Rome
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti and our mother Apostle Eunor Guti for His grace. The Church is now showing the signs of physical and spiritual growth. This Sunday the attendance was 21, with some of our members not present due to work. And with many promises of those whom we are witnessing to and inviting to Christ this gives us much faith and much hope. We are praying for God to give us families in our Church in Rome.
Miami
For the Tuesday bible study we had 5 people in attendance while 12 attended the Wednesday bible study at the retirement home and our Thursday bible study was attended by 4 people
Our Sunday service attendance was 4 people and we had 2 new people attend; one lady was from St Kitts and she is waiting on her family to relocate to Miami. She enjoyed the service especially the word and will continue attending Sunday service. Glory to God.We are believing God for a family that has been attending with us for the past few weeks. There is a young man that we are mentoring and he has committed his life to the Lord. We love you all and thank you for your prayers.
Dominican Republic
We thank the God of Ezekiel that the Dominican Republic is entering a time of joy as we will be celebrating our first birthday anniversary in the month of October! We remember how the servants and Apostles of God, Baba and Amai Guti laid the Apostolic foundation of Forward in Faith here in Dominican Republic. Our first Sunday service was held on the 18th of October 2015. Thank you for remembering us Lord Jesus! The hurricane that is passing Santo Domingo this weekend did not dampen our spirits or our hunger for the things of God but some services were postponed due to the weather. The Sunday afternoon service in Pedro Brand group 28 had 28 adults in attendance and 15 children. We need prayers for our Alcarizo Mutata 1 assembly and believe that the dirt road will be paved with tar and cement very soon. This location is hilly and remote and is cut off when the weather gets very wet.
Argentina
We thank the God of our Father who has been with us since we came two months ago. We are beginning to witness and experience growth. We recently had 3 people give their lives to Christ and one person rededicated her life to God. Lately, our midweek services have also been experiencing more people committing to attend the services. We now have a good membership although all are not able to attend at the same time because of work during the weekends.
Please pray for us. We are still following up on some of the believers who stopped coming at a time when there were no pastors. Argentina is also going through economic reforms which have proved a challenge to its citizens, our believers included. Many people have resorted to working long hours and doing multiple shifts to meet daily needs hence failure to have free times for services. Thank you for your prayers, they are sustaining us.
Grand Cayman
Brethren your prayers are blessing us here in Grand Cayman! We are getting testimonies of people getting jobs and others their visas from immigration. Surely the Lord God of Ezekiel is good! 5am daily prayers at the mission house were attended average of 6 people each morning. The other morning prayer group that prays on the other side of Grand Cayman averages 4 people and prays 3 days a week. Tuesday Ladies prayer was attended by 7 ladies. Wednesday bible study had 8 people. We had a very powerful all-night prayer on Friday attended by 14 people. The power of God was manifested as people worshipped for a long time before going into intercession and spiritual warfare. It was just great! With the threat that Hurricane Matthew could hit us in the Caymans, it seems to have discouraged people and Sunday attendance was 32 people….28 adults and 4 children. 1 person received Jesus Christ. We also had a keyboard player. Pray with us that he will be permanent
Jamaica
This week has been rather subdued for the church in Jamaica. We are still grateful to the God of our father for being able to hold all our scheduled meetings. We continued to teach from the Book, “The two ways of knowing God.” During our Wednesday church Bible Study.
The Friday service was heavily affected by the news of Hurricane Matthew which was reported to be on it’s way to Jamaica. Despite that we still had a powerful service with only six adults in attendance and no children. The Sunday service was equally affected as only 16 adults and 7 children attended the service. Most people only went out to stock up in preparation for the days of the hurricane. Otherwise people are staying indoors. The church in Jamaica greatly appreciates the prayers of the saints of God especially in these trying times of Hurricane Matthew.
Turkey
We want to thank God and you for your prayers for this fantastic week. Last Tuesday we went for a church outing to eat at a Turkish restaurant in the center of Dalaman. It was a great time of fellowship and encouraging each other in the Lord with our native people. We thank God for the Turkish lady who has been attending church and has even brought her daughter. İn the evening we had a Bible study with 4 people. We used the book “Small Groups Home Bible Study”, which we have translated to Turkish, by a Turkish Christian publisher. We discussed about Water Baptism.
Friday evening we had our prayer meeting, 6 people attended this prayer session and one of the Turkish believers even brought his grandson, so that made it 7. After the prayer session one person was so touched, and gave a gift to the church. We then visited a Turkish family, husband, wife and their 5 children. They received us with open arms and they invited their neighbors. We had a very good time and encouraged people to come to church and hear more about Jesus. A young man 19 years old, who already received Jesus as his Saviour some time ago asked to be baptized. On the Sunday we also had a great service with 15 people in attendance. Elder Dirk Melis shared about the power of Unity. Prayer request: For the Turkish believers. Protection for the new Turkish believers.
