December 31, 2024

Dear Friends,

Happy 64th Anniversary ZAOGA FIFMI!

Seasons Greetings! God has been gracious, 2024 is almost over. We are thankful to God for His protection and providence we have witnessed throughout the year. As we prepare for 2025, don’t be left out of the Ten Days of Prayer and Fasting. Make an appointment with God to seek His face and make prayer deposits for the year so when it is time to make a withdrawal, it will not say “insufficient funds”.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

We thank God for the International Crossover Sunday where once again the Church of ZAOGA FIFMI worldwide joined to hear the word of God as we transition into a new year 2025. Our Father, the Presiding Bishop Dr. Joseph Joe Guti, encouraged the Church to prepare through prayer and fasting, following the pattern established by our Father, Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti. He emphasized that this is a corporate effort, urging us to pray in faith and to avoid speaking negatively, which could undermine our prayers.
Throughout the message, we were reminded of the importance of walking in unity, love, prayer, and the Fear of God. This Fear is not just verbal; rather, it calls us to imitate the reverence our father showed toward God. In conclusion, he highlighted that since the days of John the Baptist, the Kingdom has faced challenges, and the violent take it by force. Therefore, as we pray, we must be aggressive in our petitions and avoid ritualistic prayers.
The presence of God was evident during the service, leading over 300 people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. The sick were prayed for, and numerous healings occurred, giving glory to the God of Ezekiel for the great deliverance experienced as people begin the new year with renewed lives in Christ.

THE YEAR 2024 IN REVIEW Pt 2

We are thankful to God for His grace. 2024 has been a great year. We continue to look back at the journey of 2024 with appreciation and reflection.

GO QUICKLY & TELL
This year was packed with powerful Go Quickly Women’s Conferences held around the globe. Some of the nations that held women’s conferences were Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, South Africa, Tanzania, and Kenya. Congratulations to Kenya who experienced their first physical Women’s conference this year.
The Single Women Ministry also held conferences and Big Sundays. Many souls came to Christ; some received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and some received emotional healing, as well as starting new chapters in their lives.

HOME TALENTS
Home talents were done on another level all over the FIFMI world as people have wholeheartedly embraced the vision of Home Talents, resulting in significant achievements such as purchasing cars, furniture, and houses, renovating homes, and installing solar systems. Many have established businesses in different areas like poultry and greenhouse farming, piggery, manufacturing, schools, tutoring, consultancy, and many others. Some have transitioned from selling from their cars to opening shops, while others are running successful online businesses. Testimonies of people being able to put food on their tables, send their children to school, have meaningful savings, and pay off debts and credit cards through the School of Talents continue to be heard. Praise be to the God of Ezekiel!

YOUTH
We give glory to the God of Ezekiel for several Youth conferences held worldwide, including the International Youth Conference in Beira, Mozambique, and the first edition of the Europe Youth Conference (EYC) held in Warsaw, Poland.

GRACIOUS WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL 40th ANNIVERSARY
The Gracious Women’s Fellowship International ministry celebrated 40 years of building marriages and families through the Word of God. Indeed, it was a historic gathering and legacy of the Servant and Apostle of God, Prof E. H Guti lives on with this powerful interdenominational vision reaching out to women all over the world building kingdom marriages and families.

ZAOGA FIF GROUP OF SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
We thank the God of Ezekiel for His faithfulness for the excellent Cambridge and Zimsec results in our Primary schools. Ezekiel Guti Primary School Bulawayo and Ezekiel Guti Christian Primary School Riverside/ Chitungwiza managed to have a 100% pass rate for their first seating. The Grange Primary School also had a 100% pass rate, praise be to the God of Ezekiel!
We continue to witness the legacy continuing with the following developments in schools. The completion of the state of the art 4 Classroom block at Eunor Guti Academy in Bulawayo and boarding facilities at Eunor Guti Christian Secondary School in Nyanyadzi. The Youth Ministry completed the beautiful 4 Classroom block at Ezekiel Guti Christian Primary School in Gwanda. Glory be to God!

MBUYA DORCAS HOSPITAL
The year began with fervent prayers that were being stirred by our mom for the Mbuya Dorcas Hospital (MDH) as the bishops and overseers came to MDH praying continuously. It is true prayer is a powerful force. God raised and continues to raise individuals, families, districts, and provinces that are taking part in fulfilling the vision that was shown to our father Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti.
The new beautiful centre for Counselling, Healing, and Deliverance (non-medicine wing) has just been completed. Hallelujah!! The following equipment has been acquired, for the new Surgical wing: equipment for the 3 new theatres, the 4 bedded ICU, and 4 bedded HDU and the 10 bedded surgical ward. Work in progress includes the Diabetes Centre, MRI, Cath Lab, mammogram, and ?Postgraduate training school for ICNs and OTNs. We continue to thank the God of Ezekiel for hearing our prayers and for raising more burden bearers for the fulfilment of this vision.

ZIMBABWE EZEKIEL GUTI UNIVERSITY
The University Successfully held the 8th Graduation Ceremony on the 3rd of May 2024. A total of 423 graduates from four faculties were awarded degrees. Amongst other key appointments that took place, our Father, the presiding Bishop, Dr Joseph Joe Guti was installed as the 2nd Chancellor of the University. Six Academic staff members were funded by the University to attend and present at International Conferences in China, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. Glory be to God!
Five Law Schools in Zimbabwe participated in the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court competitions, ZEGU came first in the preliminary rounds and proceeded to the finals that were held at the High Court of Zimbabwe and came second. Glory be to the God of Ezekiel, for truly the vision of building a total person is being fulfilled as there were outreaches and spiritual word festivals that took place in the year. Powerful deliverance and spiritual enrichment took place, many souls came to Christ, and they were water-baptized and Holy Spirit-filled.

EZEKIEL GUTI JR. (EJ) LEGACY SCHOOL
We give glory to God for the Ezekiel Guti Jr Legacy Centre. The year 2024 was full of progress as God is raising people to partake of the grace by partnering with God through this vision. The school opened early this year, and now the school has enrolled 18 students, of which 6 are boarders. The school has state-of-the-art learning equipment in their classes. Specialized interventions include speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. Many thanks for donations from the international and local churches like food, stationery, wheelchairs, Laptops, and many other things. Miracles are happening, a child who came in a wheelchair now walks unaided. Some who could not feed themselves can now feed themselves. Praise be to God!!
The board hosted an upmarket Christmas party where our Mum Prof Eunor Guti bought special gifts for each child. We continue to pray that we may have more sponsors to sponsor fees for the children since most of them cannot afford the required tuition.

THE PRESIDING BISHOP
It was at this year’s Male and Female Pastors Conferences in September that our father, Apostle Dr. Joseph Joe Guti, the International Executive Chairman, was consecrated to be The Presiding Bishop of ZAOGA FIF Church. Congratulations once more to our father, Bishop Dr Joseph Joe Guti. Glory be to God!
The prayers made by people like you have not fallen on deaf ears. God has honoured them, and we continue to give Him glory as we prepare to enter 2025.
Please note this is our last apostles update for 2024. We will meet again after the Ten Days of Prayer and Fasting.

TEACHING: PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

A reminder:
The purpose of Ten Days of prayer and fasting is to prepare to enter the new year. So, when the enemy comes you will have already prayed. You can mention every month as you pray like I used to, praying for January to December. We don’t know what is in the year. Some years are good, and some are bad, but we are moving on. We trust God to protect us.
As we pray let’s read the word of God. Find time to cleanse ourselves. Pray using the word of God. Pray in faith. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,

Apostle Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
