Dear Friends,
RUSSIA
We thank the God of our father for reviving the church of Russia during the 10 days of prayer and fasting. The presence of God was evident during the crossover service as 51 students gathered in a small room to seek the God of our father. We had 5 hours of intense prayer followed by many testimonies. In obedience to the letter, we conducted physical meetings and a prayer convention in Moscow with others joining online. We saw the hand of God during the prayer convention as our guest speaker Elder Mutemaringa charged the church to have the spirit of prayer. 3 students including a Pakistani were baptized in the Holy Spirit and in water. We recorded many powerful testimonies during the 10 days of prayer, some relating to healing, revival, favor in business projects, and an outpouring during the faith clinic sessions. On Sunday, the 12th of January, our Pastor Farai Kupamhamha, charged the church to understand the doctrine of the church through teachings, books, and the Holy Spirit. Following right after was an offline service with one of the students encouraging the church to have a habit of prayer and praise. 35 members were in attendance for this service.
We thank the God of our father, Apostle Professor Ezekiel H. Guti for the power-packed Sunday services. We started with an online service with our Elder Rumbidzai encouraging the church to continue holding on to Christ. Following right after was an offline service with our brother Anesu who charged the church to stay strong in the faith. We thank God for the average attendance of 17 online and 34 offline. We continue fellowshipping through midweek prayer bands, cell groups, GOQ and BOT sessions. As the Russian church, we commit to following the example of our Father Apostle Professor Guti. Pray for us that we can win more and more Russians to Christ. Thank you for your prayers and support.
MADAGASCAR
Fort Dauphin FIFMI is steering the legacy forward. The Church, through the teachings, repented from their culture of starting the ten days on the 2nd of January after celebrating the new year. Some believers came to camp at the church throughout the ten days. Chain Prayers were done from the onset until the end. We had a wonderful prayer convention and the church enjoyed the mighty presence of God during the last day of the Prayer convention. We recorded the highest number of 63 people during the Prayer convention and 3 new souls were added to Christ. Our Pastors took turns teaching the church from the ten-days letter and Baba’s books. On the last day of our ten days, we had a fellowship hosted by Pastor Josephine. We had our big Sunday on the 12th of January. We want to thank God of our Father for the deliverance that took place during the service. The church ended with a wave of Holy Spirit Baptism after Pastor Josephine took the stage and preached on Holy Spirit Baptism. 30 people were baptised for the first time with evidence of speaking in new tongues. A total of 158 people attended the service. Mid-week services are being well-attended.
On Wednesday we conducted a service at Moukala our new assembly. 60 people came to hear the good news, 16 souls were added to Christ and 5 people were water baptised. We want to thank the God of Ezekiel, 3 believers offered us places to put our church structure for free. In the Ambasy assembly, 3 people were water baptised. We want to thank God for the leadership seminar held on the 14th of January, with 15 leaders in attendance. It was a life-transforming experience learning from the feet of our Father through his literature. We had a wonderful time of fellowship after the Seminar prepared by our Pastors. We also want to thank the God of our Father E.H. Guti as we bid farewell to our short-term missionaries, Pastor Peter and Josephine Kuseni who are leaving Madagascar to go back to Zimbabwe after a hectic schedule for the pastor two months.
GUYANA
We give thanks to God for keeping the Forward in Faith family united throughout 2024. The church’s celebration as the New Year approached was deeply moving. The crossover service was a time to witness, testify, and express gratitude to God for His kindness and goodness. The service continued with prayer into the early hours of the following day. Pastor Fanuel delivered a powerful sermon based on the same text preached by our father, the Presiding Bishop, Dr. Joseph Joe Guti. The Holy Spirit moved mightily among us, filling the congregation with joy and delight. This marked the start of a remarkable ten days journey. During the pastor’s ministry, there was significant deliverance, and we give all the glory to God for His mighty works.
We began each day of the Ten Days of Prayer on a positive note, with the church physically gathering for prayer. Chain prayers continued through the night until the morning session. Additionally, we held a powerful prayer convention that lasted three days, with most participants fasting during this period. On Saturday, God showed us His mercy in an extraordinary way. There was a powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and many were deeply touched, including CE children, who were filled with the Spirit. Sunday’s service was a great delight as the congregation experienced a remarkable visitation of the Holy Spirit, leaving us renewed and uplifted. Sunday, we welcomed two visitors, and two children were dedicated. The Word was from the Local Church book. It was a truly wonderful time spent in the presence of the Lord. We thank God for His faithfulness here in Guyana.
As we proceed with the construction of our building, we are witnessing the abundant grace of God in action. On Friday, the church came together for a powerful service where the Elder Minister reminded us that miracles still exist. It was a mighty move of God that stirred hearts and left people in fervent prayer. During the Sunday service, we were blessed with a profound Bible study about the Kingdom of God. Elder Wesley delivered an inspiring message. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
CYPRUS
We want to thank the God of our Father Ezekiel H Guti for blessing us as a nation and for the gift of life. We entered the year 2025 in a very fashionable manner as we all assembled at the Lefkosa Tabernacle. We had a power-packed crossover service and experienced the Holy Spirit’s sweet presence. Attendance was around 350 people and after a powerful word delivered by Pastor Power Sibanda 11 people gave their lives to Christ. We also have been basking in the presence of the Lord during the Prayer Convention that ended on Sunday 5 January. A word of the season was delivered by powerful speakers including our Pastors the Sibandas. On Friday the 4th of January Pastor Power Sibanda conducted a Holy Spirit session, and a lot of people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and other people received different gifts of the Spirit. We also want to thank God for the successful completion of the 10 days of prayer and fasting. We rounded off with a National Big Sunday with Pastor Power sharing the word and had a healing and deliverance session after the word. We want to give glory to God because 5 people gave their lives to Christ as well during that service. We also had the opportunity to receive Holy Communion and rounded up the service with the announcement of new deacons for the year 2025. May you continue to pray for us as we pray for you. Glory be to God.
QATAR
We thank the God of our Father for the New Year and for allowing us to be a part of the 2025 ten days of prayer and fasting 2025. We started the year with our Crossover service which had a very good attendance of 22 men, 22 women,12 Children, and 12 gadgets online.
We then continued with the 10 days of prayer and fasting and we had our prayers online to accommodate everyone as instructed. We also had the prayer convention, with powerful speakers throughout including our very own Middle East Overseer, who spoke to the church on the last day of the convention.
On Friday the 10th we rounded up at our centre where we had an intensive time of praying. Pastor Edmore Chijena spoke a powerful word and we also had the Holy Communion.
Thank you so much for your unwavering support and prayers. Please continue to pray for our church growth and financial increase.
INDIA
Gujarat – Truly, the God of our father has been doing great things for us, and we give Him all the glory! The Rajkot Assembly hosted our short-term pastors, Pastor J. Mabikwa and Pastor T.K. Madzivanyika, for a two-day revival service from the 11th to the 12th of January, with an attendance of 55 and 62 on each day respectively. The revival was a great success as the preachings were not only in word but accompanied by power, resulting in 9 people rededicating their lives to Christ, one person giving her life to Christ, and 6 people beginning to speak in tongues. During this time, the leadership board for 2025, comprising the Executive Board, Deacons, and Workers Board, was also elected under the guidance of our pastors. Additionally, the Rajkot Assembly is thrilled to have found a new place of worship, and for this, we give all glory to God! Meanwhile, Vadodara City Church (VCC), the mother church, held a powerful Sunday service with an attendance of 84, during which Deaconess Dorothy Nabwire delivered a stirring sermon on Grace. We kindly ask for your continued prayers as we strive to be true disciples who are rooted in unity, love, prayer, and the fear of God while remaining grounded in our Church Bible Doctrine.
CAYMAN ISLANDS
The FIF Cayman Islands church joined the other Forward in Faith churches for the ten days of prayer and fasting. We were honoured to receive Bishop Caleb and Pastor Tina Mashushire who came and continued prayer and fasting with the church and then rounded off the ten days. On Friday we concluded the time of prayer and fasting with a celebration service with 40 people in attendance and Bishop Caleb ministered to the church and encouraged the church to continue in prayer. We experienced the presence of God, and we are grateful.
On Saturday, Bishop Caleb and Pastor Tina met with the church leadership for a time of fellowship and encouragement. Sunday 12 January 2025 had 71 people in attendance. Of the 71, 6 were visitors. It was a power-packed service where Bishop Caleb and Pastor Tina shared the word and then ministered to the church in prayer. We had 2 people who gave their lives to Christ. During the service baby dedication and baptism certificates were issued to those who had gone through the process. Toward the end of the service, one more deacon was appointed. After the service, we had a baptism service where five people were water baptised. After the baptism, Bishop Caleb and Pastor Tina visited some of the members for fellowship.
Thank you for all the prayers and support. We thank Bishop Caleb and Pastor Tina for visiting the Cayman Islands church and pray that as they return to their other assignments, the Lord will protect them.
We continue to pray for the Cayman Islands Church to continue to grow and have an impact on the community. Additionally, we pray for our leaders, that the Lord will continue to guide them and direct them as they advise and minister to the church.

TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE
Good things don’t come cheap. Psalm says we sow in tears, we reap in joy.
Psalm 126:5 says, “Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.”
Why did Elijah pray? we learn from him that after God promises something, we still have to pray. When the anointing is upon you, you fear nothing, but when it goes, you ask yourself why did I say that, you may become scared.
When you go before God begging, He is not pleased. Make time to love the Lord and worship Him. God wants us to have peace in our hearts and in our families. Stretch your hand and worship God, He knows you have needs, and He will meet your needs and desires. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Apostle Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
