Dear Friends,
Grand Celebrations Continued
Schools and KMD presentations
The great Apostle of our time Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti and Archbishop Professor Eunor established several educational institutions across Zimbabwe and Liberia which include primary, secondary and tertiary education. His passion and determination to see Christian schools established has been bearing fruits as the schools have been ranked amongst the best in educational achievements.
On Saturday August 5, 2023 and Sunday August 6, 2023, during the Grand Celebrations of Archbishop Ezekiel H. Guti, some of the established institutions came to celebrate his life and legacy through song, speeches, poems, and tributes. The presentations were done by The Grange Christian School (Grange Harare), Ezekiel Guti Christian Primary (Riverside Chitungwiza) established in 2023, Ezekiel Guti Academy (Mutare), Ezekiel Guti Community College (Chitungwiza), Eunor Guti Academy (Bulawayo), and Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU). The presentations highlighted the call, dedication, legacy and influence that the life of Baba Guti had not only in Zimbabwe but for the nations across the world.
The Kingdom Music and Dance ministry (KMD) showcased an energetic performance which was befitting for a hero’s sendoff. They then performed one of Baba Guti’s favorite song ‘Wiseman’ which speaks of a wiseman who built his house on the rock. Indeed Baba you were that wiseman who built his house on Jesus, and lived a kingdom life worthy of emulating. Long live Baba Guti, long live God’s General.
GRAND HOMEGOING
Praise be to God, Bindura – a small town in Mashonaland Central province, Zimbabwe – the place where it all began was honored once again as our father Archbishop Prof Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti was laid to rest at the Old Church site in the ZAOGA FIFMI Bindura Prayer Mountain. Over 5500 people attended the sendoff service held in the Ezekiel Guti Prayer Mountain for all Nations building which included Archbishop Simao and Amai, Archbishop Soko and Amai, ZAOGA FIFMI Bishops, Apostles, and International Executive. Amongst the guests were the Minister of State for Provincial affairs and Devolution Honourable (Senator) Dr. M. Mavhunga, Member of Parliament (Bindura North) Honourable K. Musanhi, Chairperson Women’s league Honourable T. Gezi, His Worship the Mayor of Bindura Councilor Kembo, Chief Mutema of Ngaone, Chipinge and other government officials graced the occasion. In her speech Hon. (Senator) Dr. M. Mavhunga applauded Baba Guti for his principled life and dedication to the work of God, and for providing infrastructural development in the nation and particularly Mashonaland Central. Representatives from other ministries which include Bishop Tudor Bismack, Pastor Tom Deuschle, Dr. Dennis and Ginger Lindsay (CFNI, USA), Dr. Jerry Horner (USA) and Bishop Wiley and Dr. Jeana Tomlinson (USA) sent in their condolence messages in which they all confirmed Baba Guti to have impacted the Christian fraternity as a humble leader who had a passion to spread the undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ and to see people’s lives transformed by the Kingdom of God.
The obituary was then read by Baba’s grandchildren outlining the legend’s journey from humble beginnings of his calling in Ngaone to the tiny seed growing across Zimbabwe and spreading into 168 nations and states. Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti then spoke of the commitment Baba Guti had for lost souls and how he took every given opportunity to spread the word of God. She encouraged the church not to be distracted by material wealth but to continue with the legacy of preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Professor Eunor reminded the church that the key was unity, prayer and love. She went on to present the three Apostles and their spouses, Dr. Joseph and Pastor Nyasha Guti, Reverend Mishael and Pastor Leticia Nyambo, and Drs. Steve and La-Verne Simukai. She urged the church to continually pray for them and not to cause division amongst the three Apostles nor to tell them lies and gossip. We give glory to God for the 6 people who repented as Professor Eunor invited people to come and receive Jesus. What a great testimony of the life of our father of winning souls at all cost!
The procession was then lead by our Mother Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti to the final resting place of our beloved father and national hero Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti. The burial session was then conducted by Archbishop Simao of Mozambique, after which the flower wreaths were placed in honor of our father by our mother first and the government officials. The highest honor of the 21 gun salute was accorded to our father, the sound of the 21 gun salute is a symbol of respect to the hero being laid to rest and thus has to be accorded as a befitting send-off. Your legacy lives in each and everyone one of us Baba, we are forever grateful for your love and dedication to God’s work.
“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Hebrews 13:20-21 NKJV

TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE
An excerpt from the History book
“To the leaders of ZAOGA FIF. Let this be known to every leader of ZAOGA FORWARD IN FAITH MINISTRIES of today, and to those who will come after this generation even to as many as the Lord God shall call into this ministry.
Be it known that unless you are saved, born again, Spirit filled and speaking in tongues and teaching believers to be baptised in the Holy Spirit with the speaking of tongues as the scriptures say in the book of Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46 and encourage them to continue speaking in tongues, you are not qualified to be a leader of this ministry…..” God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Apostle Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
