Dear Friends,

In this new season we are grateful to be part of a church that is going somewhere. The Angel of this church continues to move with the church of God. We are receiving testimonies of the great things God did and continues to do in the lives of the people, as a result of being introduced to the God of Ezekiel, the God of miracles. Like Baba said, this church will not die but God will raise many young Ezekiels. Indeed it is happening. Let’s be reminded of what he said to us on his 99th birthday, “Follow the Light…. see the Light”. God remains faithful.

MOROCCO

We thank the God of our father for a joyous and glorious weekend as the assemblies of Marrakech and Casablanca came together for our Big Sunday. We started on a high note with a night of worship with 56 individuals in attendance. The two praise and worship teams united to give a great showing. On Sunday, we had a record attendance of 81 individuals. There was joy, deliverance, and restorations during the Big Sunday. We received several touching testimonies of deliverance and the transformation of lives through the teachings of FIF. We had time for food fellowship after the service. This Big Sunday also marked the occasion of bidding farewell to Pastors T. Kahwema and J. Dhlakama, who completed a highly impactful short-term missionary visit. They had time to announce the incoming pastors, and the news was received with great jubilation.

THAILAND

We thank the God of Ezekiel who has continued to be faithful to the church in Thailand. We were sad to bid farewell to pastors Learnie and Prim Nyanzara who were on short-term missionary work. Many people testified of the goodness of God and the impact they made in their lives during their mission. This week we welcomed two new ladies who relocated to Thailand and have pledged to make FIF their home, glory to God the God of our Father! Our weekly programs went on as usual with a good attendance for the services. The girls and boys met separately on Saturday and they had highly fruitful meetings. On Sunday we had a total attendance of 42 people; 15 people onsite and 27 online. The service was very powerful and the joy of the Lord undeniable. During Bible study, we had an enlightening discussion on the importance of ministering, facilitated by Elder Heather. Later elder Becky shared powerfully on faith which places a demand on God. After the teaching, people came forward to be prayed for and many testified the goodness of God. Some testimonies:

One lady testified how she got a better job in Bangkok after she had been dismissed without notice at her former job.

A young man testified of the great love he received when he came to Thailand and how he has experienced significant spiritual growth since he started fellowshipping with us.

Another lady testified how God made a way for her work visa when she went back home to process it.

Thank you for continuing to pray for us as we pray for you.

GUYANA

Our weekly services are continuing including Tuesday ladies prayer. Friday the people came in numbers expecting something great from the Lord, the word was ministered by Pastor Fanuel he encouraged the people, Do Good Work! Last Sunday people were called and prayed for who was expecting a job or scholarship. Deacon Rose testified she got through with a job that she applied for, Deacon Cecilene also testified about the scholarship her daughter received. Praise be to God. On Sunday 27th August 2023, Bible study went well. There was powerful praise and worship, believers were ready to hear the word of God. Pastor Fanuel read from the book “Precious Things” written by Apostle Ezekiel Guti. People were called and prayed for, we thank the God of Ezekiel for His faithfulness.

GERMANY

Hannover – We want to thank God so much for such a sacred and uplifting service that we had on Sunday in Hannover. We had an inspiring Bible study from Overseer Owoseb and a powerful word from Overseer Sophia Owoseb from the book of Isaiah 58. The word was indeed powerful teaching the church the true fasting emphasizing on forgiveness. A lady who just came for the first time was healed from the pain that she had for a long time on her right arm, glory be unto God. 16 Adults (including two visitors), 4 Children were present and 38 joined on Zoom. We give glory to the God of Ezekiel for His presence throughout the service. May God give us grace to continue with our physical services.

Berlin – We thank the Lord that as Berlin Assembly we had a powerful all night physical prayer Friday after a long time. On Saturday we hit the streets preaching and giving out flyers. We ended the day with water baptism. 2 of our members were baptized.

CANADA

Vancouver

We are grateful to the God of Ezekiel for our new Pastors, Joshua and Rejoice Kufaruwenga. There is great joy in the Province of British Columbia, they have been encouraging and strengthening the church, drawing from the books written by our father, Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Guti, and the Word of God. They both have been strongly teaching the Church during Morning Glory, Wednesday and Friday Evening Services to seek the Spirit of Prayer that was exhibited in the life of our father. Our Morning Glory attendance has significantly increased since then. The God of our father keeps on doing great things. This week we saw the planting of a new Assembly in Kamloops, BC. We thank the God of Ezekiel for giving us a convenient and affordable meeting place. On Saturday, our Pastors hosted a barbecue that was attended by 10 University students. Our Sunday Service was attended by 14 University students. Glory to God. Pastors Josh and Rejoice both delivered powerful teachings that ignited a deep desire to emerge as the True Disciples, and the young Ezekiels who will carry on with the work of God.

Ontario and Quebec

We thank the God of our father as we also joined the rest of the world to celebrate and remember the life of the Apostle and servant of God, Professor E.H. Guti. Our services were like no other as we had representatives from the diverse ministries testifying on how they were impacted by our father’s life, teachings and direct ministration. Pastor Thembinkosi Mupangeri would encourage us that during this transitionary period, as our father left things in order and sure signs for us, we should in remembrance, continue to teach our children the ways of ZAOGA FIFMI so we continue under the same covenant with the God of our father. We witnessed 3 people give their lives to God and welcomed 13 visitors. We are grateful to God to have been a part of the celebrations for our father, Archbishop Ezekiel Guti Handinawangu. We are also witnessing good things happening in our Church through our Pastors. The Church is marching on. Thank you for your prayers.

CAMEROON

Douala – Glory unto the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti. We are seeing the hand of God as the church is growing day by day. Our missionaries Pastors W and C Muhana visited one family after an invitation to pray and 3 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ, praise be unto to God. We continue to celebrate the life of our father and taking on the baton of kingdom expansion. Our mid week activities continued with our Friday prayer well attended. We now have 3 fully functional home cell groups. One lady testified how she got a job after being prayed for by our pastors. 38 people attended service (29 adults, 9 Children. 3 were visitors). Bible study was done by Pastor Concie on giving using the book Talents. The Word was shared by our Elder Charles on the Economy of the Kingdom of God and charged the church to continue in the teachings of our father.

We had Deacons training seminar on Saturday. We are believing God for a bigger place of worship and the church registration.

ZIMBABWE

Zimre Park

We had a unique Sunday, a surprise visit by our very own National Executive Chairman, Apostle Dr. Joe Guti who graced our service at Zimre Park church. He started by thanking the church of Zimre park for standing up and supporting all the activities during the transfer of our father into glory. He came to refresh our memory about the role our mother was playing silently as is written in the introduction of the book written by our father “The Local Church.” The central message he shared was to hold on to the things we have learnt from our father, 2 Timothy 3:14 says “You, however, must continue in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know who taught you”. We do not need to eat food from the neighbours for we have all the food we need in our church in the books he wrote for us. After sharing the word of God, 23 people received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and several others were delivered from various ailments and demonic oppressions. We would like to thank the God of our father Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti for a blessed Sunday that He had made for us.

Zone 4

We give glory to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti, Child Evangelism Zone 4 (Norton, Westgate, Kuwadzana) held Emerging Generation YG 1 and 2 Conference from 15 to 18 August. It was well attended with delegates ranging from 221 to 680 with KMD Director Pastors Theory and Promise Maduche as the guest speakers. The Conference started on Wednesday morning with Salvation teachings which witnessed 85 souls giving their lives to Jesus Christ. The Child Evangelism Director Pastor Petros and Regina Dope graced the Conference where he addressed delegates on the life and legacy of our father ” the African Apostle” Baba Guti. We had facilitators from the three Provinces joining our Guest Speakers and addressed on topics such as: Drug and Substance abuse, Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship, Adolescence, Church History and Doctrine. Deliverance sessions were conducted at the pre-camp and during main conference session and children were delivered and set free from various spirits such as watching pornography, addiction to sex before marriage, unforgiveness, hatred, drugs and confusion. The highlight of the conference was the official opening ceremony which was combined with the Glitz and Glamor night where the delegates dressed up for the night event. Presentations including drama, dance groups, modelling and singing captivated the audience. KMD set the stage for all participants. Holy Spirit Baptism was then conducted and 105 were baptised for the first time and others were refilled. We are grateful for the support from our zone 4 leadership and Zonal Pastor G Gwande. Child Evangelism Zone 4 will never be the same.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

An excerpt from the History book

“..It does not matter, how much money a person gives to the church, unless he is saved, has refrained from drinking alcohol, smoking and fornication 2 Corinthians 5:17 (“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”) and is moving in the fear of God, you are not allowed to be in leadership. This is necessary, in order to avoid you from discouraging others from loving God and pursuing holiness..…..” God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,

Apostle Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
