Apostles Update Week 9

Dear Friends
We want to thank you for your prayers indeed God is answering them as we are seeing tangible results. God has been showing grace to the team as they went out distributing flyers and the response has been positive as people really wanted to know about the church. We thank God for Pastor G Maseko although he has left the Island, for doing a great job together with the team. The weekend was a fruitful one with the revival starting on Friday night up until Sunday. One new member came to our church this Sunday and she testified how God spoke to her about our ministry. We welcome Overseers B and T Nyamahowa, the church received them with joy. We had a powerful Sunday service and one soul gave his life to the Lord, to God be the glory. We had 10 local believers in attendance. We pray that God may continue to strengthen them through his Word. We are seeing a great breakthrough God honoring his Servants Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti and we are joyfully announcing the breakthrough of the Go Quickly ministry which is all set to come together this Tuesday. Indeed God is honoring His servants as they pray for us tirelessly and continue to give us direction and much love.
We want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness in our nation. Monday no one attended prayer for it was the day for elections but attendance was good on Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday we could not have service because of the tense situation which was there after the Presidential results were called out. We need your prayers for the Will of God to prevail in our nation.
Sunday we had a powerful service giving hope to the believers and encouraging them to stay in the kingdom of God. 48 people attended the service and we ended our service with fellowship. Thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for our nation for peace to prevail and for God to do His will in choosing a leader for the nation.
We were blessed to have a productive week as our nightly services were blessed. The Women of FIF St. Kitts met on Tuesday and had a powerful prayer meeting. Bible study saw 10 believers coming out to continue our learning of the Word. The Young Generation had a fun filled night singing, learning memory verses and playing games in the presence of God. The Friday evening prayer session was attended by 4 believers coming together to pray. The Ladies meeting with Pastor Vee was a life changing session, the Pastor taught on the theme of the year and working with our own hands. We had a combined leadership meeting on Saturday afternoon, were both leaders from St Kitts and Nevis attended. Bishop Chikwawawa took time to ground leaders and to prepare them for the future growth of the church. Sunday service saw an attendance of 21 believers. The service ended with fellowshipping of the believers. Our Outreach Ministry began Sunday, with a team of 5 person going to J N F Hospital to visit the sick on the Medical and Surgical Wards. It was a wonderful time as we prayed and spoke to people, encouraging them and spreading the love of God.
We give thanks and praise to the God for bringing our members back. Over the past week we have seen an increase in attendance with last Monday's Prayer seeing one of the highest attendance ever of 18 members and other activities seeing higher numbers than usual. Our Ladies Group has restarted and is fired up as plans are put in place for the next three months. Over the past week Our Leaders were being taught by Bishop Jonathan Chikwawawa, who used the Books of our Father, Archbishop Dr. E.H. Guti, to expand our knowledge and growth as we prepare to stretch out into the community. Sunday's service was fired up with 36 people in attendance. One Member testified that after attending prayer on Monday night she returned home to find her son not feeling well, she laid her hands on him and commanded the devil to take his hands off him and he immediately started feeling better. We had a wonderful fellowship afterwards.
We thank the God of our father for a powerful week of fasting and prayer amidst Deeper Life feedback. From Monday to Friday, members from 6 Schengen nations -namely Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Italy connected on Skype to pray for the Servant and Apostle of God, Professor Ezekiel Guti, for soul winning and our Schengen Deeper life conference. Saturday was reserved for the leadership. Each prayer session ended with powerful feedback from international Speakers, who included Admin Overseer S. Mbizvo, Overseer C. Marurama, Overseer P. 9. Thanking God for your nation.
You are slaying people, having people fall down and they go back hungry with no food but Jesus said Philip, we must do something. So I’m saying bring food and eat together
The Church of God must go back and bring food to the church. If you do that you will please God. The foundation for 2020 is the love God
Luke 12: 1-5 - “In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!”
Wherever there is food, you will see bad people coming too.God knows what you are doing. Fear Him who after he has killed he has power to cast you into hell.
It is important to fear God. Bad people also came in Jesus’ meeting and Jesus had to warn them. Wherever there is food, bad people will also come. Don’t be surprised. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
