Dear Friends,
Happy 64th Anniversary ZAOGA FIFMI!!
GUYANA
Thanking God for the spirit of grace and supplication, the weekly service continued on Tuesday as ladies reached online to pray. On Friday, our speaker was Pastor Fanuel, who read from the book “Prosperity That Comes Through Obedience”. On Sunday, the church gathered for fellowship as the powerful praise and worship led us. The speaker was one of the student pastors who ministered the same message from Friday, and he was not at church that evening using the same book (Prosperity That Comes Through Obedience). It was a confirmation. Two people were baptized. Please continue to pray for the construction of our building and that we will continue to have good weather.
BARBADOS
In our morning glory from Monday to Friday, we are seeing more people rising early in the morning to pray. Bishop Johnathan and Rev Greater Chikawawa continue with the Elders, Deacons, and also the newly chosen finance Committee training sessions. On Friday night we had such an awesome time in the presence of God, Bishop Johnathan reminded us to be faithful, love each other live in unity, and be at peace with each other. Bishop also shared such a powerful testimony that caused every leader to come to the altar. On Saturday we witnessed the departure of our Bishop Johnathan and Rev Greater Chikawawa back to the United Kingdom. We thank God for all we have received through our Bishops for the past few weeks. The Sunday service was on fire, and many testified of what God is doing in their lives. Our Bible study facilitator Pastor Hazel took the teaching from our father’s book Sunday morning Bible lecture “Extending the Kingdom of God”. We saw the believers participating in the Bible study. After the powerful worship, Pastor James preached powerfully under the theme “Are you a victim or are you a victor”? and the message was well received. In attendance 24 persons. We thank God for another successful week. Please continue to pray for the church in Barbados.
BELIZE
For our midweek services, faithfully logged-in for morning glory ranged from 14-21 gadgets, including Monday Prayer Go Quickly, so 13 were logged in. Wednesday, we launched our home cell groups in different locations 4 in person and 2 online totaling 6, we started in full throttle. We had 30 participants in the groups. Praise be to God. Friday Service was attended by 10 people. In Punta Gorda, Pastor Diane blessed a couple who wedded this Saturday. Sunday service attendance was 43 people. We praise God for His goodness. We pass our congratulations to the Simukai and Tigere families for the SADOP wedding that took place in Zimbabwe.
CAYMAN ISLANDS
God is faithful and we are grateful for all He continues to do in the Cayman Islands church and the lives of the church members. Cell groups continued to meet in various locations. This Sunday 19 May 2024 we had 44 people (9 men, 19 women, and 16 children) in attendance. The opening prayer was led by Deaconess Bhasikati & Sister Mary. During testimony time there were testimonies of favor and special recognition at work, the power of standing in the gap, and healing. We also had a testimony of how some of the young boys are excelling in sports as well as an appreciation from one of the church members. This shows that God is touching and changing lives. Mrs Makowah shared the word. We continue to ask that you stand with us as we pray for the Cayman Islands church, that the church will grow in the knowledge of God’s word, and that God will open doors for the growth of the church. Additionally, we pray for our Leaders, that the Lord will guide them and direct them as they advise and minister to the church.
SOLOMON ISLANDS
As we continue to celebrate the life and legacy of our father, Ezekiel H. Guti, we had a wonderful walkathon. People were so blessed even if they walked a long distance. It was very good to practice the lifestyle our father lived and shared with us. The attendance was very good. The church was on fire as they sang the old songs, KMD dancers, and powerful testimonies. Attendance was 288, and 16 new souls came to the Lord. From the 6th to the 12th, the believers continued to meet together every day to celebrate the anniversary and were very happy to understand their church. The Marching was led by the police traffic and singing and blowing of vuvuzelas. Some testimonies: those who didn’t have children, have them now. Those who didn’t have good housing, who didn’t know how to work using their hands, who were not in good relationships with families, and some who used to stay in the Hospitals, but the God of our father turned everything around. Glory be to God, for the great things He has done.
INDIA
Gujarat
We are thrilled to share the continued profound impact of Pastor Evangelist Takesure and Faith Matthew. They traveled to Rajkot on Thursday, holding powerful sessions of miracles and extraordinary healings that deeply touched every saint present. Traveling from Vadodara, Pastors Takesure and Faith Matthew ministered not only physical healing but also spiritual renewal. The saints reported a renewed sense of faith and commitment, and the pastors eagerly offered counseling sessions and prayers to those in need. Their impact on our congregation in Rajkot was immense, as the number of saints doubled on their final day. Many received prophecies and healings, and we thank the God of Ezekiel for His continued mighty works. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Forward in Faith International Ministries for sending Pastors Evangelist Takesure and Faith Matthew, as we have received an outpouring of God’s love.
Punjab
We want to glorify the God of our father for His grace as we had wonderful anniversary celebrations as Forward in Faith Punjab, and we thank the God of our father for the continued growth in Punjab. Despite the challenges the work of God is growing, the church in Punjab has grown from nothing to 4 four assemblies, all the assemblies had their wonderful anniversary celebrations.
Zira (District Ferozepur) the local believers started the anniversary celebrations at Zira and they came together with Gilgal and the Rock of Ages Assembly at Law Gate Jalandhar. People hired their transportation and cooked food for everyone then traveled 120 km to celebrate with all international students in their district. There was great joy and fellowship. 110 students gathered, the sick were ministered to and a wonderful time was had in the presence of God.
CAMEROON
Douala
Praises unto the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel H. Guti. The past 2 Sundays have been a busy one for Douala church as it joined the rest of the world on the 12th of May for the anniversary celebrations. The church marched around the city singing anniversary songs, concluded by a dance outside the church which our KMD joined in a dance to celebrate 64 years. Mid-week services were continued as usual in various cell groups. Home visitations were conducted during the week in various believers’ homes by our Pastors to which one believer testified on Sunday that he did not expect a Pastor would enter into his one-roomed house and sit on the floor. Glory to the God of Ezekiel. ZAOGA history Book reading started 3 days before the Sunday service and finished on Sunday. Testimonies were shared on how believers saw FIF as a home after coming to FIFMI. Another one testified of how FIF had taken care of him upon having an accident as none of his family members were there.
In attendance were 35 people (23 adults, 12 Children). 3 people gave their lives to Christ. We continued with our culture of fellowship after the Sunday service as we cut the cake for the anniversary. We continue to extend our need for prayers for church registration.
Ebolowa
Likewise, the Ebolowa Assembly also celebrated the anniversary as the Pastors continued to share on the history of FIF.
NIGERIA
Abuja
We want to thank God of our father Professor E H Guti for our nation Nigeria. As we begin to see a great move in our Nation. A few days after a successful Anniversary celebration, God raised someone to pay for a place of worship for the Abuja Assembly, at Lubge a strategic area, and on top of that he bought instruments. On Sunday the 19th of May we had our first Sunday in our new place of worship with an amazing attendance of 52 people, on Saturday before we prepared the place, overseer Thompson and Tsungie and some men went around sharing fliers, among the people who repented were two boys who are instrumentalists and on Sunday they were the ones playing instruments for us. Before service, some people (including Overseer Tsungie) went out to share fliers. Overseer Thompson Nsingo taught from Baba’s books, History of ZAOGA, Local Church, and Prayer of a Righteous. God moved in a mighty way and many people were delivered and healed. Overseer Thomson Nsingo also dedicated the miracle baby boy who was born during the Anniversary, 6 new people gave their lives to Jesus. After the service, there was a fellowship and people ate together.
Lagos
We also continue to experience God’s miracles in Lagos, this week a man who joined us before the anniversary without a job got a very good job, during the Anniversary we read the history book as a church, how people who had no jobs in Highfield came and gave their lives to Jesus were prayed for and they got jobs, we experienced this same testimony yesterday in our meeting when Christopher came forward to share his testimony glory be to God. God provided a pair of speakers for our Lekki center on Saturday. As God has started His work in Nigeria we believe that everything we need in the Lekki Center will be ready before our prayer convention. Thank you so much for your continued prayers for Nigeria.
BOTSWANA
We thank the God of our father Prof E H Guti for the Child Evangelism ministry of North East Province, Francistown, under the leadership of Overseers T & A Zhou had a power-packed World Festival on the 18 to the 19 of May 2024. Running under the theme ‘Living as a light to the world; Self Esteem; Personal Grooming’ the word festival was graced by various speakers and teachers who taught the children of various age groups and classes about these critical topics in the life of our children and the church at large. The evening sessions were being attended by the whole church and powerful messages were being preached on the same. The children were taught choir songs and various demonstrations resonating with the theme; and of special mention are the awe-inspiring performances by Overseer Abigail Zhou, who is also an artist. Attendance was averaging 70 children and 60 adults and the church attested to how the word festival had impacted their lives. We would want to thank the God of our father for the grace to host such an event.
ZIMBABWE
ZEGU
We give glory to the God of our founding chancellor Prof E.H Guti for allowing us to have Kairos Moment of Miracles on Friday and then Special Sunday with the speaker being our very own university chaplain Pastor Trymore Konye. Both events were up to the expectation, people were delivered, healed, and transformed among other things. Joy was unspeakable. The attendance was well over 500 on both occasions. Both events were a blessing to the university students, staff, and people who came from different spheres. Special thanks to the university chancellor Apostle Dr. Joseph Joe Guti and our mother Archbishop Prof E. Guti for prayers, guidance, and support. We also appreciate the university management.
Gweru
As Southview district, we thank the God of our father, Archbishop E.H. Guti for allowing us to join together with the entire ZAOGA FIF Ministries International Family in celebrating our Church’s 64th Anniversary. Celebrations ran for the entire week, from the 6th to the 12th of May 2024, where saints were singing choruses, testifying about how they came to FIF Ministry and how they became members of this unique ministry. We also managed to read the whole book of the History of our church. During the week, the celebrations saw an attendance of approximately 140 members up to Thursday and from Friday an average of 200-300 members were in attendance. Our guest speakers were DPs Baba and Amai Perai who were mightily used by God on the weekend of the celebrations. On Saturday we had a “Huyai Mose day” as we managed to reflect on time and people came wearing old school clothes which used to be worn back in the day. On Sunday, we managed to march in our area and had evangelists who preached in the local shops. It was indeed a great time of jubilation and celebration of our church and the legacy of our father. We continue to celebrate and thank God for this great ministry which has changed many lives, glory to God. #THE LEGACY LIVES ON!
