Dear Friends
BREAKING NEWS – NEW BABY ON THE CAYMAN ISLANDS
Once again its our joy to announce the arrival of another new baby that we have been praying for – FIFMI Cayman Islands. Hallelujah, God has done it again. He has answered our prayers. The Servant and Apostles of God, Baba and Amai arrived on the Cayman Islands on August 4. They were welcomed by one of the local women who rented a van to take them to their hotel. Baba and Amai engaged in intense prayer and fasting. This mission has been very challenging and the place is expensive. Through prayer God provided for His work by speaking to different people to send support. Even after many weeks of prayer we could not find anyone. For two weeks only one person came faithfully. The Lord showed Baba a vision of the digging of a very big and deep foundation. God miraculously led Baba and Amai to a Cameroonian woman who in turn led them to the Zimbabwean community on the Island. Only God can work this way.
Baba and Amai struggled to find a meeting place, everywhere they went the halls were full and they were referred to a government hall by most people. This government hall is only used for government meetings. Through the hand of God FIFMI are the first group of people to use that hall for a non-governmental meeting. Nobody has ever used it for anything else. This is the doing of the Lord. The hall is in a central and convenient location.
People started attending the Tuesday and Thursday evening meetings as well as Sunday services. So far 9 people have received Jesus Christ and 5 have been water baptised. Glory to God.
The team was then invited for soccer games which brought the much needed connection with the local and international community. A local Caymanian woman who had a strained relationship with her son for 19 years came to meet Baba and Amai. After counseling the two reconciled and hugged each other in tears as the bitterness had been dealt with.
Another woman from Costa Rica heard about the servant of God who is in their nation and she came for counseling together with her 3 friends. Her husband, a gifted musician was surprised to see that his wife received Christ and was excited to get water baptized. Through the services and counseling sessions there has been a steady growth of attendance. The following are some of the miracles that have taken place:
A local woman and a Zimbabwean man, together with their families have agreed to work with Baba and Amai in securing a mission house and all the necessary paperwork for the church. Currently we have a temporary mission house where people come for fellowship as well as for prayer and deliverance sessions.
This Sunday service our attendance was 21 adults and 6 children composed of the locals, Costa Ricans and Zimbabweans. Baba taught a powerful bible study on finding your purpose in life from Proverbs 16:9. There was great joy in the service as the Spirit of God moved. After the service because of the joy and sweet fellowship people did not want to go home. Baba and Amai have been able to buy instruments for the church and pay the Hall hire for the next two months. Praise the Lord.
People of God, this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Somebody stand up and give all the glory to God for this new baby. Our God is an awesome God! Baba and Amai would like to thank all those who have been praying for and supporting the work through missions. On the other hand, SADOP (Sons and Dauhgters of Prophets – Pastors Kids) had a very successful conference this past weekend. Over 600 pastors’ children gathered from Botswana, Kenya, South Africa, Ukraine, Zambia and Zimbabwe. There was a lot of joy and peace, the presence of God was evident. There were powerful teachings and touching testimonies of the life of SADOP. 79 people received Jesus Christ as their Savior, 15 people were water baptized and 15 people received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Everyone left feeling refreshed and hearts have been set ablaze. Glory to God. News from around the globe: Boston
Praise the Lord we had a good service in Boston. We were 18 adults and 2 children. All the people who attended are our regular members. We still need prayers though for some of our members not to work on Sundays. This Sunday was a special day of setting up home Bible study cell groups. We put five groups in place around Boston and New Hampshire. The groups will kick off this Wednesday. Two more groups will be set up with some of our members who drive 2 hours to come to church.
One of the members led a powerful Bible. Dr Cathy preached a testimonial message on righteousness which touched the hearts of the people. When she called for an altar call all the people came upfront and a number were in tears. We are happy that all the people who are coming are showing a sense of belonging and everyone is excited about the home cell groups. We are believing God for church growth through the Cell groups. The God of our father is answering prayers. This last Friday which is their Sunday, one assembly had 29 Adults and 9 Children and the other had 16 Adults and no children. The locals are embracing the teachings of FIFMI from Baba’s books. After teaching praise and worship from Baba’s book explaining the biblical principles of dancing and using instruments, the singing became lively. We keep encouraging church members to be actively involved whether in Praise and Worship, testimonies and preaching. People have been encouraged to win souls and bring them to church for their next service on Friday. The need for a bigger meeting place in both locations is urgent. Sweden
We thank God for giving us another week full of His faithfulness. On Saturday the ladies had their High Tea party/fellowship which was a great success. The total number of ladies who attended was 22 and there was an atmosphere of joy as the ladies were being taught on subjects of health/ fitness and the Word of God. Some of the invited guests expressed interest in visiting our Sunday services.
Sunday service attendance was 17. We had a visitor from Geneva Switzerland, a student from Linkoping (200 km away. A young man came as a result of street evangelism and promised he would attend regularly Belize
Had a great week, Saturday night we launched Youth for the Nations. Led by our member sister Ticyee Davis, its amazing how the Lord gave her grace to win young people. 29 people were present.
Our Sunday service was great too, though the enemy is attacking through some religious spirits we continue to see the grace of God, an average of 36 people attended church.
Pray for the members that they may be anchored in the doctrine so they won’t be moved by storms but remain strong
