Forward in Faith Ministries International is growing and growing! We are pleased to announce that God is continuing to grow, strengthen and establish the new Forward in Faith church which was planted in Jamaica on Thursday September 17, 2015.  Since its establishment, the church has already impacted lives of many through the great work which God put on the heart of His servant Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti.  The servant of God has spent much time grounding the church which is located in Portmore, a town southwest of Kingston—the first of many future locations of FIFMI in Jamaica.  Below are reports of the activity that has taken place since the church opening to date. 

 

September 21, 2015

The God of Ezekiel has done it again for the third time in 3 months, we have a new FIFMI baby – Jamaica. This is definitely the results of the prayers we made for Jamaica.  The FIFMI seed has been planted in Jamaica, Glory to God. Yah man God is good. The Jamaica FIFMI church started on Thursday night with an attendance of 42 people, Friday saw an attendance of 64, Saturday had an attendance of 53. The Sunday morning service had 34 in attendance whilst the evening service had 70 in attendance. The total number of people who received Jesus Christ is 66. The Gospel Crusade with the legendary father and veteran evangelist, was a big success. This is a testament to the power of prayer.

 

It is amazing how God revealed himself about the coming of the Apostle and servant of God in Jamaica. Some people had already seen visions before the arrival of Baba and Amai. Other people said they saw an angel standing behind Baba when he was preaching. One man says he just feels great fatherly love from Baba. During the services someone just couldn’t leave the venue because of the presence of God that they sensed. One woman knew that her trouble would end in a church coming from Africa, although she had no idea where or when until Forward In Faith arrived. There is a lady who confessed to being restless because of the desire she has to tell others about the unique seed she has found, just like the Samaritan woman who ran into the city to tell people about her encounter with Jesus. A young man walked into the Sunday evening session and felt a unique peace that was in the building and his heart confirmed that FIFMI is his home, so he asked when water baptism will be done. This is a testimony that God answers prayers

.

Baba took time in the 3 days laying the apostolic foundation and teachings on the Kingdom of God.

It is amazing that after shaking hands in greeting with the Apostle and Servant of God, a lady who had a problem with anxiety and fear, felt an itching sensation in her whole body and when she arrived home she vomited something and now she is free from anxiety and fear.

A lady who had throat pain was healed.

A woman who had breast cancer was healed.

A university student who had a problem of memory failure confirmed being healed and now her memory is working well.

A lady who had pain throughout the body was healed.

The man who is our driver was in another church after he got saved he called his wife to come and see Baba and Amai too just before the Saturday evening service. The lady said her husband can go to any church but she was not going to join him. Baba invited her to simply attend the service and she agreed. When Baba said, “For God so loved the world…,“ with a thick anointed voice, she jumped up from her seat and walked fast going forward. She was the first one forward.  She got saved and delivered. She testified on Sunday and because she is a school teacher who lives 1-2 hours drive, she needed to go home early. Surprisingly she attended the evening service and was rejoicing.

This is the doing of The Lord! Many other miracles have happened.

 

Glory to God we found a mission house. Despite the fact that Jamaica is a very expensive country, the Apostles have paid for the venue, bought chairs and bought all the furniture and kitchen utensils for the mission house. Among many others things the team witnessed the great sacrifice that the Apostles do on the mission field. The triple union of the FIF Youth Australia, Zimbabwe youth ministry and the Zimbabwe girls ministry have bought a state of art music instruments. Keep praying for the Apostles as they labor in Jamaica. Thank you for the prayers. Jamaica for Jesus!!

FIFMI Jamaica is marching on. From Monday to Sunday our attendance has been an average 36 members. 6 people received the baptism in the Holy Spirit during the week. There was great deliverance as people were vomiting during the Saturday night service. The teachings from Baba and Amai are a new thing in Jamaica and the people are so excited as the laying of the foundation of FIFMI continues. One family came to church by an invitation of just seeing the church name on the building. This is a miracle because people did not want to be associated with the building because of a previous church that was there had hurt people

 

The Sunday evening service had 29 in attendance. One woman came to visit the Apostles of Jesus Christ and upon finding out she was not saved, they immediately got to work. They taught on salvation and she got saved. After the teaching on the Holy Spirit, she received her baptism in the Holy Spirit. They proceeded to teach on water baptism. They searched for a pool and at 6:30pm they baptized her then went to church at 7pm. She got drunk in Holy Spirit again then she heard the Holy Spirit saying many people talk about me but they are far away, however I’m going to do a mighty thing here. We had great Sunday school teachings on prayer from Apostle Eunor and Baba took over the main service grounding people in God and FIFMI. 3 people were water baptized. Thank you for the prayers. Here in Jamaica we are continuing to see God’s grace as the apostolic foundation is being laid. From Monday to Sunday we had an average of 30 people a day in attendance. 8 people received Christ. 3 people were water baptized. 7 people were Holy Spirit baptized.

Healing:

A man suffering from throat pain due to tonsils was healed.

A man who had a backache was prayed for and healed without any laying on of hands.

A man whose knees were aching and so painful was healed. He then ran to and fro in the church.

A boyfriend and girlfriend who ran into the church physically fighting on Friday night, were

prayed for. The woman was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke with tongues while the man received his deliverance. A man who recently came from 3 years imprisonment testified how much he felt being accepted in FIFMI. Baba clothed this man and he looks so different from when he first came to church. One lady heard music from her home and she is now coming to church. God is wooing people through the sweet music they hear when walking in the road and some in their house. Pray that they will not be afraid to follow what they sense God is saying to them that FIFMI is their home. Counselling with the servants and Apostles is continuing daily. Baba taught during the Sunday morning service. Amai preached during the main service. There is great joy as people continue to be grounded in FIFMI

Jamaica for Jesus! Great things are happening here. We are thankful to God that this whole week our attendance ranged between 35-50 members. Baba and Amai took quality time to teach the church as they laid the apostolic foundation. The love in the church is so strong that people stay in the church 2 hours after service is over just for fellowship. We witnessed the healing of backaches, knee problems and throat pain among other things. We thank God for providing money for Baba and Amai to buy a car for FIFMI Jamaica. Praise the Lord.

Some highlights:

 A woman who had trouble getting a birth certificate for 20 years was prayed for and got it the next day. Her husband was surprised because they had struggled for many years.

A couple who went to bid farewell at the church where they were leaders, were surprised to be told by many members of that church that their countenance had changed.

A man who is a leader in the police force testified to feeling so different after coming to FIFMI and many things have already changed in his life

Many people testified that they miss being in church when they are at work, a feeling they never used to have.

Others said the way the word is taught in FIFMI is so simple that it touches the heart

A taxi driver who has been coming to church every evening testified that he was so moved by FIFMI that even though you make the most money during peak hours, he has decided to leave the prime time for church.

Many people said the way things are done in FIFMI administration has opened our eyes to see that this is a different church.

Sunday was our first day to receive tithes and offerings. The new committee was commissioned. Everything was done with excitement. At the end of the service, many people went forward to be blessed as FIFMI members. They were so happy and felt free. Oh, God is doing His own work that He predestinated before the foundation of the world. Indeed God moves with His servant! Glory to God.

We give glory and honor to the God of our father for His mercies endure forever. FIFMI Portmore Jamaica is growing and progressing in His grace which continues to abound. The Wednesday evening service was attended by 21 people and 20 on Friday. On Sunday the numbers began to climb remarkably as morning service was attended by 25 people and the evening service by a record 48 people. On Friday afternoon a man walked into the church to receive Jesus Christ as His personal Savior without any invitation from anyone. Glory to God. Another woman also came seeking someone to sign her papers and received the Lord Jesus as her personal Savior.

Sunday morning was very powerful as the Holy Spirit moved mightily in both services and people were healed and delivered from various diseases. One woman was healed from arthritis and another from back ache. A husband and wife were healed from painful feet and legs. 3 people received the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior. Truly His mercies endure forever as we are seeing the seed sown by the Apostle and Servant of God and our mother continuing to thrive. Hallelujah!

The new church birthed last week in the Dominican Republic is growing in leaps and bounds. Truly God is with his servants Baba and Amai Guti. Things are moving at a great pace. The youth from Republic of South Africa bought a set of instruments. In addition the church in Australia bought the church van.

Friday night we experienced a record increase in attendance almost doubling Wednesdays’ attendance. We had 107 people worship with us and 17 people gave their lives to Christ. The composition of the church is varied from old grannies, middle aged and lots of youth and young adults. We are seeing people testifying enthusiastically of their love for God, the servant of God and Forward in Faith Church saying it’s now their spiritual home.

Sunday morning service we had 75 people, 41 adults and 34 children. The Servant and Apostle of God taught on prayer and living in the word as the key to living a victorious life. The evening service had 52 adults and 25 children. Baba preached a very powerful message on the power of God resulting in 22 people receiving the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior.
