take over. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
