The Harare South Province held an explosive Talents Celebration conference during the weekend of November 10 to November 13. Harare South Province comprises of: Waterfalls, Highfield, Budiriro, Sunningdale, Mbare, Rugare, Glenview, Glenora, Southerton, and AMFCC Bible School.
Running concurrently were the celebration conferences for Harare North, East, West, and other areas in greater Harare. The Harare South gathering was held at AMFCC in the Tabernacle, where at its peak, the 4,000 plus-seater auditorium was full. The main speaker during the event was Bishop Patana from Bulawayo, who encouraged the church throughout the weekend, together with other special guest speakers.
The highlight of the conference was the arrival of Apostle Eunor Guti, who was touring the different provinces in Harare to bless the people for their hard work during the 2011 ZEGU Talents. The Apostle spoke a word of encouragement, coupled with a word of warning concerning the tricks of the devil after a time of victory: We have worked talents. Lets not relax and think the devil was sleeping. The devil is waiting to steal your blessing. The first thing he does is to take off your mind from the Lord and try to cause you to begin to doubt God. As soon as you doubt you begin to lose your blessing. If it is a test from God, you will know because God will never abandon you. Be sober, vigilant, for the devil roams about like a roaring lion.
To conclude her message, Apostle Eunor read from 1st Chronicles 29, a scripture in which King David and a great assembly of the children of Israel had given sacrificially to the Lord. Apostle Eunor began shouting and prophesying “Showers of Blessings” which brought the crowd to rejoicing and shouting.
The Talents celebrations concluded with a dynamic Sunday Service in which thousands were awarded certificate for their hard work towards ZEGU.
