This week:  

1. Praise God for the Servant and Apostles of God, Drs Ezekiel & Eunor Guti that God will renew their strength on a daily basis. Baba & Amai have a burden for the Hospital and University – this is a spiritual issue and we need God to intervene. While we are dealing with the secular world this is spiritual business. Let’s thank God for victory in the spiritual realm. They also need strength for them to be able to go to the nations that God has laid on their hearts such as the Scandanavian nations (Denmark & Norway), Romania and other places. Thank God for the financial resources and workers to go into the new nations. Let’s praise God that the transfers of pastors in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and USA will go smoothly. Thank God for the Believers’ Convention for West Africa this Wednesday August 22-26, 2012 in Benin, Africa. Praise God for wisdom as Baba works on the new bible school that will be starting in South Africa.   
2. Praise God for the Believers Convention in West Africa to beheld this Wednesday August 22-26, 2012 in Benin. Thank God for journey mercies as people travel from all over West Africa and other nations.   
3. Praise God for providing the apartment needed as the mission house for the church in Russia at a reasonable price. Thank God for favor with leasing offices and managers. We serve a God who is more than able.
4. Praise God for meeting the different needs for the members in Argentina who were delivered from bad lives so God gives them something to do so they don’t go back to that lifestyle. Thank God for delivering people from religious spirits and adding new souls. Praise God for the new churches in Cyprus and Samoa.    
5. Praise God for the preparations of the Singapore Explo. Let’s thank God for granting favor so we get permission from the authorities in that nation and provision of the funding. Thank God for more people so we can register the church there.    
6. Praise God for the Hospital (Mbuya Dorcas Hospital and Health Centre).  The Casualty Ward (Emergency Rooms) plans to open it doors soon by God’s grace. Let’s thank Him for enabling us to meet the financial targets of things that need to be in place by September 1, 2012. Let’s thank God for giving the understanding of the spiritual nature of this business so we can fight the battles in the spirit. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 “For though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong hold;)”
7. Praise God for ZEGU. Students have started classes at AMFCC and they plan to move to the ZEGU site in September by God’s grace. Praise God for providing finances needed to meet targets of buying equipment that needs to be in place by September 1, 2012.  This is also a spiritual matter like the Hospital.  
8. Praise God for giving every FIF church a burden to raise money for the missions fund that is used in taking care of missionaries around the world. Praise God for the missionaries.

TEACHING:  Fasting alone is not enough – you need the word of God. Psalm 119:34-35. It is the word of God that makes you strong. It is the word of God that will show you the way and give you understanding. Luke 24:45-46 – their understanding was opened. We need to understand the history of our church. Stephen in the bible narrated history because he understood it. FIF church believes people should be rooted in the word of God so they stick to the word. Leaders should stick to the word and preach the gospel of Jesus.  God bless you.
