AUGUST 2026
Dear Friends,
HAPPY 66th ANNIVERSARY ZAOGA FIFMI!
ESWATINI
God highly favoured and remembered the nation of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) when our father and mother, Archbishop Dr. Joseph Joe and Apostle Nyasha Guti, visited to grace the Eswatini Believers Convention from 13 to 16 August 2026. Our parents were accompanied by local pastors from Westgate Mother Church, Evangelist Mr. and Mrs. Munemo.
The event was highly attended, with some believers camping at the venue from Thursday in eager anticipation of our father and mother’s arrival. The convention ended on a high note with a powerful National Big Sunday, attended by 376 people. Our mother, Apostle Nyasha Guti, taught on the importance of preserving the church’s biblical doctrine, pattern, and landmarks. Our father, Archbishop Joseph Guti, encouraged us to be true disciples of Jesus Christ by following the teachings of the church’s visionary, Archbishop Apostle Ezekiel Guti. Evangelist Munemo also ministered, leading to the healing of several people and the rededication of many lives to Christ. We thank our parents for visiting our nation; Eswatini will never remain the same.
HARARE CENTRAL
We give thanks to the God of Ezekiel for a successful General Conference held from Thursday to Saturday at City Christian Centre International, concluding with a powerful Sunday service at Borrowdale District Centre. Harare Central Province was greatly honoured to have Senior Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti with us on Saturday and Sunday. She taught from Luke 2:52, encouraging delegates to have a teachable and disciplined spirit. She reminded us that conferences, Deeper Life meetings, councils, and other programs are opportunities to be repaired, directed, corrected, and serviced so that we become fruitful and profitable in the house of the Lord. She also challenged believers to overcome pride, which can hinder genuine change and lead to disobedience.
Bishops C. & A. Chabarwa and Reverend F. Gudyanga also ministered powerfully on leadership, discipleship, the fear of God, obedience, and cultivating the right attitude for positive results. Attendance averaged 200 delegates from Thursday to Saturday and swelled to over 650 on Sunday. Following Mum’s teaching, delegates were prayed for, including those who committed to overcoming unforgiveness. Indeed, the conference brought life-transforming teachings, and Harare Central leadership will never be the same again.
INDIA
We give glory to the God of Ezekiel for Jalandhar District hosting a powerful 3-day meeting celebrating 4 years of Gilgal Assembly, which began on 7 August 2022. Flying Eagles Assembly joined the services from Friday to Sunday, while Saturday featured a music concert with local gospel ministers and musicians. Sunday’s Big Sunday, led by Pastors James and Seema Gilchrist, saw 114 people attend from Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Dehradun. The pastors shared impactful messages and ministered to the congregation.
In other districts, services were held under the leadership of local elders and deacons, with 30–50 people gathering in each district on Sunday. Jalandhar also celebrated several testimonies, with more than 15 people graduating and preparing to return home. Pastors James and Seema Gilchrist prayed for and blessed the graduates, thanking them for their faithfulness and service to God.
GUYANA
We give praise and thanks to the God of Ezekiel for His goodness in Guyana. The ladies gathered for prayer on Tuesday, followed by a church prayer meeting on Friday. On Sunday, the Pastor led an interactive Bible Study on prayer, deliverance, and trusting in God’s power rather than charms or human protection.
The service continued with powerful praise and worship, during which the Holy Spirit moved mightily. Several people received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues for the first time. We give all glory to God and thank everyone for their continued prayers.
JAMAICA
We give glory to the God of our father, Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti, for a wonderful and refreshing time during our General Conference in Jamaica. We were greatly blessed to have Elders Paschal and Priscilla Changunda from Zimbabwe, who poured into the leaders through rich teachings that brought revival, correction, and a renewed appreciation for the vision and legacy of our ministry.
A major highlight of the conference was the teaching on church history and the importance of every leader knowing and preserving the foundations of the ministry. Leaders were reminded not to remove the ancient landmarks, but to remain grounded in the principles upon which the church was built. The importance of genuine love, unity, and working together as one body was also emphasized. Leaders were further challenged through the five habits of an effective leader: returning to the basics, developing themselves and others, planning and preparing, being effective team players, and remaining productive.
The final night focused on Church Quality Standards and the importance of soul winning, reminding everyone that reaching souls remains central to the church’s mission. Jamaica was truly revived, corrected, strengthened, and encouraged, with leaders expressing their commitment to accountability and applying the teachings received. We are deeply grateful to Elders Paschal and Priscilla Changunda for their sacrifice in coming to minister to us. We thank the God of Ezekiel for preserving His vision and strengthening us to remain faithful, united in love, effective in leadership, and committed to winning souls.
UGANDA
We give thanks and glory to the God of our father Ezekiel Guti for allowing us to host the August General Conference from 13–16 August at the FIF Kibuku National Centre. We were honoured to have Short-Term Missionaries Rev. Samuel and Nyasha Mapokotera as guest speakers, alongside our National leaders Rev. Geoffrey and Rose Wateya, Pastor Julius Okolong, and Elders Livingstone Okongo and Vincent Pablo, who taught powerfully from the conference subjects sent by FIF Headquarters.
The final day was especially impactful, with Rev. Nyasha teaching on talents during Bible Study and Rev. Samuel ministering on the guidance, rules, and policies of FIF. Many people received prayer and healing, 11 people were water baptized, and over 300 people were served food. We give all the glory and honour to the God of our father, Ezekiel Guti, for a blessed and successful conference.
CYPRUS
We give all glory to the God of our father, Ezekiel H. Guti, for a blessed and impactful General Conference held virtually from Thursday to Saturday. Leaders received teachings on prayer and forgiveness, leadership, talents and giving, ministry attendance, Bible doctrine, good working relationships, discipleship, the FIF pattern, and the church’s guidance, rules, and policies.
The conference concluded with a powerful National Big Sunday, featuring the joyful celebration of the marriage of two elders. Believers also shared testimonies of how they are using their home talents to meet their needs.
It was particularly encouraging to hear several believers who, after several years without permits, testified of the goodness of the God of Ezekiel as they experienced breakthroughs and received their permits. Pastor Power Sibanda ministered on “Kingdom Relocation,” followed by a powerful Holy Spirit session where believers were refreshed, strengthened, and delivered.
We continue to give all glory to the God of our father, Ezekiel H. Guti, for His work in the lives of His people and for the advancement of His Kingdom. Surely, we will not remain the same through your prayers.

Our pastors ministered on the Kingdom of God, and several believers suffering from chronic leg and back ailments received divine healing. One woman also received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour. We kindly ask for continued prayer that the souls being won will be firmly established and remain steadfast members of the Forward in Faith family.

TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE
Don’t admire anything which you don’t know where it comes from. Let’s admire people who fear God.
The important thing in this church is not how much you pray or fast, but it’s how much the fear of God is, and not the fear of man. If you want to admire a person, don’t admire the gifts but admire the life of the person. Some preachers have very enticing words, but there is no fruit in their preaching. You need to have a discerning spirit so that you are able to know the right spirit……God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you.
